I love this laptop! It is the first laptop that I have owned after using PC desktops forever. I would highly recommend a Mac to all of my friends. I have never had a problem with viruses or programs shutting down. The programs always open quickly and work efficiently. I especially love iPhoto. The photos are displayed at the highest quality even when the camera quality is not. Photos taken with my camera phone even look good in iphoto. I don't have the newest version of iphoto but I hear that it is great with the face recognition and storage options.

My only complaint about a Mac is that it is sometime difficult to find compatible programs to run. Everything runs on a PC but there are more and more programs being offered for Macs recently. Many applications that I have downloaded recently were previously PC only and there are now Mac downloadable versions.

I have had this laptop for 3 years and expect to have it many more.

The Mac book is wonderful. This is first time owning a Mac and I just can't believe I didn't get one sooner. I don't have to worry about virus or your computer freezing up. Plus it already has alot programs already built into the computer such as, Garage band, iTunes, iPhoto, iMovies, built in webcam and bluetooth capability. It has been a great investment.
...

mikecamy says "This computer outdoes a PC anyday of the week!" about Macintosh Mac Book

Up until a few years ago I was strictly a PC user and very anti-macintosh. I always thought they were too complicated and did not allow the user to have any versality. I was very wrong. When I married my husband, who is a strict mac only man, he was ready to change my opinion for ever. He wanted to replace my old PC laptop with a Mac Book and I have never been happier. I can take it anywhere and get wireless service with the airport device automatically installed with every mac book. It is lightweight and easy to take anywhere. The programs are so easy to use and much cooler than any version that I have experienced on a PC. The Microsoft office suite is much easier to use and much smoother than any version for PC. The best part about using the Mac Book is that I never have to worry about a crashing program or a virus infecting my machine. Mac's just don't have the problems that PC's do. Every PC user should try a mac, It will change your computer choices forever!
...

daNIEL8999 says "the mac book things" about Macintosh Mac Book

SO ITS A MAC BOOK OS X

Its not just any laptop. The mac books come in about three kinds of colors, white, black, and silverish gay. Macs are very easy to use and not to mention fun. the apple logo, outside on the screen, has a light in it and that light lights the apple image up when the Mac is turned on. the key bored and touch pad is very simple. Although there is only a left button by the pad, you can also access a right button just like on a mouse or even a regular laptop excluding a mac of course. To access the right button simply press the control button (ctrl) and hold down the touch pad button both at the same time, you should see a tiny box that shows commands. A con of the mac book is that the price is kind of high, but you will be putting you money to work. Mac books are easy to operate and also easy to carry around, wether on the go or just at home or office. All mac books come with wifi.
...

My Macinstosh Computer has been a great purchase. I am computer challenged (basically email, writing papers and an online course) I have had 2 PC's including a Dell. The Mac has not let me down in over two years. Never a problem and if I have a question I have either called the store or apple care and my issue was resolved quickly. The only con has been that initially the Mac is more expensive.
...

lindsaylouella says "I HEART MAC" about Macintosh Mac Book

My husband had been trying to talk me into switching from PC to MAC, but I had NO experience, so was a little reluctant. Finally, our PC crashed, and we were in need of a new computer. We decided to buy a MacBook, and boy, am I glad we did! I LOVE that thing! It's sleek, easy to carry, and even easier to use. Mac makes storing pictures a breeze and everything is so simple and basic to find. It didn't take me very long to realize that I had been missing out by not having a Mac. Everyone tried to convince me that it's easier to understand than a PC, but I wasn't on the band wagon until I actually purchased one. MAC makes everything easy, even their customer service department. With MAC, you're guarenteed that if you have a problem you can take your computer into the MAC store & They will help you sort it out. That's great comfort for those of us how aren't computer savvy. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy a reliable, easy to use & FUN computer!!
...
