Leapfrog Learn alon leap is a small frog toy which sings the ABC song. It can be used as an attachment to the stroller or car seat or you could just simply take it along wherever as a stuffed toy. It's a kinda cute toy. My daughter likes the ABC song and like "LEE"!!she knows to press itz belly to make it sing. Press Leap is all you need to say. She'd find him out of her toy pile and press the song button and start dancing along to the music. Itz small and can be taken as a distractio when u are on the move. However the drawback is that the toy only sings the alphabet song. There's nothing more to it. I bought the toy at a discount price and so i think it was a ok deal. Otherwise it would not be worth the price just for one song in my opinion. It has volume control at the back and the toy can be turned off as well. The frog does have a creepy laugh but we have gotten used to it. But my daughter seems to enjoy it though.okay to buy at a discounted price
...

mgdragonfly says "Soft, safe and portable learning toy" about LeapFrog Learn-Along Leap

Learn-Along Leap was one of my son's first gifts and he still carries it around! Leap is soft and safe for babies. He can clip on to most anything for an on-the-go toy. Just squeeze his belly and he sings the alphabet song. My son has had his for almost three years and still carries it around playing the song.

Leap is made of a soft fabric, which wipes clean easily. His clip is large enough to attach to the rail of a stroller, crib, shopping cart or the diaper bag.

I preferred Leap for my son when he was a baby because there are no attached parts that can come off and present a choking hazard. Leap's eyes are printed on the toy, not attached.

I haven't had to replace the batteries so they are obviously long-lasting. That is another plus which makes the toy extremely affordable. It is sold on average of $10 at retailers.

I'm sure everyone who purchases Leap will enjoy the interaction their child has with the plush frog while he sings his ABC's along to your child....
...

The Leap Frog Learn-Along Leap is my two year old daughter's favorite toy! She carries it around with her everywhere and is always playing the song. She used to have Leap Frog Lily but well that poor frog is history now. Not because she didn't love her, but because as the bath was running, she wanted to see Lily swim! She had Lily for over a year, the poor thing went through quite a bit and withstood everything but the bath. Anyways, anything made by Leap Frog has my utmost approval! (They should make them waterproof though, Lily became a screeching toad, LOL). Leap is very cute, he's small, has the sweetest voice and tune, and who doesn't love the alphabet song?! Very simple, not your typical modern toy that has a million buttons and plays 500 different songs. Just the alphabet, simple and classic. Like I said, it's my daughter's favorite toy and by the way, she sings the alphabet very clearly in english as well as spanish thanks to Leap and Lily! :)
...

We got this for our baby's first Christmas. He was about 3 months old at the time, and instantly adored it. It wasn't too much longer that he could push the tummy and hear Leap sing. This was one of his favorite, if not his favorite, toy until he was about 16 months, when he moved up to the next version, Tad. The Learn Along Leap is an awesome toy sure to be a hit with any baby!
...

bskathy says "Teaches ABC's Leapfrog is the Greatest" about LeapFrog Learn-Along Leap

This leapfrog learn along leap toy is the best. It is educational, fun, colorful and easy to use. I really like how it is small and can be attached to the stroller. There is also a 1,2,3 version which is a girl frog. The batteries last forever. There is a volume control and an on off switch on the inside where you change the batteries. It is easy to clean. It is not like many of those annoying toys you aquire. It is a very inexpensive toy and will keep your baby or toddler busy for hours. I think the cost was around $10 very reasonable for a kids toy.

My daughter got this toy for her first christmas. She played with it none stop until her cousin stole it. We never did get it back. She would sing her A,B,C's along with it. She also had the 1,2,3 Lilly which we recently just got rid of since she has outgrown it.

For quality toys Leapfrog is the way to go. They strive to create great toys that parents will love.
...

I received this toy as a gift prior to the birth of my first child. The gift giver went a little nutty on my love of frogs and thought that a learning alphabet singing frog would be a great addition. I at first found this toy to be quite cute however now that I have had more time to learn and grow with my child I understand that a toy like this is just annoying and unnecessary. Most babies- mine included- have incredibly limited attention spans and a toy like this is honestly not going to teach them much. She will generally squeeze his belly and then walk away leaving me holding the incredibly loud frog which only sings the ABCs. LeapFrog has other toys which in my opinion are far more baby approipriate IE their fridge magnet ABC set which allows the child to change the letters to hear how they sound, or select a seperate button to hear the ABC song. The magnet set also allows the parent to choose the volume or to just shut it off (this toy has neither of those options) In an effort to...
...

Learn-Along Leap is one of the many Leap Frog toys that we have in our home and was the first that our daughter was given as a newborn. She is now one-year-old and still loves to hold him and squeeze his tummy for the alphabet song. This toy has gone everywhere with us and is easy to attach to strollers, in the car, to a shopping cart cover, and numerous other places. It's affordable and durable with no small pieces or parts that will wear out or fall off. The only thing about this that I have not liked is that it cannot be turned off so we have to be really careful where we put it at night so that when we put the baby to bed we don't accidentally start it singing and wake her up! It's nice that all of the Leap Frog toys have similar voices and that the characters look similar so that they become familiar to the baby who can recognize them easily now. I have always had great luck with Leap Frog toys, they are entertaining, educational, and economical.
...

I got this toy as a gift and thought it was just a small toy that may not be my sons best toy being a first time parent and not knowing enough about what babies like. I didn't start using it until I one day was looking for something small to go in the car. My son was then 4 months old. He totally loved it. My husband and I loved the fact that it was educating and also it was not noisy and annoying like some toys can be. He played with it for weeks to come when we had to go on an international travel. Now we took it with us knowing that it is one of his favorite toys and it is perfect for travel as it is small. We misplaced it and couldn't find for a couple of weeks when our son started playing with other stuff. One day we were looking for something and we found it. My son was then 6 months old. He totally loved it again. He is now 11 months old and still loves it to date. I would totally recommend this to any parent.
...

My son loved this toy. Leap frog toys are toys I would highly recommend to anyone. I personally buy them for friends who are having babies for the baby shower. I feel better giving a learning toy. This is one that is a favorite of mine. My son had to have this with him at all times. It was great in the stroller and the car. The nice thing is too it is a soft plush toy and I didn't have to worry about him getting hurt with it if I could not be by his side every minute. I love the fact that he could learn with leap around leap.

Learning Friend Tad makes learning fun as he musically introduces counting, colors and objects on his body. Squeeze him once to hear a counting 1-10 song. Squeeze him again to hear a song about colors and the objects on her shirt. Then with a simple press of his foot, you can switch all of his learning songs to Spanish! Press his foot again and switch back to English. This bilingual pal will be a friend for life!
...

Learn Along Leap sings the ABCs. Great fun for learning and entertaining my infants (through toddlerhood). Unfortunately my Leap has a hard time with Z and says "Zed" instead of "and Z" at the end. Still I highly recommend it for any child to help learn the letters of the alphabet. My two year old can recognize and say all the letters of the alphabet thanks to Leap Frog products!...

My mom bought this for my 6 month old son and it took him awhile to really get into it. We have a rule about toys in the house: Never purchase anything that can't be turned off. Don't get me wrong, the toy is fun, easy to understand, and baby loves the sing song voice of the boy speaking the ABCs, but after Leap's button has been pushed two dozen times, and I start having the ABC song play over and over in my dreams, well, I'm glad I can turn the toy off. It is a very durable toy and cleaning is easy. I've had mine for about 7 months. Zia is now 14 months old, and he enjoys playing with this toy a lot more. So I would recommend for a year or older child...
