LG VU is a great phone, but doesnt have many apps like the I phone does. You can watch TV but you have to pay for that, it has MEdia net, texting, cellular video, and games. Touch- screen texing is kind of easy once you get used to eat, but since its touchscreen, sometimes if you have trouble texting with the keyboard, the texting touch screen keyboard is an average size (the letters). It has a lock button on the side, and a button on the side also, where you press it so the camera comes up. Also has a button on the side so you can change the volume up or down when you are talking to the person. It has good signal, and takes pictures quick. You can change the background, and put ringtones ID for your contacts. Its from ATT. You can;t see the screen in daylight, and you can also put the phone vibrate. Also has IM calendar , calculator etc. You are able to take videos, and send multimedia messages. Also youc anc heck your emaail ( if you have a service/feature for it) and LG VU is very cheap....
...

I've had this phone for one year and I honestly can't wait until I get an upgrade.

The QWERTY keyboard is alright for texting (thank God I have small fingers), the Internet is mediocre, and I do enjoy the video camera and mobile email features.

Other than that, this phone is a total bust and it's all because of the darn touch screen.

When you call any type of support hot-line which has numeric menus, you have to actually unlock your phone to select these menus. Example: I don't have a landline and this is my only phone, so if I have to call Discover Card to ask about my statement, I have to put it on speaker since I'm always having to touch the screen. Although you should never use your cell phone whilst driving, there is absolutly NO SAFE WAY you can use this one without getting into a serious car accident. Never, EVER use this phone while behind the wheel.

Sometimes, the minute I unlock the screen and answer the phone, my cheek will select my voicemail and take me away from...
...

I got the lg vu earlier this in may its a very light phone to carry and is a nice color but there are some problems with it,like sometimes when you try to click something you click the wrong thing, like when you go on the internet you try to click something but it wont click it you will be clicking it for a couple of time before you get it right, also if you are a texter (like me)you probaly wouldnt like this phone to text ,you have a choice to text full keyboard or regular phone texting but the hard thing about it is that its touch screen and you might get tired of always having to use the touch screen, but besides those things that are wrong its a good phone it includes a t.v. an MP3 player that has really good sound to it(it goes louder than the sidekick08)it also includes the internet which has 3G so it goes really fast it has mobile internet and IM and oh don't let me forget that this phone takes clean...
...

The LG VU is a great phone. It has a touchscreen that you can use as a normal keypad or switch and use it as a full keyboard. The touchscreen is a little tricky and hard to get used to at first but once you get the hang of it, it is great. Its easy to text, the speakerphone works great. The web browsing is very easy to navigate and it saves your previous websites so you can get to them with just one click. It is pretty fast too. The pictures aren't that great, they can turn out a little grainy and you have to make sure you have plenty of light or you won't be able to see them very well. The sound quality is very good, I never have trouble hearing anyone on a call. There is quite a bit of memory for ringtones, saved pictures and games. It comes with a trial of several games but they aren't very good. All in all its a great quality phone, and I haven't had any problems with it and I've had it for a year.
...

I was not sure about this phone when I first got it. It is the first touch screen I have ever owned myself, though I have used one before. The touch screen does take some getting use to, but it works well.

I have found that when you talk you need to be careful and make sure the phone is locked, if it's not you can hit buttons while your talking and annoy the other person, you don't hear a thing.

Another problem I have had is that when you view things online it doesn't always show everything and you can't shrink the web pages to fit the view, this may be something that needs to be done on the website end and not a problem with the phone.

I have not used the TV feature as it's not available in my area. Eventually I plan to as I just love the idea of being able to watch TV on my phone.

The sound quality is good, I do wish it had a way to make songs into ring tones like one phone I had did. All of my family members have this phone and it would be nice to have extra options.

The camera works...
...

vanessanicole09 says "LG Vu It is an amazing phone, but some things can be improved." about LG - Vu Cell Phone

The items I am reviewing is the LG Vu CU920. This is a great phone, it has a lot of features. This phone come with a touchscreen keyboard, which is very handy. I like the leight weight, and how it is easy to fit in my pocket. I also like the style of the phone. But there are something that can be improved, for instance, the phone will not detect my memory card. I have tried everything to get the memory card to work, I have even talked to the retail store from where I bought it from. Another thing that could be fixed is the touchscreen keyboard, its great but the letters are small. So when I am texting, I am accidently hitting the wrong number. The letter keys good have a little bit of bigger space so when texting I will not hit the wrong letter. Last thing is the battery life does not last long; if I let my phone charge all night, then use the phone to call, text, listen to music or TV it will only last a couple of hours. I love this phone though, by far it is the most amazing...
...

A year ago I decided to upgrade my phone and I searched and asked others what that thought to be a good phone. I had noticed that several people had the LG VU cu920 so I thought maybe this is the phone to get everybody seemed to be happy with it. But they them selves were new to it as well. Well having this phone for some time now It is not one i would recomend to anyone. Everytime i get a call and i have a voice message it will cut off my caller and go straight to my voicemail. So i even left a voicemail for no one to leave me a message because my phone gets to acting up with it. I can never seem to get it to go to the screen it needs to go on and when i hit a button it goes to something else. when in my voicemail and i push a number it calls someone on speed dial. I have had nothing but trouble with this phone, I will never buy one again. But i have another year till I can up grade so i am stuck with it. so make sure you really check out what you are buying before you get left with a...
...

this is the best phone ever. i love it. the touch screen has good feedback so i can know wen i have touched somthing. it also has different types of faceplates that are really awesome. i don't have it but my cousin's mother does and its really great. the camera has awesome quality and watching tv is a breeze. the lg vu dominates the iphone i think, because it's not glass so it won't break easily, and its not covered with apps like the iphone either. i've also heard that the iphone overheats so i know that i'm definetly not getting that.also whats also great about it is that its touch screen and normally a touch screen phone would be the last phone on my mind but my friend was switching to at&t from t-mobile and she was getting the lg xenon so i figured. what the heck, i might as well get a touch screen too. so far im reall happy with it and i would highly reccomend it especially to people who have the iphone cuz wen that phone breaks down you dont blame me.
...

This is my review of the LG VU CU920 phone, which I bought from AT&T with a 2 year plan for my business & personal use.

I guess you could call this a psuedo "smart" phone (wannabe iPhone...as close as you might be able to get for the cost). It's the first phone I bought that has a full HTML browser, camera, and large display touch screen.

The phone is a very sleek, candybar style shape in a glossy piano black finish. Some folks thought that the phone was slippery and felt cheap. Even though the phone's case is mostly plastic, I'd have to strongly disagree. The weight of the phone is significant enough to know that you have it in your pocket, and it feels comfortable in my hands, it was a bit slick at first, but once you get used to holding it, it becomes more comfortable and familiar.

As for rugged-ness/durabily, I'd say it's a tough model. As a klutz, I can testify to dropping tons of crap. I've dropped this phone about 4 times since I got it (two of those times, it was on hard...
...
