Their mascaras are fantastic. When you put it on, you dont even feel like you're wearing mascara. It is long lasting and seems to be waterproof. I will never go back to drug store mascaras! Lancome is definately worth the price tag!

When Lancome gave away millions of dollars worth of cosmetics to consumers in a legal settlement, I, a regular Lancome customer, came home with Cils Design Pro mascara. I can ALWAYS use mascara, I thought, so this is fine. This product is a two-step design, with a different type of mascara enclosed in each end of the cylinder. Step 1 defines and lengthens, Step 2 builds volume. Well, after Step 1, they had me. I never saw my lashes look like this. My daughter even teased me and said I would have to cut them shorter. But they product is soft and non-cakey, and it doesn't drop any flakes or get in my eyes. It also does not come off on my skin.

Now the bad news--I just paid over $35 to get another tube of Cils Design, and it is the last one I will have. Lancome has, stupidly, dropped the product. But if you want mascara that vibrates, you can find that.

Normally I do not use a great deal of makeup. However, being raised a "fine southern woman" I know that there are three things I should never leave the house without, smooth skin (via a foundation, my preference Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20) mascara and lipstick. I am currently using Lancome's Mascara in Classic Black and really don't want to turn back.

Lancome Mascara is thick and rich, even if I forget to take my make up off after working late at night, I don't wake up with raccoon eyes and most of the time I don't even get flakes. Thanks to the astounding brush that Lancome uses, the mascara spreads quickly and easily on each and every lash, not like some mascara's where you have to keep going over and over your lashes to get the desired length. There is no primer coat -- so it saves me time in the mornings, not like that last brand I tried.

With the Lancomes Mascara in Black, my lashes are long and sexy, making me feel sexy too. I don't even mind wearing my glasses...

My personal belief is that if I could only have one cosmetic, it would be mascara, I don't think any cosmetic makes as much of a difference in one's appearance as mascara does. The dramatic effect that Lancome Hypnose mascara gives is amazing. Long, thick, noticable lashes that last all day. I have had so many people make positive comments on my eyes when wearing Hypnose. Even without any other eye makeup, Hypnose still makes your eyes stand out. This is not for people looking for a subtle effect!

Between my sister and I, we have tried dozens and dozens of products (both drug store and department store brands) but none compare to this one!

The only negative aspects are the price (about $26 a tube) even though in my opinion it is worth the money, and the fact that it is not waterproof.

Overall, I have never found a beauty product that I was so impressed with!

Yep, that's right ladies. Vibrating mascara is here!! Actually Lancome's oscillates at 7000 revolutions per minute. I first heard about this mascara some months ago from a magazine article in which professional makeup artists were talking about it. At that time this brand had not yet been released and was being anticipated as the most exciting makeup product since the invention of lipstick! I was definately intrigued....

This mascara delivers what they claim it does. You can do light application for day wear or go dramatic for evening wear. It's applied by holding the wand at the base of your lashes, press/hold the button on the side and slowly move it up to the tip of the eyelash. You can even do a zig/zag motion to get more volume. It's a very unique and fun product.

The mascara itself is just ok in my opinion. I don't think the black is a rich black and it does wear down after a few hours. I believe that's because it's the applicator and not the mascara that creates the volume...

Lancome mascaras are always worth the price, in my opinion. I have never been disappointed though there are some formulas within the brand that I prefer above the others: L'Extreme, Hypnose, and Fatale. The latter, I would say, is definitely for advanced users of mascara. That is, women who wear mascara everyday and not just for special occasions. The company overall, that is L'Oreal Paris, produces quality products that have very little competition in their fields. Chanel, in my opinion, gives them a run for my money. They're a non-crappy version of Microsoft! The only competant drugstore equivalent is from its parent company, L'Oreal for divas on a budget. I can understand that Lancome prices can make some balk so I checked that off as a con....

I'll be honest. Sometimes I stay out late and end up having to wear the same mascara the next day. I have a ton of Lancome that's been given to me as gifts and everytime I wear it overnight, the stuff is flaking off into my eyes by morning. It probably has something to do with the fact that it's pretty clumpy and not very smooth coming out of the tube. It might thicken, but it doesn't lengthen....

Lancome Hypnose mascara is a great product! It makes your lashes voluminous, without any clumping. I have tried both high-end (Dior) and low-end (Maybelline) mascaras, and no other product gives the same look. It is pricier than most drugstore mascaras (about $20), but definitely worth every penny. I already have long eyelashes, and have found other types of mascara (even Lancome Definicils) made them look unnaturally long. Hypnose adds volume without adding too much length. Will continue to buy this product!

I started using Lancome about 3 years ago and I just feel in love, I was working at a job where I needed to look professional and a fellow co-worker recommened I try a free consultation and learn how to do my make-up. They had a free gift with purchase that included a sample of Definicils. I loved it so much-I bought a full size product when my sample was empty. The moment I appreciated it the most happened when I was in a bind and stopped at the drug store and picked up a cheap mascara. By the end of the day it had run under my eyes and it looked horrible. By the end of that week, I was at the mall picking up my favorite Lancome mascara which I knew would not fail me!!!...

Twelve years ago, I was going to California to meet my future in laws for the first time. When we got to the airport, I realized my carry on was not in the car so I had NO MAKEUP! It was still at my house on the table! After arriving in California I saw a commercial for Lancome that it was gift time. The gift included eyeshadow, eyeliner, lipstick, blush, makeup remover and the #1 mascara in the world with a $30 purchase, all I needed was base and powder. I made the purchase that changed my makeup habits forever. This really was the best mascara I have ever used. I have short straight lashes and they have never been my best feature, now I get compliments on my beautiful lashes all the time! This mascara is the best!!!

I am 47 yrs. old and have tried many mascara in my life time. My mom gave me a sample of Lancome and I was sold for life. I lose my way some times, not close to a mall and buy another brand but there isn't anything out there like Lancome mascara. Lancome isn't cheap but the quality is worth it. I've seen it mentioned on Morning show and Talks shows, all I can say is they are preaching to the choir. Lancome everyday all day thats my way!...
