Loratab 7.5 has helped me alot with pain in my back and legs. I have to take them daily or I wouldn't be able to move around without severe pain. They do wonders for the class that they are in. I am able to do my housework and get out in the stores and walk around. Before I was basically a hermit....

After a major roll over accident in 94 I had the unfortunate need for pain medications. I have been taking Loratab for almost 18 years now, I guess I am somewhat of an expert in how it works. Up until about 8 months ago I was taking them on a regular basis of about 2 or 3 a day in the 7.5mg strength. Which is 500mg of Acetaminophen and 7.5mg of Hydrocodone. The mixing of the acetaminophen with it allows the hydrocodone to work better than if it were by itself.

Hydrocodone

Hydrocodome is derived from codeine and thebain and are opiates which means they originally comes from opium. It is for moderate to severe pain and when mixed with the acetaminophen works pretty good. The big problem is people get addicted to it very easily as they want to keep the euphoric feeling they get from it. I have been scared of getting addicted but have gone weeks without taking one just to make sure I don't.

Eight months ago my Dr. lowered the number of Loratabs he gives me a month and I now wear a Fentanyl......
