My husband and I purchased the Magellan - Maestro 4000GPS Navigation System a few months ago when he started traveling with his job. It has helped us find places that we didn't think could have existed. It is very easy to use and with his large fingers the touch screen is a breeze. The only problem we have had with this navigation system is that on long trips on a interstate - the voice will scare you to death after it has been idle for a while. One problem we have had is that is sometimes takes a while to recalculate at the beginning of a trip. If we turn it off and go where we know to go without it, it starts back at the place where we turned it off and takes a while to update, so if you leave out thinking you know where you are going before it recalculates, you could be on the wrong track and have to detour. We really have enjoyed this product and would still be lost if we hadn't had it on some of our trips.

Magellan - Maestro 4000 GPS Navigation System does the trick. It gets you to where you are going. It's great for the long trips especially if your going somewhere that you've never been to before. It can be a little annoying at times, but it still works none the less. We recently took a long trip down to Florida, had no idea how to get there but it took us all the way with no problems. It's nice not having to stop at a gas station to ask for directions like we used to have to do. It could use more updates though on actual places under the searches but other than that it works just the same. It could be a little easier to use as far as typing in addresses etc, takes a bit too long to program. We only purchased it recently so that we could have it for our trip, it is defineately worth the money we spent. In the long haul, it is a time savor. We ran into construction along the way and it had re routed us with no problem. WOW!!

Magellan-4000 GPS Navigation System. I still get lost using it,but no matter how long it takes, I will get there. That is the only thing that saves me from having a panic attack.

What can I say if you were to blindfold me turn me around a couple of times and then unblindfold me I would be lost. My friends make fun of me because I live in Boca and sometimes I still have to ask them how to get somewhere. We bought the Magellan last year before our vacation. We travel to Pennsylvania every year and on the way from there to home we stop along the way. I am an okay map reader and usually my husband does all of the driving and I am the navigator. What a pleasant surprise when we plugged in our destination to Maggie (that is our nickname for the Magellan) and she directed us to our destination. Not only did she reroute us when there were detours but she got us there in the quickest time. I use the Magellan not only when I am travelling but also when I am driving locally especially when I have to drop my kids off at different friends houses. I plug in the address and it takes me to their door. Buying the Magellan was the best investment we could make now I can......

mAGELLAN MAESTRO works great. It tells the name of the street an additional plus. And warns before 2miles and then every half.that makes managing turns and changing lanes very easy. Besides audio warning are very easy even if you are not able to look at it. The only problem I face is that often it selects some routes that are difficult..overlooking the easy ones. And at times few details are bit obsolete.otherwise it works great.Has so many added advantages and options.I really recommend every one who never wants to get lost:-)...

My story behind getting this unit, was my husband had to make an emergency trip to Tennessee and we live in Indiana.. He knew how to get o Tennessee but wasn't sure about the location he needed to be at... So he purchased this thinking he was going to use it once, than sell it on Ebay or something, then he got attached and i did too. Great system and great with detours and faster routes that avoids freeways if wanted......

Funny how lost one can feel without access to a geographical map. After having used the Magellan 4000 GPS Navigation System, I doubt Ill ever be able to go back to paper maps. How convenient it is to input an address or city and receive step by step instructions on how to get from point A to point B. The software is extremely easy to use with bright colors and arrows help you identify the direction you are traveling. I recommend this particular device and have not found any problems with it thus far....

The Magellan - Maestro 4000 is the best navigation system that I have tried. It gets you where you need to go in style! It is also super easy to use, and the voice keeps you on your toes. I would get this for everyone I know as a present, but sadly I'm a college student, and don't have enough money to do so.

the magellon is the only gps you will ever need. easy to use for people that are not able to find their way around the block. you can use with confidence. my wife loves her gps because she doesnt have to have me drive her somewhere. she can go whenever and where ever she wants by her self...

The Megllan Maestro 4000 is a great system. This is the first GPS I have bought. It is very accurate. Depending on choosing "shortest distance" or "least amount of time" it does change the directions alittle bit and can take you around in a circle to get to the same place. But over all it is great in saving time and my flustration. I Love it!!...

The Magellan Maestro 4000 is an excellent GPS system. It has become my husband's new mistress and made family trips a lot more pleasant. The system is easy to use. Gives directions in enough time safely maneuver, and the voice is not really annoying. It is also priced reasonably. A good product at a good price....

I BOUGHT 2 FOR MY KIDS ON SALE AND AFTER WE TRIED THEM OUT , I HAD TO BUY ONE FOR MYSELF A WELL. THI PRODUCT IS GREAT IF YOU TEND TO GO ALOT OF DIFFERENT PLACES, BUT , REALLY GREAT FOR THE KIDS WHEN THEY ARE OUT ON THERE OWN OR AWAY AT COLLEGE.
