purduekel says "Best tanner I've found for fair skin." about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Towelettes

I was at my aunt's house the other day and noticed that she had a beautiful tan. I knew she was against tanning in the sun, so I asked her which tanning product she was using. She showed me this product and I've been using L'Oreal Subline Bronze Self-Tanning Towelettes twice a week every since. The product dries quickly and doesn't leave the greasy feeling that some of the gradual lotions do. The scent is also nothing compared to other products, you can even put lotion on over it once it dries if the scent bothers you. As some of the other reviews mentioned, yes it can wear off unevenly...but this will happen with all tanning products as your skin exfoliates unevenly. If you keep it up (~ twice a week) you will have a beautiful tan all summer!
...

Alohadreaming says "Awful experience with L'Oreal Sublime Bronze tanning towelettes!" about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Towelettes

I had an awful experience with L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Towelettes. My skin is very fair and this product left me with orange skin-not the look I was hoping for! I loved the fact that it's supposed to be an easy application, but the color was so bad I have to scrub it off my skin.
...

nicki2442 says "not worth the time or the price" about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Towelettes

Easier to apply than some of the other leading self tanners. These towelettes left streaks and was very uneven. The scent was strong and not pleasing. They are pretty expensive also for the amount that you get.
Now dont think I am the type of person that tries a product and then gives up if I hate the results. I actually tried these towelettes 3 times (in the spring) and then waited until mid summer and tried one more to see if I could spruce up my tan for a pool party. Both times that I used them I was sadly disappointed (and did not want to get into my swimsuit after I had weird streaks on my stomach, legs and back---and I had a tan already).

I would not recommend as they are very unreliable as a way to have a tan.
...

beautywiz says "Orange and patchy" about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Towelettes

easy application with the towels and not too bad of a smell, BUT it is an orange color rather than a brown or olive tone. It looks bad in natural outdoor light and can get a little streaky. It also comes off patchy. Only use this if you are naturally tanned. Very fair skin can not pull off these towels...for fair skin try fake bake or california tan. if you want something cheaper- jergens expressions
...

Although I am only 25% irish, it seems to be the most apparent part of my nationality; and with all the hype about tanning and its link to skin cancer, I have decided to stop tanning except for vacational purposes. However, as Im sure all of you know, who doesnt love to have a nice tan? Well these towelettes are by far one of my favorite products. You have to be a little careful when applying them and rubbing them in, sometimes ill lightly wipe around delicate areas, like my face hands and elbows, with a dry cloth after application- but i do love them and recommend them to anyone who needs a little color boost. warning- the first time you apply them, the color is fairly strong, so lets say you have a date or something- apply 2 days before, just to make sure you can get the right color.
...

L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Towelettes are extremely easy to use, and give you a lovely, natural-looking tan, without streaking. Also, they do not have the unpleasant smell of some self-tanners. This is the best self-tanning product I have ever used....

I have used these tanning sheets for several months now. I have never had a problem with any streaking or orange marks. These come right out of the package to be used on your skin. It is amazing that some quick rubbing and a few hours later I have wonderful color! They also make my skin feel very soft. The "tan" is not fake looking at all. I love this product....
