granny2u says "Not bad for the size" about Lasko Ceramic Element

This heater was purchased in hopes of making a difference in my mother in laws small house. We have always purchased honeywell but could not find them at the time. This one is okay, I do not believe it heats as well as the honeywell we had before. The size is great but this just not put out as much as we think it should after having a different brand. On a positive side this one is still working this year, after a year of use last yr. If there was not any honeywell heaters to be found we would probably purchase this brand again, but maybe a bit bigger to see if it puts out more heat. Like the size and shape but just doesn't put out enough heat to suit my mother in law. This is kept in a bathroom and with the other brand it would heat right in to the open space of a kitchen combination living area and unfortunately this one just can not cut it. The price was a little steep also so again this is average and we would go back to a honeywell.
...

I is pretty quiet...and I like that this model tells you what the air temp in the room is prior to heating as well as during heating. Good safety feature of automatic shut off if bumped too hard or tipped. Wish it was a little more powerful.
...

vmhii says "excellent purchase made on quick decision" about Lasko Ceramic Element

I purchased mine nearly 3 years ago when i moved in to my new house and the furnace was not working and needed heat right away. It was inexpensinve and had mulitple features like a high and low setting along with ability to choose temperature ratings from 65 to 85 degrees in increments of 5 or a max setting. this allowe it to turn off once the desired temp was reached. It also had a oscillating feature as well. they have been very useful in heating up small spaces and do not notice an increase in my utility bill. I now mainly use mine at work since they have fixed the AC and it freezes me there i keep it under my desk set at 75 and if that gets to warm i can also lower it. Since its small enough not to take up to much space and keeping the settings low does not heat my computer or desk up and if it does get to warm i just lower the temp setting and keeps me very comfortable all day long. Mine works so well my coworker went and purchased her self one as well.
...

wellow says "Heats Your Space Within Minutes" about Lasko Ceramic Element

We've had this Lasko Ceramic Elements tower heater for about 3 years now, and so far we are very pleased with its' performance. This portable Lasko Ceramic Elements heater heats any room within minutes, and it also comes with the functions to raise or lower its' temperature. We've had to move it to various locations in our home, so the fact that it always stays cool to the touch (no matter how long it's been running) has been a very important asset. The Lasko Ceramic Elements heaters also oscillates to help spread the heat evenly through-out your space, and best of all it's very 'affordable', I think we paid less than $50.00 for it....
