tabackus says "Wireless G does it for me!" about Linksys wireless g broadband router

I found the Wireless G extremely easy to set up and I'm NOT a techie. My work is important, so I really enjoy the security this wireless router provides. It has never failed me and would recommend it for ease of use as well as the great peace of mind it offers. I can use my laptop anywhere in the home without any kind of problem or loss of connectivity. You may go with what you wish, but I doubt you'll find a better, more reliable product on the marketplace. Plus I can connect up to four units, which is more than I even need at the moment!
...

Lorimalron says "Good in stable, urban/suburban areas." about Linksys wireless g broadband router

The Linksys Wireless G Broadband Router is a good router. The range is perfect in a non-gargantuan house, and can be reliably used by most modern computers with a wireless connection, or a direct connection to the router itself. It takes a little while to set it up to work and give protection for the network, but after that it works fine. The only real negative is its reliance on stability. After a power outage, a storm of any kind, an earthquake, or other intereference, it will reset itself. It will not die and short-circuit unless directly damaged (a power surge can take it down), but the user must redo a good portion of the set-up and if the computer network is password protected, it might take a little work to get everything back in order. As long as the user has decent assurance nothing funny will happen, the Linksys Wireless G Broadband Router is a great choice. The lower rating I gave it is due to bias from living in an unstable area.
...

Mom2boys says "Easy wireless setup and security" about Linksys wireless g broadband router

We bought this Lynksis wireless g broudband router to replace an older wireless B broadband router. Our newer laptop and computer had the faster G network cards and the old router would not keep up.

This router was very easy to setup and with the security for the wireless connection. We have several computers hooked up to it via wireless and network cables. We also have a video game system that is hooked up to it through wireless.

It is small and compact with easy setup. It is easy to access the router for administrative changes and review. There is also a log that can be kept to monitor all the computers and what websites they are accessing.

When friends and family come over they are also able to easily hook up to it through the wireless connection.

We would highly recommend this router to anyone in need of a new router for their computer or gaming systems that need a wireless connection.
...

I have had this Linksys broadband router for year now .I have two personal computers and a laptop that all use it on opposite ends of the house and have never had a problem losing signal even when we are all online at same time .My computer stays connected at 100 mbs .It also has the program to password protect it.I have used other brands of routers in the past just to in the middle of something inportany and lose my signal .My brother inlaw told me i should try a Linksys router like he was using.I checked on prices and found that for the money and the quality is was a great deal.I have the wireless g series 2.4 ghz with speed booster. It has the one button connect for laptop to pickup and lock in and having dual antennas pretty long range. They have differnt series depending on what you need .I have had no problems with it what so ever and if i ever need another router would without a doubt buy another on from the Linksys line.
...

bigdawgfan says "so far,so good" about Linksys wireless g broadband router

The Linksys wireless-g broadband router is ,in my opinion, an excellent choice for anyone looking to either set-up a wireless home network or use it for VOIP. The set-up is a snap and it connects to the internet easliy. If using for VOIP, all calls made and received are as clear as any phone call that you can receive. I have had no problems with connecting, clarity,or dropped and missed calls. The signal in not interferred with by any other household electrical device. I have not had mine long but so far I have no complaints whatsoever. Anyone who is looking to set up a home wireless network or set it up for internet phone service, then I strongly recommend the Linksys broadband router. I do not see where you can go wrong with the purchase of this item. Prices will vary from location to location, so you will have to check your local area for the best prices. From my experience, Best Buy and Ebay will probably be your best shot.
...
