I have never been one to put on a lot of makeup or get too "gussied up". I preferred light coverage and wanted to look as natural as possible. I didn't even consider a concealer because it seemed too gunky and thick for my taste. One day, while I was shopping for some MAC makeup, I asked one of the employees for some help with colors for me. After we picked out some items, she asked if I used a concealer. The tone that she used made it sound like I NEEDED to use concealer (for under my eyes). I told her that I did not. She offered to put some on me to try, and she said that it would "bring everything together". I said yes and she brought out the studio concealer stick. The next thing I know, she is done and I am happily looking in the mirror. I had never noticed that the light purple color under my eyes was unattractive until I put this on. I have been using the Mac Studio Stick for awhile now and it has been the best foundation I've found thus far. I am a make-up minimalist due to my incompetence when putting the stuff on. My acne has been getting worse so I needed something with a little more converage without the hassle of liquid foundations. I have this along with one of the Mac brushes and it is perfect. I can apply perfect coverage in only a minute. For someone with moderate acne (redness and bumps) it does a great job with the redness but also doesn't make my pimples flakey or gross. The color works great and I don't get any weird shading around my neck. It's a little more then the studio fix compacts but I think it's worth the extra $10 and it's just as mobile (about the width of a lipstick container and only a little longer). Reapplying doesn't look bad, and I usually feel the coverage fading after a few hours so it's not an all day wear, but I don't mind that because it's so light I wouldn't expect...

I DON'T REALLY WEAR TOO MUCH MAKE UP JUST A LITTLE EYE SHADOW AND LIP GLOSS, BUT WHEN I VISITED THE MAC COUNTER IN LAS VEGAS I HAD A FACIAL AND IT WAS WONDEREFUL. THE STUDIO STICK IS THE BEST. IT EVENS OUT THE SKIN TONE SO WELL. I LOVE IT

I bought this for $15 a year ago and I'm still using this. The concealer is long lasting and the color matches my skin tone perfectly. I really suggest you try it today. MAC is a good company to buy from. Some of the products are expensive, but definitely good quality......
