CLASYWOM says "L'Oreal Excellence Hair Color covers EXCELLENTLY and with SHINE!" about L'Oreal Excellence Triple Protection

L'Oreal Excellence I researched well before using at at home color. I always used the color recommended by my hair stylist. In order to cut back on expenses, I thought that I would try it myself. I noticed that many women that I work with had color that faded and hair that looked dry. I was concerned and hoped that it wouldnt happen to me.

After using L'Oreal Excellence, not only did it cover my gray/white hairs but it added shine all in one step. As I become accustomed to the right shade for me, I'm sure everything will work out fine. Thank you!

...

GigiandAdonai says "Excellence Creme #4 (dark brown/natural) turns back time." about L'Oreal Excellence Triple Protection

All right the next time I post pictures of myself you're going to be wondering what happened to me. I have dark brown almost black hair and at the insistence of my sister-in-law I got my hair highlighted professionally back in November. It wasn't just a highlight--it was three colors, highlights and low lights, the whole kit-n-kaboodle. Linda had to pay approximately $125 for this service. That's just a little too steep for this single girl's budget. I will admit I loved the color and the new hairstyle. I was turning heads everywhere I went and it was making me self-conscious. Everyone said it made the "cute" girl look more mature. Well, I like cute. As you get older--who cares about mature? We want to look young, right? My hair grows fast so in June I took the plunge (financially) and paid to have my hair highlighted again. This time my hairstylist only charged a mere $85 for two shades. Well, leading up to Labor Day my roots were starting to show and they are...
...

CloudNine says "the applicator rocks!" about L'Oreal Excellence Triple Protection

I used this product because it was on sale and i'd never tried it. I have no gray to cover.

I'm very pleased with this haircolor. the comb applicator makes the process so much easier! I usually worry that I've missed a spot on the back of my head. No worries with this stuff. I knew I'd gotten every strand. I also found less product got on my scalp with the comb applicator, which is kind of nice if you've got to be somewhere outside the house within a few days of coloring. The formula is nice and thick also. No drips. It's actually the cleanest my bathroom has looked after coloring. :)
The first step was interesting. A protective pre-color serum. Can't say i noticed a difference using it.
The gloves are great. I love the ones with real gloves in them!
The conditioner smells nice, too. They usually do, though.

The color, I can't quite rave about. Maybe it's my insane hair. My hair never comes close to the color on the box. I'm always rolling the dice with hair colors. But just once, I'd like......

kountrymsicfan says "Try L' Oreal Excellence to prevent dry hair after coloring" about L'Oreal Excellence Triple Protection

I have used several hair color products and I have finally found one that does not make my hair very dry after coloring. First you use a "protection" product for your dry ends before you even begin to color (I think you leave it on for a couple of minutes or so). Then you have the typical hair color treatment. But when you are finished they have also included a special conditioner in the kit which leaves my hair feeling and looking very healthy and moisturized. Thumbs up for this product! I use Maple Brown!...

bdh531 says "This product is the best I've tried for covering gray." about L'Oreal Excellence Triple Protection

I have tried lots, and I mean lots, of hair color in the last 40 years and have always found L'Oreal to be the best. The last time I colored my hair, I used this new triple protection formula and really loved it. The color is exactly the same as my natural color. It covered the gray much better and lasted about three weeks longer than any other color I have used in the past. I also love the conditioner that comes with this product. There is no dry straw like feeling, just softness and shine....

This hair color is great! I have sensitive skin, so I'm unable to use most hair color products.

I don't use anything else to color my hair. I color at home, and never worry about dripping or having an allergic reaction.

It covers my gray completely. The color always comes out looking natural.

It makes me feel good about myself- I look in the mirror and I feel younger and prettier.

I have short hair, if your hair is long your results may not be as good.
...

Love that it sticks to my hair, all of it with one container. You mix the color with the cream toner in the container and then apply to hair. I do roots all over, then comb it through my hair to cure the too light areas in the summer of my golden blonde hair. I do not look at platinum as a blonde as it is grey to me. Great that the color sticks to the hair & can be moved through it easily. Covers Grey nicely too.

$9 a bottle at KMart, Walgreens, WalMart, and it has a good conditioner to it but I can find cheaper products such as Garnier Nutrise for $7 a bottle & it is L'Oreal also, and Revlon for $3 a bottle & it is just as good.
...

I use L'oreal Excellence light auburn and I've always gotten a lot of complements on my hair color. Sometimes red hair coloring looks fake but this is a rich, true shade. It's also very easy to use. I do wish the color would last longer or that L'oreal would come up with a matching root touch up kit....
