i just got my LG EnV-2 phone from Verizon Wireless and I like it! It features a flip to a qwerty keyboard making texing my husband's (company provided) blackberry much easier. This keypad is small, definitely a learning curve to hit the keys that you want and not the ones you don't but they are fairly easy to tap for a message. The front keypad is also easy to use. there are quick keys on both the front and inside pads to directly get you to your contacts or to a text message (and on the inside you can customize your quick links, so i also added my calculator since i like to comparison shop at the grocery store.

There is a 2.0 megapixel camera which seems easy to use although the front view screen is small for seeing the photo being taken. I've emailed one picture to my computer and it is not blurry and has good resolution for viewing enlarged.

the downside to this phone is the weight; at 4.3+ oz. it is heavier than my old flip phone. but, the advantage of easier texting outweighs...
...

nejordan says "Would be a great phone if multiple replacements weren't needed" about LG - env 2 Cell Phone

This phone is initialy very good, however I have had to get it replaced two times, and even a large function on my third replacement broke. The good thing about the phone is the full qwerty key board, and the buttons are pretty large, complared to blackberries and other phones with qwerty key boards. There is an outside, with a regular number style key pad which can be used to dial or even to text message. Although the from screen is very small, there you can still read text messages, and perform other things on the front(however, my front key board broke so I don't remember all of the functions of the front). When opened up, the screen is very large and can display a picture you took on the phone. It is easy to text message because the buttons are big and it is not hard to use symbols like question marks and periods. Sound comes out very clearly on both the outside speaker(non speaker phone), and also on the speaker phone as well. The first env 2 I owned, the outside speaker broke shortly...
...

i honestly love my env2. the price was fairly steep though. i paid over 400 dollars for it when i bought it. verizon gets you on the price though because although they say it has all kinds of kool features what they dont tell you is they will nickel and dime you to death to use them. i actually had to upgrade my plan to keep from getting huge bills since the screen lock on the phone sometimes unlocks in my pocket. i still cannot recieve flix messages without being charged an arm and a leg. the phone also includes blue tooth compatability but does not include a blue tooth without paying 100 bucks extra ( money i was not willing to fork over). it also does include, at a price, moble email, web (which is not like traditional internet), instant messanger, and applications stores. just about everything you do on the phone besides calls and texts uses megabites so buyer beware they will charger you $1.99 per mega bite usage ontop of the app fee, which i did not realize until a 300...
...

The env 2 is a great, sleek, and convienent design. The keyboard is easy to use, even for a novice at texting and replying to incoming text. It is also very easy to add or subtract contacts to my address book. Reviewing recent calls, missed, received, and dialed numbers is also a very nice feature. It is always nice to have a camera available to record family , freinds, and unusual situations that are presented on a daily basis. The Camera is also convienient when shopping and you need a second opinion. You can send a picture to a friend or family member and get a second opinion, thus saving time and avoiding having to return an unwanted item. The env 2 gives you easy access to your speakerphone. You simply open the phone and the speakerphone is automatically activated. Close the phone and continue a private conversation. The env 2 also has a convenient keyboard locking feature that activates after each use.
...

the lg env 2 cell phone is a great phone beacuse it has many features that makes it unqiue. the qwerty key board is wonderful for frequent texters, and the navigation app. is great in case for directionsif you ever become lost . the web browser works well and is convient. this phone is excellent! it also has many accessories to add that are cute! the camera works wells and takes the pictures very easy. the timin for the camera is on time and there is no delay. the speaker phone is very easy to use while driving. the video camera works well. the memory on the phone is big enough to hold at least six videos. the cons of this phone is that the front screen is very small and hard to read. the .front keyboard has an odd shape and a weird button for the vcast music. if you do not use that button it is usless. another con to this cell phone is that the sliver accent lining can be scratched very easily. this phone is great!
...

The EnV 2 is a good phone. It has done everything I ever needed it to. I love it because it has a QWERTY keyboard and a regular keypad on the front. This makes it easy to send a quick reply and easy to call other people. This phone is great for keeping in touch with family and friends and sending a quick text or even having a lengthy text conversation. It was easy to text out of sight of teachers with this phone. When talking on this phone it was hard to hear people when either you or they were in a noisy location. And the phone had a nasty habit of picking up all outside noise in the users location. The only problem I had with this phone was its tendency to call people all on its own. It has a very sensitive front keypad and hitting the OK button twice deactivated the keypad lock. Once the lock was deactivated, all it took was the bump of a button to call my speed dial contacts and contacts from my contacts list. It also dialed random numbers a lot. But overall...
...

The EnV 2 is my third phone and I love it. While at first I was not attracted to it, it has grown on me. I was turned away by the front of the phone. It has a really ugly small screen on the front that I didn't like. I do however love that it flips open to a larger screen and keyboard. This makes up for the small screen because I flip it open to text more than using the front anyway. I like that one can text without flipping it open also, which is convenient. I have been using this phone for about a year now and have not had any technical problems with it. The battery life is still fairly good. I love that it is a maroon color instead of generic silver or black. The paint also has not chipped away at all. One bad part of having the open faced phone is that it has butt dialed before. I checked my phone when I got home and realized it called three people for a couple minutes each. I was not too happy about that. The "lock" on the keyboard is apparently easy to "unlock".
...

I chose the Env2 because I wanted a QWERTY keyboard and didn't want to spend a lot of money. I don't use my phone for much besides phone calls and texting. I was never much of a texter before I bought this phone but now I text constantly. I have never had any trouble with the phone in the year that I have had it. Its relatively durable. I have dropped it a few times and generally cary it in my pocket at all times and have had no problems. I would suggest getting a case or cover as the paint chips rather easily.

I have used the internet capabilities only a handful of times. It is slow but gets the job done for a quick search when needed. Not for casual browsing but handy in a jam.

The camera is actually pretty good. I have taken pictures at sporting events, on vacation, and just at random. They have all come out well. There isn't much in the line of zoom and there is no flash but for indoor or daytime shots that aren't at too great a distance its a pretty nice, as far as cell phone...
...

The env2 comes in two colors liked to see it in green, anyway I like this phone it makes it so very easy to text. I like the quality of the pictures I took to send to family. I was not happy with that fact that it hesitates to take the picture for a few seconds though. I love that fact that if I call my deaf, mute sister in law that with this phone I can communicate with her. The music quality is loud and clear when listening and the long life of the battery between charging is phenominal. It's great that no matter where I am at I can check my email, send text messages and picture messages to friends. The volume on this phone is loud enough to hear outside the car with the window rolled up It is easy to transfer music and pictures from the env2 to my computer. I love being able to take video with this phone at hockey games and my childrens school events. Downloading apps to be able to play a wide variety of games no matter where you are is so awesome. The only thing that I think would...
...

Pinacoladapop says "LG EnV2 VX9100: One look, many functions" about LG - env 2 Cell Phone

The EnV2 is adorable. It fits perfectly in the hand and has a very classy appearance. It opens up easily to reveal an easy to use screen. It has dual screens and keyboards so you can make calls or text from either one. It also has a decent set of speakers inside that play music clearly. On its side is a slot for a memory card to hold songs because this phone can also be used as an MP3 player. On the back of it is the 2.0 megapixel camera which comes in handy when you've forgotten your camera at home. It has a variety of other features such as speakerphone, tip calculator, bluetooth, mobile messenger, etc. It is a fun phone to explore.

On the downside, the camera does not take quality pictures. But that isn't really its main feature anyway. Also, the headphone jack is not standard, so you must buy smaller then standard headphones to fit it. The battery life is just okay, don't talk on it for too long because you don't get a long enough warning before your phone dies! It may not be the fanciest...
...
