I didn't think I would like this movie, but am so happy I gave it a chance - I LOVE it! It is one of those movies that kept my attention from start to finish. I would describe it as a "feel good" movie, because that's how I felt by the end of it. I've actually gotten off the couch and danced to Super Freak myself! Now that is saying something! Gotta see it!!!!!...

Now this film is a bit on the odd ball side, it is funny, and I like it, I don't think it was Oscar worthy, but then I didn't think the Movie "Babe" ( the pig one ) was best Movie and it won, "Apollo 13" was much better for that yrs Oscar, but Hollywod didn't want Tom Hanks to have 3 in a row..politics...lol Anyway as I was saying it's a cute film but NOT for kids.....The "F" word is used a lot.

I am usually a bit snobby when it comes to what movies I like. It is normally horror or foreign..and I rarely stray from the genres..but my husband made me watch Little Miss Sunshine a while back and I loved it! It appealed to my off sense of humor, and had me laughing from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who likes dark humor....

Little Miss Sunshine is the perfect movie for anyone who likes to watch movies that go against stereotypes. The main character is a chubby little girl who got accepted into a beauty pageant. Her brother in the movie is such a funny character and you will easily embrace his comedy. The grandfather dies and they stuff him in a trunk. The van doesn't start and the family is nuts!...

the movie little miss sunshine is one of my favorite movies. I think almost everyone can relate to the disfunctional family, lol. I recommend seeing this movie. Especially for anyone with a disfunctional family like mine, makes you feel better about your family....

I did not know much about this movie when we rented it, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought it was a great movie, and the boy who didn't speak was an added benefit because I thought his character was a great asset to the movie. I am looking forward to watching this again!...

This is not a movie for kids, but it is a great movie for adults. The cast is great, and each of them did an excellent job in their roles. It's very funny, but it also makes you look at the darker side of their lives. And you have to laugh during the talent show...it's just too funny....

Little Miss Sunshine was a great story. It sure felt like a typical California family to me with so many complicated issues going on all at the same time. Each character had a unique sense of self and life issues that spoke to the audience at a Universal level. The vulnerability of each character living through their own personal challenges of life made it easy to relate even without having experienced their personal issues. In the end this movie is about accepting people for who they are rather than trying to make them what you want them to be. Its also a lesson of acceptance and unconditional love ...

I must say that ... after seeing numerous coming-attraction trailers and hearing much ecstatic praise about this film, I was prepared not to like it. I figured it was another cute-kid vehicle. In other words, I was a "hard sell."

To make a long story short, I have now revisited this movie at least five times and every time I have seen some other thing to appreciate. This is a wonderful movie and everybody did a fantastic job. It was one of those films where all the supporting characters (even the incidental ones who played people the family met along the way or at the hospital or beauty pageant) were important and treated their roles with respect. Though the family was dysfunctional, the characters were never disrespected by anybody involved with this film.

I can't imagine the amount of rehearsing and careful choreography it took to get those shots of everybody chasing the car along and jumping into it while it was in motion!

I think this is one of the cutest movies I've watched in a long time. At first the movie seemed depressing and a little over the top. But I stuck through it and I'm glad I did!! This movie made me laugh and cry!

The story is really cute, and in a way sort of an eye-opener. Not at all what I expected the movie to be.

I recommend this movie to anyone who needs a good laugh, or a good cry!
