Nanuti says "High quality umbrella stroller." about Maclaren Quest Stroller

I have a love/hate relationship with all my strollers. It seems that for every pro, there is a con. I've yet to find the stroller that fulfills all my needs but the Maclaren Quest comes pretty close. The good and bad:

-Truly a one-handed push, this this is so easy to steer. It glides through stores.

-Compact, good for travel, easy to fold/unfold quickly.

-Has a window in the sunshade to peak at your little one.

-Very small basket, hard to access. Nothing extra like a cupholder or snack tray - but hey, it's an umbrella stroller.

-My #1 gripe when I use this stroller is that if you have a bag hanging off the back of it and you take your baby out the stroller will fall over. Doesn't matter how many times I do it, I always forget. And speaking of other things I forget, do not fold this stroller without collapsing the sunshade! Take it from someone who just spent $40 on a replacement sunshade.

-My #2 gripe is the sunshade is useless. We bought a 3rd party sunshade to strap...
...

I am a travel nanny so i get to see just about every stroller out there. Maclarens are one of my favorites as they are lightweight, easy to use and easy to fold--which is important when you have a baby in one hand and a stroller in the other. They roll well and I don't have as much trouble with guiding it as you do with some strollers. Most of all, I had the canopy get crooked on one of the strollers. I don't know how it got that way but I called MacLaren which had an office near by and they just said bring it over! 24 hours later I get a call that I can pick it up, they replaced the canopy at no charge! Customer service is important when dealing with equipment for children.
...

When baby number three came along, we started shopping for a new lightweight stroller to use after we no longer needed our infant stroller/travel system.
I spoke with other Moms who had recently purchased strollers for their toddlers and the one name I kept hearing over and over was Maclaren. Most recommended the Quest model for its features. So, I did some research and was able to find a brad new, but one year old model for about half the price of the current year models! It had all the same features and a fun print, so I jumped on the chance to get a Maclaren Quest stroller!
I'm so glad I did! Our Maclaren Quest is lightweight, folds up easily, and compact enough to fit in very small vehicles.
It is so easy to use! I get it out of my trunk and have it ready to go in just seconds.
It features a five-point harness for ultimate safety of the child.
I also love that it can hold a child up to 50 pounds! It is hard to find a good quality stroller with such a high weight limit. I love that...
...

The Maclaren Quest stroller was the perfect mode of transportation for my baby who is now 4 1/2 years old. It's extremely durable, lightweight, compact when folded up, and the wide variety of accessories that accompanies the stroller was wonderful. We still use the stroller, and my daughter never complains about comfort - she's about 40lbs and just over 3 ft tall now. We're a suburban family with plenty of sidewalks to use; therefore, my only complaint is (on my older version) that there are no shocks so the ride tends to be a bit rough on any surface that's not paved or concrete. Some other pros are that anything you might want that isn't included with the stoller such as cup holders and an additional storage compartment are available through Maclaren's website as well as at some retailers.

The Maclaren Quest Stroller is a wonderful addition to families with a young child. The Maclaren Quest is a five point harness stroller for added safety. It is quick and easy setting this stroller up. Folding the stroller and putting it back up is a little harder than other single strollers I have used. The Maclaren has a wonderful warranty, you can also purchase spare parts on the website. This will help your stroller last for years.

As a parent of a special needs child who uses this product almost daily, I would recommend this to any parent looking for a lasting stroller.
...

The Maclaren Quest Stroller is a great stroller! We did a lot of research before buying this stroller. We compared several of the other higher-end stroller brands (Peg Perego, Bumbleride, Bugaboo) and realized this would be the best value for us. The things we considered when making a decisions included: portability (I didn't want to struggle with a giant stroller that weighed almost as much as I do when loading/unloading it into the car); length of time our child could use it (I couldn't see spending a few hundred dollars on something that wouldn't last more than several months); safety (need I say more?); appearance (I don't like the look of some of the European strollers out there right now; they look like those carts you rent at the airport to lug your bags around); and value (okay, I seriously cannot afford $700 on a stroller). We found that the Maclaran fits our needs best. A bonus: I love the look of this stroller. We have taken it on dirt trails at state parks (even though it's...
...

I actually got the Maclaren Quest Stroller from a friend when I had my son Anthony. I absolutly love this stroller. It has gotten me though some tough times when i would have had to go home, if I didnt have it. the Maclared Quest Stroller is very durrable, and looks to be very comfortable. My son loves being in it. If he wants to take a nap it is fine becasue the back of the stroller lays down and plus there are extender at the front so that he can prop his feet up! I think that is a wonderful attribute in its self. who wants to sleep sitting up with their head lolled to the side. Talk about a serious neck ach. I am not completely sure on the price of the Maclaren Quest Stroller, becasue like I said I received it as a gift at my baby shower, but I would definatly recomend it to anyone who is having a baby, it is compact but durable. Most of the other compact stroller I see fall apart in no time, I am able to give this one to the next person I know having a baby becasue...
...

gords17 says "The most durable stroller on the market!" about Maclaren Quest Stroller

I love my Maclaren Quest Stroller. I've had it for over a year and it is a pleasure to use. I find it to be the most durable stroller on the market. It handles the rough terrain of New York City like a champ. It's easy to maneuver and a cinch to close up in a hurry. You can do it with one hand if you are holding your baby or diaper bag or anything else us moms seem to be carrying at all times. The seat goes back enough that my son takes his naps in there. He likes it so much that he now refuses to nap in his crib and only naps in his MacLaren! I also find the storage underneath is spacious and the pocket in the back is perfect for pacifiers, snacks etc. The best part about it is that it's not too heavy. Usually when something is durable it's hard to lift, but the MacLaren is made to be easily transportable. Without the help of my husband I can take my son out, close it up and put it in the trunk. Not an easy task for many stroller models! I don't mind the extra...
...

This is one of the best strollers in the market. It's very stylish and comes with all the latest features for the safety of your kids. Also, and this is what I like best about it, it's very affordable (runs ~$150), great on the eye, it has brakes, it's lightweight, it folds easily, and it allows your baby/toddler to streatch and nap if they want to. ...

SO easy to use inside and outside. The folding and un-folding is a piece of cake. I love it so much. I have it in red color and it looks awesome....

momtothreekids says "Comfortable, Lightweight, Great Recline, Easy to Push" about Maclaren Quest Stroller

The Maclaren Quest is a great lightweight stroller. It is perfect for the mall or walking around the city. The seat reclines almost all of the way back, which is great for younger children as well as any child needing a nap. This is one of the few umbrella strollers that also fit larger children. It has a high weight limit and older children still fit comfortably. The stroller is very light and easy to push. The Quest can be opened up or closed down very quickly and easily. The basket underneat the stroller is on the small side, however that is the nature of umbrella strollers. The hood of the stroller isn't great and does not provide a lot of protection. However, again, that is true of most umbrella strollers. Even though this stroller is more expensive then some, it truly is a great stroller. It works great for younger babies as well as older kids, is very durable, lightweight, and easy to push. I highly recommend it....

I am so glad that I decided to purchase this Maclaren stroller after researching all of the strollers available in 2005. We have used it quite a bit during the spring, summer and fall months for everything from walks around town to visits to the zoo... and from shopping trips to stops at the park. I have taken the cover off (by reversing the way that I put it together the first time) and washed it in cold water and air dried it with great results. The canopy was the only part that I couldn't get off. This stroller is compact and easily fit in our Mercury Mystique along with other baby necessities.

The one thing that I don't like about the stroller is that the cover is black... it fades so easily!
...
