MAC makes so many limited edition colors each year, it's a mad dash to get to their store in order to buy it before it is sold out. The color "So ceylon" is a rose bronze with golden bronze veining. Those familiar with MSF's know you can choose your veining if you ask an S.A.to see some compacts side by side. I luckily found a compact of So ceylon with a large vein of gold. It is rare, and I love it. MSF's are made as a liquid and then baked, afterwards they are set into your compact. Each one is unique and has it's own design, but the colors are the same. This color works well for light to medium skin tones. Fair skinned girls will have a very hard time getting it to blend. So "Petticoat" is better for you. Darker skin tones would love "Gold deposit". Now onto the brush... Since you need a light hand, you will need a feathery brush for your cheeks. :) MAC does sell a skunk brush, but I have found cheaper brushes that work just as well and are pretty. I have other reviews of Mineralized Skinfinishes and explain at length how to use them and why I rave about them constantly. If I could have nothing but Mineralized skinfinishes in my kit, I would be satisfied.

WHAT IS SO CEYLON SKINFINISH LIKE?

Described as a Rose Bronze with gold bronze veining, SO CEYLON MINERALIZED SKINFINISH is part of the Sheer Minerals Collection from MAC that was just released this past weekend.

So Ceylon Skinfinish is a lovely rosy medium brown taupe color with a pearlescent finish to it. It is in a domed cake of product and a little goes a long way.

If used with a *skunk brush* (a brush with short black and long white bristles- in MAC it is known as #187) application of this product provides a lovely light diffusing finish which brings the Hollywood glow to the face.
