I received a sample tube of this mascara with a Lancome purchase online, and I'm really satisfied with it. I have very short fine eyelashes, and after using an eyelash curler, this mascara defines and lenghtens my lashes. there is no clumping or flaking, giving it a higher rating than many mascaras out there. I put on two coats to get the coverage I like best. Thumbs up for this one!!

I got one as a GWP when I bought a Lancome lipstick and blush. I tried and LOVED it at once! Being a contacts wearer, I'm very picky when it comes to things I wear near my eyes. But this stuff's a HG for me. I even bought a full-sized when I came back.

This does not flake onto/into my cheek and eyes (LOVE) and tt looks so natural on me (my lashes are already pretty long though). It separates my lashes in stead of clumping them together like most mascaras do and it holds the curl ALL day!

Will have better results when paired with 'Cils Booster XL' (also from Lancome) which is a mascara base to give you more length if you have shorter lashes. I also got the as a GWP. It's a whitish type of cream that you coat on your lashes like mascara, underneath your regular mascara.

Though the results are not 'dramatic', it gives you a very nice, and natural look with the appearance of 'falsies' (some tell me). I wear this wih my nuetral colors everyday for work.

A little on the pricy side, though worth...

Started using Lancome back in 1985, I am quite familar with their products. I love their Cils Booster under the mascara -- it makes a HUGE impact, I still use it no matter what mascara I use -- I stick to their booster. I would drive over one hundred miles to get the 'Midnight BLUE' color; although they (Lancome) decided to discontinue making that color -- I bought them out last year in three malls, now I fear that ordering it would just be old mascara and dried up when I got it... so I switched to 'dark brown'.... The things we sacrifice for beauty. All in all it is a good quality mascara.

Okay, now, I am not someone who would usually pay $27 for mascara. In fact, I'm more someone who wouldn't even pay $7 for mascara. BUT, I have realized that I have spent much more money trying mascara after mascara in an attempt to find a product with the same quality as Lancome's Definicils mascara. I have medium length eyelashes on top and almost no bottom eyelashes, but this product makes my eyes stand out when I use it. It doesn't clump my lashes together, and it definitely makes them look longer and possibly fuller. I once used a single tube of this mascara for over 2 years because I was living in China and couldn't get it there. It actually lasted the entire time, though I didn't use it every day. I really have tried SEVERAL other brands of mascara, so I can say with lots of confidence that you aren't going to find something better on the market. Yes, you are paying for it to be better, but this is one case in which you won't be disappointed, and...in the end, it's...

If money is tight skimp on everything but the mascara---With this I can skip the eyeliner and the lash curler---I prefer the non waterproof--for me it actually stays on longer and doesn't give me any under eye resedue. I wear a lot of it starting at the lid---makes my lashes curl and looks like I have eyeliner on when I do not. I love it---favorite beautyy item.

I am really into beauty products, and I like trying new eye products because sometimes they can make your whole look great. My favorite new mascara is Lancome Definicils Mascara because it added a lot of definition to my lashes and created the perfect dramatic look. The color I chose was black and it went on without clumping and made my lashes look radiant. The mascara wand is easy to use and has a great angle so that every lash gets coated in the mascara. This mascara goes on smooth and doesn't clump the lashes, but does define them by adding length and volume. I really like how after the mascara is applied, my lashes curled. This mascara is long lasting and doesn't smudge or smear, even when I am outside all day. It is long lasting and keeps my eyes looking great and clump free. The mascara is a little expensive at about $25, but really high quality and it never irritated my eyes. I have contacts, so this works great and makes my lashes look amazing.

My former roommate always had perfect looking eyelashes, while I battled it out with the cheapest kind I could find. One day I broke down and asked her about the amazing mascara, to which she told me about Lancome Definicils. I immediately went out and bought it and have never strayed since. The mascara may cost $25, but it lasts 3 times longer than any other product I have tried.

People always comment about my eyelashes and how long they are. I don't think I am any different from other people, except for the brand of mascara I use. Not only do they lengthen the lashes, they separate them as well, to create a long, full look. I am a full-time worker and mother, so I need something that will last all day and not have to be constantly refreshed. I can count on Definicils to always give me a fresh look from 7 in the morning to 8 at night.

Additionally, I have tried the other Lacome mascara products, and they are just as solid. You can't go wrong with Lancome.

There is a reason why its called DEFINICILS. This amazing Lancome mascara DEFINES your lashes, each and every single one of them. I love using this on my bottom lashes, which are almost non existant without any mascara. It defines them beautifully without clumps or sticking. It also lengthens my top lashes and makes them very full and voluminous.

The first time I tried it I couldn't believe how easy it was to apply. No stuck together lashes. No black specks on my cheeks. No tissues, no q-tips, just longer, darker, refreshingly natural looking eyelashes. I stepped back from the mirror and was thrilled to see that my eyes looked subtly bigger, more pronounced, and more feminine, without appearing made up. If you want dramatic lashes you might be disappointed, but if you want people to notice your eyes rather than your make up, this is the perfect mascara.

I wear glasses so its really hard for people to see big eyes under my frames so I need eyes that stand out. This really does it for me!...

Each time I try to 'cut corners' with a different mascara I'm disappointed and keep coming back to this one. beginStays on long and doesn't clump up. Lancome Definicils Mascara is definately worth the price!

For those of you who buy your mascara at the drugstore or similar, the price of definicils may make you choke a little - but hold on! This is one mascara worth every single penny. Pair it up with their lash extender and you truly have super model eyes/eyelashes. I prefer the waterproof variety which keeps me from ending up with racoon eyes during a day at the pool/beach. Even on days when I'm going fairly au naturale ~ I still apply my definicils mascara and a touch of liner. Try it, you'll be addicted to having long, beautiful lashes!

I like to order it from the Lancome website because with every order, they send you great samples of other products to try out; many times they send you full size lipsticks and lip glosses in great colors! Now that I think about it, I first tried definicils as a sample years ago when I was ordering other products from the Lancome website. I would recommend this mascara to every woman - as that hair commercial says, you're worth it!

As a true make-up junkie, I've tried many brands and selections of mascara, always looking for the perfect mascara. Lamcome's Definicils is among my favorites. As a former contact lens wearer, finding a mascara that did not flake off into my eyes was paramount. I have always had great luck with Definicils. Among other great benefits, no clumping and no raccoon eyes, neither of which look good on anyone. While Lancome's Definicils maybe a little bit pricey, I am a true believer that sometimes you get what you pay for. In my humble opinion, Lancome Definicils is worth a little bit more because you get a better quality product.
