I have been on a quest for proper underarm protection since my underarms first produced an odor. Sprays, roll ons, sticks, deodorant, antiperspirant, you name it I have tried it. My friend included a few sticks of the Lady Speed Stick Wild Freesia in a gift bag that she gave me as I was moving to another city. I am not one to turn a gift down, but I had to re-gift this product. It has a very strong sweet candy like smell, that haunted me all day. Now, I love a good fragrance more than the next girl, but this was not good and it was far too strong. It clashed with my perfume, my lotion and it gave me a headache. I stopped short of taking a second shower because that would have made me late for work.

On the positive side, it did not irritate my underarms, and did not leave any white residue, and it kept me dry. But... the smell. No thanks. I would rather smell like I just came from a gym rather than Lady Speed Sticks verison of Freesia.

I purchased Lady Speed Stick Invisible Dry Wild Freesia antipersperant and deodorant because I liked the smell. I am a avid bicyclist and have used this before a long bike ride. I have found it not to work quite as well as I would like it to, but will keep it and use it for a lighter workout.

Lady Speed Stick has been a trusted brand for me for years so when I saw Lady Speed Stick Invisible Dry Wild Freesia Antiperspirant & Deodorant at the dollar store one day, I picked it up to try. Little did I know it would end up becoming a favorite product.

For starters, I really like the smell. It is sweet and floral--a light purpley smell--yet light enough to go unnoticed most of the day. The packaging is sturdy and easy to use--no twist bottom control falling off this container. The product itself appears to be nothing more than an ordinary solid deodorant, so I was surprised to find that the product does leave very little white residue. It is not as effective as a clear gel, but pretty good for a white solid, which I prefer to gels by far.
I am admittedly not a terribly sweaty person but I have not had any problems with this fading away or not working as some users have mentioned, even through hot days of walking for hours. I also have found that I can apply this almost immediately...

I have tried lady speed stick on several occassions and it never gets better. In the winter time I will use this when I only need a low level of protection. Sometimes it even wears off too quickly when its freezing out and I know I am not sweating.

The "no white marks left behind" types also do not work. They leave white residue and it does get all over your clothes.

They do come in nice, fresh scents...but thats about the only plus of the product.

I tried it agai today on a nice, pleasant day. It wore off and I had to reapply it within 4 hours and it still doesnt smell fresh.

A big thumbs down from me.

Lady Speed Stick is my favorite anti-perspirant. I've tried several of their fragrances with Freesia being one of my favorites. It's fresh, dry, doesn't feel sticky.

Lady speed stick not only is affordable but it helps keep you feeling fresh and dry. This is the only deodrant I have ever bought! I have tried others but I have not liked them as well as I have liked Lady Speed Stick.

I have used Dove, Secret, Degree and Lady speed stick. Out of these four deodorants Lady speed stick works the best for me. It covers my body odor with the actual smell of the deodorant. When I start to sweat, with all of the other doedorants I have used my body odor starts to mix with the deodorant and starts to smell musty. With Lady speed stick it doesn't! I always smell fresh, even in the morning when I wake up my under arms still smell nice. It's great! The only thing I would suggest, is put it on after you put your shirt on. It's not a clear deodorant so it will rub off on your shirt. Other then that, definately five stars!!

Lady Speed Stick smells great. It does leave some white residue occasionally, and the antiperspirant doesn't keep me from sweating. Overall it's not a bad choice for the price....

I think the lady speed stick smells great, works well and compared to some of the others - it cost ok. But if you don't get the one that says "black dress approved" you ARE going to have some white residue. It does really work though, so maybe on those days your not wearing your best black dress or skirt.....all in all as a mom, I like it.But as I said before if I'm going out out - then I wear the guaranteed not to show white....
