I absolutely love this product! It sprays on so evenly and gives a great tan. It's so easy and fast. I never get streaks anywhere espesally around my hands and feet. It's totally worth it and if someone disagrees...they must be putting it on wrong or not wearing enough lotion and exfoliating regularly. I love love LOVE this product!...

The summer is almost here, and that means it's the time to start tanning. I decided to try a L'oreal Sublime Glow self-tanner. I usually start tanning in spring, when it's still not a dress season, so that way when it is time for a dress season, - I would already look like I came from Miami few days ago... When I used a L'oreal Sublime Glow self-tanner for about a week - I was surprised at the results. This self-tanner compares a little bit to Dove Energy Glow because it smells great, and the tan was visible within a week! The negative thing about this self-tanner is that it doesn't dry fast, so it made me run around the room naked for some time... Also, I would recommend - and not only for this self-tanner, but any others that you might use, I would recommend that you apply it in the evening, after you take a shower, apply the self-tanner, and then wait some time before putting on your pajamas and going to bed. Another negative thing about L'oreal Sublime Glow is that if you stop...
...

This is great! No streaks, no orange - just a beautiful tan. I have always rubbed it in, even though the directions tell you rubbing is not needed - i take no chances with streaks.

The smell is not awful, but not great. It is worst when it comes into contact with water, i.e. in the shower.

I tend to break out easily, but I use this on my face and it causes no breakouts which is an extra plus!

Overall, I think this is a great product and I am really enjoying being safely tan year round....

To the Point
When we headed off to California last December I bought Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist by L'Oreal. I am still using it because I have it and don't like to throw things away unless they're terrible.

A Closer View

I bought the color "medium skin tones" which seems fine for me. It comes in a 4.2-ounce can with an easy to use push down spray top.

We're told that L'Oreal Sublime Glow has a "hydrating moisturizing MicroFine Mist." There are a lot of claims on the can that I'll address.

Pros

The mist is super fine. I thought I'd really love it for that reason. My thinking was that if the mist was clear then the color would be streak free. I don't know what I was thinking. Some of the best tans I think come from practice and I have gotten to like this better over the months. I still don't love it.

It does give me a slow tan. I don't turn tan in an hour. It is gradual which I like.

It dries quickly which is good since I'm not supposed to get dressed until it's dry.

I don't have...

...

I have tanned in salons for far too long and now I am trying to use lotions / sprays to get my tan. I have tried almost every one on the market including this. I was horrorified with the very first use. It did not go on even - as the so called tan was fading - it looked like my legs and feet were dirty.

Not reccommended at all!
...

rlucterh says "Difficult to use accurately and smells musty." about L'oreal Sublime Glow Moisturizing Microfine Mist

I am trying out various self tanners in preparation for a summer wedding.

I bought this particular L'Oreal self-tanner in the hope that it would be easier to apply, have less room for error (i.e. streaks), and smell better than the usual self-tanners.

However, I've found that it still smells musty, and is difficult to apply. The spray nozzle is alright, but trying not to over-do it in hard to reach areas such as the middle of my back was tricky. I ended up having spots where the spray was applied too heavily. The one good thing about this product is that it dried pretty quickly.

I think I'll stick to the lotions. Overall, I think they are easiest to apply and have less room for error. I'm still looking for one that smells nice!
...
