http://www.viewpoints.com/Lord-of-the-Rings-Return-of-the-King-reviews Wed, 12 Aug 2009 16:18:37 GMT Latest reviews about Lord of the Rings : Return of the King http://www.viewpoints.com/Lord-of-the-Rings-Return-of-the-King-review-8cf11 <p>Lord of the Rings Return of the King is the third of the trilogy and well worth it.  The music, the characters truly are exceptional.   This part is the last of the great war and the destruction of the ring.  Gandolph plays a great part in this flick.  He is what one would call a good wizard.  The war of middle earth has so much action that it keeps you at the balls of your feet wishing to see more.  The finale is one of excitement and joy.  If you were to view this movie, you would be so entertained and you wouldn't get out of your seat.  If and when your purchase this movie, you can be assured that you will need to get the snacks and soda well before the movie starts.  This is a family film and you will be happy and satisfied with this movie.  I originally purchased the trilogy which cost me close to $80.00.  This movie can now be purchased at an affordable price.   To all who have read the book when younger I am sure you will agree the movie is best.</p>... I was thrilled when they said it was coming to movie but a little worried that some of the details would be lost. When I saw the first one I knew Peter Jackson had hit the nail on the head. He included almost everything that he possible could into the movies. Return of the king is amazing, the action scenes and especially the greast battle scenes are amazing. The stunt work and animation is excellent. By the time you get to the third movie you already know and love the characters, but now you are attached to them on such an emotional level. The extended versions of all the movies are a must. I remember watching the extended movies with my sister and we were so thrilled when we could point out all the new scenes and details. It combines supurb acting, a fantastic storyline, and it remains fairly true to the book. An avide LOTR fan from the age of ten, I highly recomend this movie.  It can be a little dark at times, but this adds to the theme of the movie.... But with all the hub these three movies got, I knew I couldn't miss it. The movie is very intense, but never gruesome or bloody. The storyline has more depth to it than any other movie I've ever seen. I've watched the trilogy twice already and will probably view it multiple more times.
