soccertrekkie says "Never leaks!" about Lock and Lock Food Storage Containers

I love these Lock and Lock reusable containers. They absolutely never leak! Even when put in the microwave with water inside them they do not spill or have the lid pop off. They are very durable and do wel lin the freezer. Be careful if you drop them coming out of the freezer I cracked the corner of one of the lids when it fell out of the freezer. Also the plastic does not do well for long times in the microwave. The bottom of some of my containers has become wrinked due to my husband putting it in the microwave for more than 3 minutes. Also since they are clear they do become stained when tomato products are microwaved in them but it is not that bad to clean. They are very expensive though and there are several off brands some even available at the dollar store which are just as good and far cheaper. I would recommend getting a multi pack because it is the best deal if you get the name brand.
...

Lock and Lock food storage containers

I used to have lots of plastic bags to store kitchen dry food like flour or sugur. The store room is messy. I bought 3 sets of Lock and Lock a few months ago which is about 20 pieces. My husband load each bag of food in and paste label on each container. Our kitchen store room is so neat and tidy now.

I love being able to take soup to work without spilling it in my bag! The gasket seals take a bit of "learning" to remove and replace, but once you have the hang of it, they are a cynch.

These are plastic, so you do have to use caution not to over heat - especially red sauces and other things that get very hot very fast, but they do take more heat than tupperware.

I have been using them since they first hit the store shelf and the seals are still just like the day I bought them.
...

dollie326 says "Some of the best storage containers you'll every find." about Lock and Lock Food Storage Containers

The first containers had tops you had to line up to lock and lock on four sides. They thought they would make it easier by not having to line up the closures. Those particular closures didn't work well. I now use them to put batteries and non-essentials in. If you buy the lock and lock make sure to get the containers where you have to match up the closures. They are air and water proof and I've tested them out numerous times and they work great....
