flbeachchic says "Loreal Double Extend delivers long, full, beautiful eyelashes!" about L'Oreal Double Extend tube technology

I bought loreal's Double Extend Mascara last Halloween to replace the uncomfortable fake eyelashes for a party I was attending, thinking they would add a little length. I was amazed by the volume and length I received from it. It is very easy to put on, like any other mascara, but totally different from any mascara I have tried before. I have very sensitive eyes and have to be careful what I buy, this product did not bother my eyes at all. I was surprised by the price, kinda high, I paid 10$ at my local Walmart, but if you want beautiful lashes it is very well worth it. I bought it originally just to add to my costume, but after I seen how great it works..I dont leave the house without it on, and will never buy any other mascara. It adds tips to your own lashes making them look gorgeous. There is no clumping and no mess. It washes away very easy with just water.

My husband and daughter noticed my lashes right away, thats how well it works. I have told all my girlfriends about it and...
...

kimergency says "Not the one" about L'Oreal Double Extend tube technology

I have been on a search for the perfect mascara for a while now. I bought Loreal Double extend because it was on sale. This was not the mascara I have bene looking for. The "white" end does not seem to do anything. The mascara end made my lashes longer, but not fuller. Actually because it is double ended, you actually get less mascara. I was not impressed with this mascara and think it is just bulky and uneccessary. I guess I will continue to search for the perfect mascara and hopefully can find a Loreal one I really like.
...

Monicaime says "L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Mascara will pull your lashes off!" about L'Oreal Double Extend tube technology

L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Mascara sounds too good to be true and in my case it is. Let's start with the pros. The price is not bad, very much in line with their other mascaras. The application is not complicates, just one and two and it does what it promises: to extend your lashes to the point they can look like store bought lashes. On the other hand, to me, the cons are far greater than the pros. The first step, where u coat the lashes with the tube technology is the dangerous one; the product is goopy and when applied it will need the help of several of your lashes stuck together to create the lengthening effect so you'll appear like you have less lashes. Plus it's not volumizing at all. Then you put on the color and the brush will sweep of a some off the previous product, but you can't wait for step one to dry or the lashes will look clumpy. But the worst part is when you wash it off, OMG, you'll pull some of your lashes out. So if you already bought it use only for rare special occasions...
...

roxygirlie1021 says "The L'Oreal Double Extend doesn't give a very natural look" about L'Oreal Double Extend tube technology

I tried the L'Oreal Double Extend mascara a few months ago, and was disappointed in the performance of the mascara. I like a mascara to look as natural as possible, and I did not feel that the L'Oreal Double Extend mascara did that. While the mascara did make my lashes appear longer and fuller, it gave them a fake look to me. It was also a hassle to have to apply two different ends of the mascara tube. And when it came time to wash off the L'Oreal Double Extend mascara, it was very hard to get the tubes to come off. Even after washing my face, the mascara tubes were still stuck to my eyelashes in many places.
...

jonbonjovious says "L'Oreal Double Extend tube mascara is complicated w/ li'l result" about L'Oreal Double Extend tube technology

Okay, who doesn't dream of having long, luscious lashes? I do! So when I saw this product, it appealed to the mascara junkie inside me. I bought it, though it was steep at $10.49. Oh, bother was this not worth the purchase.

Let's start with the application....COMPLICATED and TIME CONSUMING. First, you have to put on the conditioner...I kid you not, it looks and feels like Elmer's School Glue...ick! After that step is complete, you turn the tube over and use the black (or preferred color) to cover the "glue".

My eyelashes clumped. They were longer, granted, but even a heated needle wouldn't separate my lashes! As the day wore on, my eyelashes looked like I had tiny spiders dangling from my lashes. It was a mess.

This product will lengthen your lashes, but it's so not worth the process of application and the "spiders" that come as the day wears on.

Removing it was a longer than usual process as well. It does come off in tubes, but it takes a lot of effort to get them all off.

slewis169 says "L'Oreal Double Extend tube technology is great!" about L'Oreal Double Extend tube technology

L'Oreal Double Extend tube technology mascara is my new favorite mascara. I like it better than similar products that cost considerably more money. This mascara is easy to apply, and it gives great length and more fullness, all without clumping. There's a white primer layer with its own brush, and then the final layer in brown or black, all in one tube. You can just use the second layer alone, if you want a little less length for a more casual look. It's amazingly easy to remove, too, just using water. There's no need for eye makeup remover, or any rubbing or pulling. You just hold a wet cloth to your eyes for a moment, and it slides right off your lashes. So no more stinging from makeup remover getting in your eyes, and no more uncomfortable rubbing. Even though it's so easy to remove, I've been out in light rain without having it come off. It even stays on when you cry a bit, as long as you don't rub your eyes. It's really a great product, at a good price.
...

luckysocks says "This is the best va-va-voom mascara I have ever used!" about L'Oreal Double Extend tube technology

I have always shied away from two-step mascara systems because (a) they take too long and (b) they're not worth the extra effort. I am very happy to report that the L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara has single-handedly changed my tune! I have light colored, short, spikey natural lashes. Cute for a tomboy, not so cute for a wanna-be sex pot, right? This mascara makes my lashes nearly twice as long and nice and curly. I wear glasses, and sometimes I can feel my new long lashes brushing up against my lenses. That has NEVER happened before!

Okay, so the low down on applying it:

You start with the first step, which is a white primer. Pretty straightforward. You follow that up with the black end that gives you the gorgeous lashes. The wand is pretty short, which can be tricky to get used to, but I still say it's worth it. Plus, that's usually true of all the two-step mascaras. Otherwise, you'd end up with a tube of mascara that is WAY too long to conveniently...
...
