LandsEnd.com is a good website, for those you have alot of money to spend on what looks like ordinary clothing. I have gone to their website even browsed their catalogs before and I must say that I am not very impressed. Their is nothing extravagant about their apparel. They do have a good selection of outerwear, but where I live this is not something that I have to have a great deal of. North Carolina doesn't get very cold during the winter, so snow apparel is not necessary. Also, I must be honest and tell you that I have seen some of their clothing at Roses, so they must not be selling them that well. The good thing about this though is that at Roses the clothing is very affordable, even the LandsEnd brands. I do like to look at the shoes in the catalog, but have never actually purchased a pair because they are way too expensive. I cannot say that I have ever ordered, so I do not know much about their customer service.

I don't usually shop online for clothing but when I do, I usually try to find web sites that offer clothing for both genders, as well as for children. One clothing store that offers all of the above is LandsEnd.com, a retailer for clothes and more.

Online Store Commentary:

LandsEnd.com is an online retailer that sells products with the Lands End label as well as products from other manufacturers. Like many other Lands End customers, I first became familiar with the Lands End brand many years ago when I would receive their catalogs in the mail. I still get the catalogs but more often than not, my purchases are now made via the internet.

LandsEnd.com has taken the place of the Lands End catalog for me and it rates as a good place to buy clothing online. I generally do not like to purchase clothing on the internet but LandsEnd.com has been a place I have been shopping lately because I happen to work for an employer that pays for articles of clothing purchased through Landsend.com...

Lands End has good quality clothes. However if you order something and it ends up on back order, CANCEL YOUR ORDER AND WAIT UNTIL ITS IN STOCK!

Lands End charged me for a backordered item before they shipped it. When I called them on their behavior Lands End said " oh we got busy with alot of orders and it was days later before we shipped your item." Then why did they charge me since they didnt ship the item until a couple of days later??!!

I think that is rude, unprofessional and I wont shop there again since they dont think they did anything wrong. There are other merchants out there who will treat their customers better than Lands End, especially in this economy!!

Lands End

I love coming to sears for Lands End products. I like the quality, price, size availablity. I like the looks of the clothing. Its a very modern look! I can come in and pick up a few items & I'm ready for work. I like clothes that are comfortable & easy to wear. Not clothes that if I'm sitting they wrinkle, or look like you have been sitting in them all day.

however I had a difficult time determining my shoe size for clogs - I ended up returning them to the local Lands End at Sears and exchanging for a smaller size....

I bought an electric blanket through Land's End because they touted it as being more comfortable than any other blanket out there, because the wires are smaller. What they failed to mention is that it took a very long time for this blanket to ever get up to temperature. I was willing to live with that (though not happily), but then one of the two controls failed. My husband offered to switch controls, since he doesn't often even turn the blanket on, but then two weeks later, in the midst of the worst cold Chicago has seen in my memory (-24!), the other control failed, leaving me with a worthless blanket. Then the control seemed to work again but the blanket wouldn't heat at all. I had to go out and buy a blanket, since I really couldn't wait even a few days to get a new one in the midst of the Arctic chill.

I called Land's End to find out how to return the blanket for credit, and they said that they don't handle electric blankets, that I would have to deal with the manufacturer. I asked...
