The hotel is host to so many stores and attractions that we almost got lost inside! That is not a complaint by any means! The room was lovely and you really didn't have to leave the hotel for anything! They had it all... entertainment, food, gambling...etc! We loved it! It was basically the last hotel on the strip, so we had a good starting point when sightseeing.
...

houdini16409 says "Mandalay Bay is beautiful luxury for the whole family." about Mandalay Bay - Las Vegas, NV

Mandalay Bay is located at the far south end of the Las Vegas strip, which is personally my favorite part of the strip. It is such a beautiful hotel, and you can see it from far away because it is so tall. The first time I went to Mandalay Bay was about 5 years ago, it was the first time I had ever been to Las Vegas. The one thing I noticed about Mandalay Bay that most casinos don't have, is how quiet the actual casino is. Sometimes you walk into one of the casinos on the strip and you just want to leave because it is so loud. Not Mandalay Bay.

Mandalay Bay is absolutely georgeous. I have to say that it is one of the most elegant hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. If you are staying at Mandalay Bay, you have to check out the large wave pool. Arrive early though, just because on hot days it can pack up quite quickly. This pool is definately something for the whole family. You have to be staying at the hotel to use the pool.

     Mandalay Bay also offers...
...

Had so many problems in just 3 days. Had to wait over 3 hours for our room, even after making the reservation 6 weeks in advance. Buffet was just ok, some of the foods had little to no taste. How can you fry bacon with no taste? We were two smokers with one ashtray. That might explain the cigarette burns someone previously put on the phone. The beds were really comfortable. Lost electricity through no fault of the hotel, but it's hard knowing everyone is gambling and dancing and we're walking around in dark rooms. You'd think they'd have some kind of back up. On checking out, computers were down. When I was emailed the bill, I was overcharged, but accounting took care of that with a simple phone call. Had to call for a bath mat the second day, the third day I just said forget it. When I researched this hotel the reviews said 5 stars. Not impressed. We did get comped some meals for having to wait 2 hours for the room the night we checked in, but then it became almost 4 hours. I'd of...
...

f04sdgm711 says "So beautiful and spectacular that I didn't want to leave!" about Mandalay Bay - Las Vegas, NV

They seem to have even their own exquisite "scent" in the air, I have never smelled the freshener anywhere else. Mandalay Bay was the most self contained, well equiped stay I have experienced in a long time. I really would never have had to leave, if I had been alone. The staff makes you feel at home, and very comfortable. Anything you request can be found for you, fast and efficiently. Fantastic choices of excellent cuisine. Shopping was glorious. Making time to relax and have fun was easy, and the wave pool it so relaxing, but the best way to relax after a long day of gambling, eating, shopping, and sight seeing is to "float the river". They have a long water way that you can float around in an inner tube or just on your own let the soothing water wash you along like being in a calm river flow. You will cherish the memories, and will want to come back again and again....

We spent 4 days here last February and had a fantastic time. There is a nice shallow area for small kids next to the wave pool. The rooms are clean, and there are lots of nearby choices as far as restaurants. You can get a real Las Vegas experience staying here....

For those of you looking for a little elegance in the heart of sin city, this is a great destination spot. The rooms are large and comfortable, and you will have a great view of either the strip or the lush pool area. The downside is the price of the rooms which can be costly, but if you have a high budget, it is totally worth it. I think they have the best pool area in vegas, because they have a man-made beach where you can actually surf in the middle of the desert. There are other attractions on site too, my favorite being Shark Reef. Take a stroll through this aquarium and come face to face with a variety of sharks, crocodiles and sea jellies. If you are looking for a night out there are plenty of dining options including RumJungle which turns into a fantastic nightclub after hours, and House of Blues which has amazing music and food. The hotel is also connected to Mandalay Place with great shopping and the Burger Bar which is a destination in its own because you can finally......
