MAC's Studio Fix has amazing coverage-so incredible that most of the time concealer is not even necessary for me to cover my acne scars and acne. However, it can be a little thick at times but I find that easy to fix by buffing the area repeatedly with a brush. Not only does it have such full coverage, it does not aggrevate the skin to give rise to any more disguisting little pimples that ruin my day. It's also okay to reapply every time one gets shiny-it merely restores that flawless look. Having used the product for five years, I have come to realize that maybe I am biased because I never used any other kind of foundation. So, I decided to try out some other foundations.

First, I tried Noevir's pressed powder. It was great (it reminded me so much of MAC's Sutdio Fix) but it only comes in four or five shades. I had never tried a foundation/powder combination product before and a friend of mine talked me into it. I really didn't expect it to give me the coverage that I liked but I was pleasantly surprised that it "almost" did it. I love the way Mac had made it so easy to apply my makeup and I love the way it looks but it doesn't quite make it in the coverage department. So, I corrected that problem and I simply use a coverup under Mac's Studio Fix and now my skin looks flawless. The color is perfect and it stays on all day. I love it. It saves me time and time is money.

I love Mac Studio Tech foundation. I use NW 20 it has medium buildable coverage. Very easy to apply I use the foundation sponge that comes with each compact. They can be washed with your facial cleanser and set out to dry. I usually do this once before replacing the sponge with another mac sponge (they have great sponges). I love how portable the compact is not messy like liquid foundations can be. I was very leery of using a cream foundation I always think that cream foundations will break me out. I am so glad that I gave studio tech a try. I have had no break outs at all from this foundation. It is also moisturizing and soothing to my skin without making me oily. I have oily combination skin (dry on the cheeks). It does not accentuate any dry patches or large pores and stays put pretty well even on hot humid days. Each compact lasts me a little over one month so the price is not that bad for such a high quality product. I highly recommend this foundation.

Can't say enough good things about Mac makeup or the studio fix line. It is a truly amazing line. I have been using it for about 3 years now and have never found a better foundation or powder. Studio fix is an amazing product that stays on all day and looks great as well. There is no need to constantly re apply throughout the day. Put it on and know that it looks great.

I absolutely love the whole MAC line but the Studio Fix is my absolute favorite foundation and powder. I find that it stays on all day even after sweating it out in 100 degree weather. It never leaves my face oily and always covers just enough without being too much. I think that MAC is a very fashion forward brand and always has the trendiest of makeups. It is by far a an amazing makeup line and Studio Fix is at the forefront.

I have always been against foundation that comes in a compact, because it never seemed to cover enough. I have a bit of Rosacea, which means pink/redness in my cheeks, chin & nose. Powder foundations I've used in the past did not give enough coverage, or they were very very oily. All of my close friends use MAC so about 2 years ago I tried the MAC StudioFix compact, and I can honestly say that I have NEVER tried another foundation since then. I absolutely love this stuff. It covers well, but doesn't look oily. Sometimes it looks a little "powdery" but that's because I'm very pale and need a little blush or bronze to make me look less powdery. This product is great, and I swear by it. I would never want to switch to another kind. After I liked this so much, I began to try other MAC products, and started to use their TeknaKohl eyeliner, Mascara, and perfume. I've been pleased with all of it, but the StudioFix foundation has been such a great find.

Seriously, I have searched and searched for the right foundation. Don't waste your money on Clinique, Estee Lauder, Mary Kay, Arbonne, etc. Max Factor is not expensive and it is the best I've had. Great coverage that actually looks natural. And it doesn't wear off! Will never go back to the other stuff.

I am a woman of color who kept looking for the right shade of foundation, and something that would feel light and yet cover any blemishes. For the longest time I used Dermablend...good coverage but very heavy on the face. MAC Foundation is truly the best. It is a bit pricey but it is well worth it. The shade is perfect for my skin tone. I did the free consulting thing at their store and was so amazed at how natural and even it looked with the cakey feeling. Now, I'll never go back to any other makeup than MAC.

Ok so I have tried COUNTLESS powders, foundations, powders + foundations, and any other mix you can possibly find....and NONE have done the job that MAC Studio Fix does. Not ONLY do I only have to apply it only once a day and have it endure until I'm home from work/school--but the powder seriously lasts for like 6 months (so for those of you who are on a budget, it may cost $20+ dollars for the compact, but you get a lasting product)! I also love that this product also doesn't make my skin greasy or have that "heavy" feel to it.

The cherry on top of all this is that they have my EXACT skin color match--I have such fair skin that when I've used powders before, they either were a tad too dark or left my face looking pale--not MAC.

Definately recommend trying if you haven't already.

I have used MAC studio fix for a very long time and it is great, and the price compared with other brand name cosmetics is outstanding. I love this product because it is easy to use, does not clog, it feels fresh and you do not have to reapply so often. I usually put it on in the morning and in the afternoon after lunch and it lasts all day long. I tried other less expensive brands, that you can buy at the grocery store and it is really more expensive because the quality of the product is not the same. The matte finish is great specially for oily skin, it gives you a great coverage without being overdone. The only drawback that I see is that the sponges wear off very soon and you have to buy the replacement which are some what expensive if you buy the MAC ones, but you can buy the replacement at the grocery store for 2.99 a piece and they will do it. I really recommend this product 100%, it is a good value for your money.

I have worn MAC Studio Fix for years now but I am thinking of trying a different brand only because as I age, my skin has started to change and I need something with a bit more moisture. The last time I had my makeup done at MAC they told me I should probably just use a light foundation than powder because of my drk skin. However the Studio Fix has been my go-to makeup for a long time and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a bit more coverage than your average face powder. It is a bit thicker and feels more like a foundation. You get one sponge when you purchase the compact and have to buy additional sponges depending on how often you use the powder. MAC sells them for around $3 I think for 2 or 3 but you can find them cheaper elsewhere. My compact has also lasted me a long time because I don;t usually wear a lot of makeup unless I am going out so I don't have to replace it too often.

MAC Studio Fix Foundation

I have oily skin that's very sensitive. I also have a skin tone that's extremely hard to match because depending on the day, it may have more red undertones and more yellow undertones another. This makeup covers my flaws and looks totally natural. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing a mask, it's not heavy at all. Great makeup and it's affordable!
