The LUSH Shimmy Shimmy Massage bar is heavenly. The scent is absolutely awesome and is a favorite of mine as well as my 7 year old daughter. It makes my skin feel silky soft without feeling greasy.

I LOVE LUSH, do not get me wrong. I got the shimmy shimmy in a Christmas package gift from Lush last year. This is the only one that went too far on the glitter. It was like a cake of glitter on my hands, nothing subtle about it. The scent was good, but not great. The consistancy was good, except for the feel of the glitter. There was so much of it, you could actually feel it!

I know that Lush handmakes their products so maybe I just got a batch with way too much glitter. I would be willing to try again. I ended up just breaking off small pieces and putting in in my bath cocktails like a melt. I still gave me a TON of glitter on my skin.

Quick View: I usually hate glitter but I was shopping on the LUSH website and decided to go crazy and get a glittery massage bar. It was so cute looking and sounded kind of neat. Although I only use the bar now and then, I like it. The shimmer/glitter isn't so over the top that it looks ridiculous and the scent is appealing. It will last me many months.

About LUSH Shimmy Shimmy Massage Bar

LUSH makes natural, handmade bath and body products. This is a white one ounce heart shaped bar with little pieces of pink and gold glitter/shimmer in it. It is made with cocoa butter and shea butter to moisturize the skin and with lavender, vanilla, and sage oil for scent.

The little bar comes wrapped in plastic. When I first tried it, it hurt! The glitter on one side of the bar was actually abrasive. And it left too much glitter on me. The second time, I took it much easier and used the other side of the bar. This time, my skin was moisturized, fragrant, and had little specks of glitter that only showed...
