I am in love with my Maclaren Triumph stroller. I had a previous stroller that I used when my daughter was first born and it was an evenflo system which had the carseat carier also. This worked well for me at first because I always had my daughter in the carrier. as she got older the stroller worked well, but my daughter was so tall that she quickly out grew this stroller. When I would recline the seat, she could not lay down because there was not enough room for her head!

We went to go look for a stroller that would accomodate a longer child and we found the Maclaren. At first I didn't want to spend the money (almost $400!) but the stroller has been the best ever! My daughter is 3 and she can still lay down with comfort! It has a 5 point harness, the seat extends at the front so your child has more leg room, and it is very easy and light. I especially like that the handles extend upward so my husband does not have to bend over while pushing her.

It also has an extendable...
...

NiftyJ88 says "A great travel stroller w/ some design flaws" about Maclaren Triumph Stroller

My husband and I were tired of pushing around our huge travel system stroller for our 3 year old daughter. We decided to look for a comfortable light weight stroller that would be easy to fold up compactly for an upcoming trip. I decided to purchase a model off of ebay - new, in a discontinued pink color - at a greatly reduced price. The stroller is comfortable and has a canopy, which is a feature many umbrella strollers lack, as well as a rain cover. I was able to purchase an organizer for the back of the stroller to hold water bottles and other items that we want to keep handy. The underseat basket is sufficient for smaller items, but you can't pack a whole lot in it. For me, that's okay because if I wanted a huge basket, I would have used the huge stroller. The one design flaw that bothers me is that when it folds, the wheels touch the canopy and it gets dirty. My husband and I both find it easy to push. It doesn't maneuver like a cadillac, but it more that suits its purpose as a compact,...
...

I bought a Maclaren Triumph (2007 model) for my then - 8 month old. We had been using a Peg Pliko up til then, but it was really bulky, and he didn't like the feeling of being surrounded. The Maclaren is really light, fold up small, is easy to open and close. It reclines, so if he falls asleep in it, I can tip him back a bit, and keep walking. The steering is great, and the handles adjust up, so it's easy to push. It's smaller, so you're not pushing something 10ft in front of you and hitting people :)

It is very lightweight, so if he's not it, I can't carry anything on the back of it without it tipping over. It's not great for anything off-road, but if you know that and plan ahead (ie bring a stroller that is good for that), then it's no big deal. It also doesn't do well in the snow or slush.

I really like that it has a higher weight limit than the average umbrella stroller. Most of the cheaper umbrellas only hold kids up to 25-30 pounds. This will hold him up to 50...
...

The Maclaren Triumph Strolleris a lightweight (weighs 11 lbs) and has a strap so that you can carry it over your shoulder after you have folded it up in the compact umbrella fold. It is easy to fold with one hand. The stroller has a mesh bag for storage, water resistant hood, aluminum frame, foot operated brakes, lockable front swivel wheels, foam insulated handles, 5 point harness, and a rain-cover. The stroller is

Although this stroller is pricey it is worth the expense! I have taken my Maclaren Triumph stroller to baseball games, on domestic and international travel and just around town to the zoo. The stroller is well made, it is durable, and it is convenient! I have used this stroller since my son was 18 months and he is now 3.5 years old and still loves this stroller. I still use this stroller when we are on the go and will be doing a lot of walking.

I highly recommend the Maclaren Triumph stroller!
...

another beautiful stroller that I bought, this was my first stroller with my son and it is very durable and stylish, got lots of compliments on it. My son fits very comfortable in this stroller the only thing is its a little hard to close and its not a light stroller so since my son is heavy its hard to carry up and down the stairs but excellent for a newborn or light baby....

I love this stroller except one small thing it is so light that when I take my son out of it , it allways falls back and all I might have on it is a diaper bag but if I have only a couple of extra things in it then the stroller will fall back, other than that its a wonderful stroller well worth the price....

We bought the Maclaren after initially purchasing a Peg Perego. My daughter hated being in our first stroller, and I was thrilled that she was content in the Maclaren from the moment she got into it.
The Maclaren is much more padded, and offers many more features than nearly any other umbrella type stroller; belive me, I did the research! The reclining seat, the rain cover (a godsend on a blustery New England winter day!) and the sun shade below the hood all offer extra protection for your baby. It is easy to maneuver, comfortable for the baby, light to cary, and consistently good quality.
I believe you get what you pay for, and although the Maclaren is not the least expensive umbrella stroller, it is certainly well made, and worth the price....

I purchased this stroller from Babies R Us thinking that it would be a great lightweight stroller instead of that heavy travel system. I first noticed that I hated this stroller was when my son and I were in the parking lot of the bank and I could not get it to close for the life of me. It was the summer and about 90 degrees outside. I was panicking. I had to call my husband so he could talk me through closing it. How terrible. That was just the beginning. Every time I closed this stroller I would pinch my fingers.

Another thing that I do not like about this stroller was the fact that my son could not sit upright all the way. He would always be in the reclining position. It didn't go all the way up. That is the design of this particular stroller I guess. I don't understand why though. My son likes to look around and see his surroundings so that annoyed him as well as me.

The front of the stroller has just a bar. No cup tray or snack tray for him to put anything on. The bar was ok to keep......

I had a much more expensive stroller, but use this one instead. It is so light and easy to use. I can fold and unfold it with one hand. It can maneuver between even the smallest aisles in the stores. It is also a great stroller for a taller person. My husband, who is over 6 ft tall, can push it easily without being hunched over. I've never had a problem with the fact that it doesn't fully recline. My son has fallen asleep in it no problem since he was about 5 months old....

janeenoel says " High Quality Lightweight Stroller" about Maclaren Triumph Stroller

Please note- this refers to the '06 model of this stroller.

I did a lot of research before buying this stroller, and I couldn't be happier. In the past I've used several Combis and this stroller stands head and shoulders above them. In the world of lightweight strollers, the Triumph is a standout.

I purchased this stroller on clearance at BRU last winter and it was one of the best baby purchases we have made. We took a 9,000 mile roadtrip when our baby was 4-6 months and took her everywhere in this stroller. It performed fabulously. It's very lightweight and folds compactly. It's sturdy and attractive. It's a dream to push and turns on a dime. It's small enough that we didn't feel uncomfortable squeezing it on to a crowded subway or in a large tour group. We have been extremely pleased with it. Maclaren has an excellent reputation and this stroller proves why. It's a quality, well-built product that I believe will provide many years of good service.

The sunshade is virtually useless...
...
