We bought this at the Linens and Things going out of businesss sale, the Margaritaville blender dm1000 was on our watch list from the first time we saw it in the skymall magazine. Even on sale, it was 189 dollars, but has lived up to its potential as a ice shaver and drink mixer all together in one machine. My husband has taken control of the drink mixing with company to show off the automatic features. You have your choices one, two or three drink positions and then either auto or manual and then it is all the machine working not you. I went through a back to basics blender with spout (broke) and a Kitchen Aid that cost twice of what I paid for it in repairs when the plastic parts melted inside the motor (who puts plastic parts in a blender motor?) As of right now all thumbs up for the margaritaville blender!

This is a very wonderful machine. I bought mine a few months ago and use it for so many things. I have made slurpees for the kids,blended dinks,smoothies and protein shakes. Hands down an amazing machine....

I love my Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker! It is great for parties, or just when you want a frosty good margarita. I use it to make non-alcoholic snow cones and slushies for the kids. Also, throw in some espresso and your favorite ice cream and you've got your very own high-end frozen coffee drink…yum!

This is a great machine. At first, you wonder why it is different than an old fashion blender. Then you see that it shaves the ice and blends at the same time. I love to make no only margaritas, but frozen daquairs and many other frozen drinks. It is easy and fun....

This Machine is Awesome, it is very easy to use it is Restaraunt Quality, It will make margarita's like the ones you can only go out and buy. It shaves the Ice really fine and You can also use this machine as a blender to make awsesome smoothies and slushies too.Not a wimpy machine ,has a powerful motor and it works great !!!...

I received the Frozen Concoction Maker at my bridal shower last week. Basically, I added it to my registry on a whim and was floored when two of my friends chipped in to buy it for us. We put this product to the test over the weekend and I have to say that I love it!

The Margaritaville DM1000 Frozen Concoction Maker is different from your basic blender because it actually shaves the ice before adding it to the glass jar for mixing. The ice reservoir drains away the water created as the ice sits and melts throughout the night so you don't have to worry about winding up with watery drinks. This machine has a pre-programmed "shave and blend" setting that allows you to just add your liquid ingredients and hit a button to create delicious frozen margaritas, pina coladas, daquiris, etc. You also can manually control the ice shaving and then blend the mixture for as long as you like.
