Wow, I went from a Dell 17 inch laptop to a macbook pro 14 inch widescreen. I absolutely love it and would never by another lap book that is not a Mac again. It is very fast with my SLR photos that are 14 megapixels. The graphics are amazing. The i photo program is very nice and is better than most programs you pay for. Everything is so easy to use on the computer, though it does take time getting used to it. It is also light weight to just pack up and take with me, and the battery life is amazing. It will last about 7 hours, where as my Dell may have made it 2 hours. I love the built in webcam and enjoy talking to my sister who lives far away on it and seeing each other face to face. The speakers are awesome, and I use it to listen to my music, with the itunes program. I loved that it acme with all this software on it for free and was fully loaded and ready to use. I did put windows on it, with parallels and it runs faster than I have ever sen windows run. If you can spend the extra money...

I love my macbook pro! I have been a mac user since the mid 90s. I grew up in a design family so it only made sense. My laptop is almost 2yrs old and I have never had any problems with it. If you are a PC user looking to convert I would HIGHLY recommend it! It may take a little getting used to but you don't have to worry about viruses or other headaches. Not to mention the fact that your mac comes fully loaded with all necessary basic programs. It used to be much harder to communicate with PC users but it is pretty much seemless now. I am ADDICTED to photo booth! It is SO much fun to play with. I work with kids and they love making short videos on there. I am able to organize my pics, music and files easily. If you have any creativity in you do yourself a favor and get a mac!

All I can say is W-O-W. This laptop is insane!!! It's so nice to look at and the keys are easy to type with. I bought a protector for my key pad and it works great :) This is definitely a computer worth the money; my brother bought one for college and he loves it too. The mouse is a little bit different than what you're used to though- it has one big flat panel and one full bar (instead of two separate ones) to click with- but you get used to it quite quickly. AND the best part is that it even comes with a free printer (when they have a certain promotion/offer going, of course)! Overall, this laptop is definitely a keeper with its simple yet stylish design and its array of fantastic colors to choose from. The Apple team also assists you very nicely when choosing which computer is right for you :) Obviously, this Macbook is P-E-R-F-E-C-T for me because it does exactly what I need in an easy-to-function way. DEFINITELY recommended!!!

I LOVE this laptop. I got it as a graduation present last May, and have been using it everyday since. It keeps it's charges for a good amount of time. I use it to take notes during my college classes and it will stay on for the entire 4 hour classes without dieing. Plus. it will charge make quickly. Another feature I love is the magnetic charge cord. If anyone pulls the cord out, it has a magnet so it doesn't break the cord. This is useful because I am clumsy and always bump stuff, and the cord doesn't rip out of the computer. For me, this computer is very easy to understand and use. It has tutorials and videos you can watch to explain everything you need to know about the computer. For example, the first time I open the Imovie app a "Learn more now!" information page popped up to give me a tutorial on how to use it. I LOVE iphoto! I take photography classes at school, so I use Iphoto a lot. It is really easy to organize your pictures - it uploads them into events, where you click on a...

I've had a Mac laptop for 8 years now and recently upgraded to the MacBook Pro 15". Best decision ever! It's sleek design is as beautiful as is it practical. It's under an inch thick and fairly light weight. The base is a solid piece of aluminum instead of the previous versions of assembled sheets of metal, which often came loose, so it's very sturdy feeling.

The screen is bright, has a mirror finish and is a great size for both regular computer use and graphics work. The keyboard is well spaced and lights up in low light. The built in webcam and mic display a great quality of both sound and picture. The touch pad is adjustable for sensitivity, and my favorite feature....the two finger scroll. Just use two fingers on the touchpad to move the page up, down, or over, I just love not having to move my cursor over to the scroll bar.

As always with a Mac I find it very easy to navigate and it's organization of folders and programs is practical and makes sense. The power cord attaches to the...

When I first started using computers, I was all about PCs. I was under the impression that Mac were only for super-nerdy-computer-savvy professionals with too much money. When I started going to film school, I was required to buy a Mac. I'll be honest, I was not happy! BUT, Mac has WON ME OVER.

Recently, I upgraded to the MacBook Pro 15". This is the best computer I've had yet, and I have three in my apartment right now. It's incredibly user friendly, so me being not terribly tech-smart, I can navigate and operate with ease. There are also lots of neat little things, like keyboard shortcuts, scrolling/zooming/etc on the trackpad. The built in camera is great for chats with my friends and family. The screen is amazing, too - I rarely watch movies on my TV now, because it just looks so much better on my computer.

It is a great computer for average everyday use, but I also use it for multiple programs that just don't work right on my PCs. I have Adobe Creative Suite...

I am basically addicted to my 15" Powerbook Pro. It runs on OSX 10.5.8 and it is super reliable, fast, and user friendly. Before I got my Powerbook Pro I had a G4 (a similar model) and it really stood up to the college-related beating I gave it. It ran almost perfectly and virus free for four years, despite the fact that I didn't shut it down as often as I should have, dropped it numerous times, used it with 4-10 applications open at all times for 4-10 hours everyday, etc. So far, my 15" Powerbook Pro seems to be just as reliable and durable. I've now had it for almost a year and a half and it's still going strong.

Because Mac now carries versions of all the Windows Office programs, my Mac has all the functionality of a PC, plus lots of additional functionality, a great screen for tv/movie watching, a logical interface (something I find sorely lacking in Windows), and I've been 100% virus free on my Mac products since 2004.

Macbook pros,are really fast and easy to use,i dont why more people dont use macs,you dont need to purchase any anti spyware with it as macs dont get viruses or spyware,i think its easier to use than pcs,pcs come with lots of trial stuff but macs dont,which is good so u dont have to delete them after.The Battery life on the macbook pro is amazing,it can last more than 5 hours when its brand new and almost 2 hours after its a one old.

Macintosh MacBook Pro 15" I have this and I find that the macs are overpriced and hard to use...I rather have my PC which gives you more for your money and is usere friendly...I gave my husband the mac and bought my laptop PC and I love it much better

The MacBook Pro 15.4" inch is a computer that stands the test of time. With additional ram up to its 3 gigabyte capacity it does everyhting a desktop can do and more. You get the famous and worthwhile Mac software which includes iLife, a set of applications that permits the user to work right out of the box. All Mac progrmas work seemlessly. Of course, if you must use Windows that is possible as well, but it begs the question as to why. The screen is bright and responsive and the backlighting on the keyboard beats anything that a PC can hope to imitate. It will take some getting used to if you have only used a Windows based machine--think at least one week. After that time you will wonder why you ever used a PC. The only problem is that, despite what the people at Apple will tell you, there is not a great deat of non-techinical programs for the Mac. Sure, there are the usual suspects such as Work, Office, Photoshop and Apple's equivalents, but many other programs must...

In the three years I've had my 15" MacBook Pro I've had very few problems great Apple support and amazing success turning simple pictures into fabulous iphoto presentations or using ichat to talk with friends around the world. The drag and drop platform simplifies all of the things I used to do on my PC and the built-in applications, like Front Row (perfect for viewing your DVDs/music or the latest movie previews) and Dashboard (where you can catch up on the latest news/games through your widgets) make it so fun to use! I was able to adapt to the mac versions of the Microsoft Office programs very easily and things really are simple to figure out with the MacBook Pro.

OMG let me tell you about the macBook pro 15 is the best laptop i have ever in my whole life used and i love it so much...being the young person that i am it is very easy to carry around and that is useful to me. i use this computer everywhere i go! at work things need to be done but i don't have time so i just take it home and do it there...and when i have family outings i can take my laptop and connect my camera to it and use it there and upload it to my web page...........this laptop has changed my life completeley.i use this laptop every single day...since i want to be in photography..the macc book helped benefited me in doing my own graphics and making them how i wanted to make them...this computer is amazing im talling you , you have to try it out it is so cool.i would always get stuck waiting on my PC to hurry up and load and the mac book just loads so fast i don't have to wait at all.

I got the MacBook Pro as a gift two years ago. To be honest, there is no way I would have ever bought a Mac if I hadn't gotten it as a gift. My father is a PC computer programmer, and I grew up around PCs and know how to use them well. However, when they got really popular and everyone around me had them, I really wanted them because of all the cool features. Well, "cool features" doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about my computer. It is so easy to use, even being a former PC-only user, the Mac is just insanely intuitive. I remember using my HP laptop with an HP printer and being completely unable to get them to talk to each other! Every time I plugged the printer in, I would have to reinstall it and update a driver, or this or that. With the Mac, I can plug ANY printer into it, and it just prints, no questions asked! No set up, no drivers, so easy! The only deterrant is, these computers are EXPENSIVE. I don't think I could have ever afforded one if it weren't a gift.
