I was plauged by acne and tired of reacting to chemical products. Angels on Bare Skin was my answer. It is an all natural, all gentle cleanser and exfoliator in one. My skin changes on a seasonal basis from oily to dry. Since Angels on Bare Skin is suitable for all skin types I can use it yearound. The lavender soothes redness and the almonds gently exfoliate. While Angels on Bare Skin is not a cure-all for problematic skin, it is a good soothing cleanser and exfoliate that is not likely to irritate your skin like harsh chemical products.

The price of this product is comprable to that of a drug-store cleaner, because you only need a small amount to do the job. There is a drawback to using an all-natural product, it has a short shelf-life of only three months, but I find it a worthwhile tradeoff to chemically based products that cause irritation or drying, thereby agrivating my skin and making the problem worse
...

I realy dont know much about this product at all but what I do know is that it looks gross. I refuse to use facial prouducts that look nasty and whatever that stuff is it looks gross. Although some of the nasty stuff works the best so if it worked im sure I used it. I realy wouldnt pay much attention to what i am writing though. The best way to know if something works is to try it yourself so go ahead and maybe I will too.

Try it
...

Great product! I love it!

Gently cleanses my very sensitive skin, leaving my face feeling so soft and wonderful!

Lush products can be expensive, but they're well worth it. I recommend trying one of their packs with a small amount of cleanser, toner, & moisturizer to see if you like it before buying full sized containers.

Also, because their products are natural, the shelf life is a bit shorter. We keep ours in the fridge and just keep a tiny container in the bathroom.
...

This is one of the LUSH products that I would be very hard pressed to ever give up. I have always been horrible about using facial cleansers on a regular basis, until I found Angels On Bare Skin. It was a bit of a challenge for me to use at first. I have found that using it in shower works much better for me since it is easier to rinse completely off. Nothing amuses hubby more than picking a stray bit of almond out of my hair. And being able to play with mud everyday is a plus for my inner 5 year old.

I have been using this for about a year and half now. Not only has it cut down on the number of blemishes that I see, but it has also evened out my facial tone. Before I started using it, I had an uneven coloring to my face. Not redness, but just different shading. I haven't found any other product that improved my skin like that. My face is also very sensitive to harsh cleansers and chemicals. No issues with this and it doesn't dry my face out.

If you live near a LUSH store...
...

The Verdict: After using this product daily for 2 weeks I can honestly say that I do not like it much at all and would not buy it. It didn't appear to do much for my skin at all and was hard to use.

Just the Facts: Angels on Bare Skin is a facial cleanser made by LUSH which is a company that makes interesting and unique natural bath and beauty products that are animal friendly and often completely vegan.

LUSH.com says the following about Angels on Bare Skin: Gentle cleansing and exfoliation Oily in some spots, dry in others? Angels on Bare Skin is ideal for most normal to combination skins. Based on a medieval skin care recipe, it gently cleanses and exfoliates with ground almonds, lavender oil and rose absolute. It smells divine and leaves your face bright, soft and smooth. Note: Due to the freshness of the ingredients used, this product has a shelf-life of three months.

On my last trip to my local LUSH store I was given a very generous sample of Angels on Bare Skin that lasted...
...

LUSH is a funny skin care company that is committed to producing small batches of fresh, handmade items that contain lots of natural ingredients. Sometimes their stuff is absolutely amazing while other times it is downright abysmal. This line is very hit-or-miss. While I don't totally hate their Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser, it isn't my absolute favorite facial cleanser. It's better than average but I don't know if I'd buy it again.

Angels on Bare Skin contains ground almonds, glycerin, water, clay, lavender oil, rose absolute, lavender flowers, and perfume. That's it. This facial cleanser is sold as a "slice" off of a giant roll. It looks a lot like white Play-Doh or colorless wasabi and has a strong lavender scent. This fresh product expires three months after the manufacture date. Unfortunately, I received my container via mail order and the label did not include either a manufacture or expiration date. I'm going to use 3 months from my order date as the projected...
...
