Workalotaholic says "I Want to be Buried With this Chair" about Lifeform Management Grand Chair

I have been searching for a good office chair for several years now. I have tried the Herman Miller chair, and it is ok, but not great and, in my opinion, not worth the money.

I finally found RELAX THE BACK. They have something called Lifeform chairs, which are just what I have been looking for! The people in the store were very helpful, more focused on matching me with what I need rather than a high-priced chair.

I bought a Lifeform Management Grand Chair. It is, beyond a doubt, the most comfortable chair I have ever sat it. It adjusts in a million different ways to fit ME, personally. The seat is made out of memory foam and has made it so I can sit in my office chair for 9 hours +!!!! This is just what I have been looking for!!

I work from home, so I use my chair all day in my office and then wheel it out into the front room at night so I can sit in it when I watch TV.

I am in love with this chair. I want to be buried in this chair. FIVE STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!
...

relaxthebacksucks says "synthetic leather + relax the back = waste $1500" about Lifeform Management Grand Chair

DO NOT BUY THE SYNTHETIC LEATHER!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM RELAX THE BACK IF YOU EXPECT ANY SUPPORT OR HELP.

I bought the high back version of this from Relax the Back. I, stupid me, bought synthetic leather. If you're buying one of these, I'd guess that you sit on your chair for a fairly substantial period of time. The synthetic leather HAS NO BREATHABILITY, and this makes the chair almost unusable for extended durations - fundamentally preventing this chair from being used for what you'd think would be its intended purpose.

I called Relax the Back within a few days of using the chair. I was told by the saleman when I bought it that they had a 10 day return policy - which is the whole reason why I bought it, thinking if there's a problem I could return it. The saleman basically told me he's never had the complaint before and that I was SoL. He wasn't kind or even willing to discuss the problem with me. When I asked to talk to his boss, the said that his boss was the store owner, that the owner...
...

Matt says "Could an office chair really be worth $1,000 ??!!" about Lifeform Management Grand Chair

Several years ago I was suffering from some lower and middle back pain issues. The combination of stress and working at a desk all day typing was producing very tight muscles in my back. I had a very occasions where I was laid up for a few days barely able to walk.

I sought the advice of many people. One of the first things people told me was to get my workstation set up so that it was more ergonomically sound. I installed a key board tray, bought an Aeron Chair for the office. I even stopped keeping my wallet in my back pocket because I was told that it was getting me off centered. All of these things helped. Ultimately however, I attribute some of my "cure" to Pilates.

All that said, I also "invested" in an incredibly comfortable chair for my home office. I am sitting in it right now and of all the chairs I have used over the years, it is the most comfortable (and the most expensive!). It is called the Lifeform® Management Grand Chair and I bought it at a Relax the Back...
...
