The LG washer is one of the best investments I have made. I have washed 19 large towels in one load. washing does take longer than a regular washer but you are washing at least 2 loads at once. Spins very dry. sometimes it is loud when it starts to spin but it settles out. i love mine.

This washer not only washes your clothes better, it waves water and time. You can wash two loads in this washer compared to a regular one. I love all the features and settings that this washer has to offer. There is a deep clean cycle along with a gentle cycle and permanent press to boot. This washer washes clothes differently than a traditional washer and your clothes do not sit in a tub of dirty water like traditional washers. It is amazing and your clothes are fresha nd clean. I love this washer.

Before you buy this washing machine read this:

In January 2008, MURRAY, FRANK & SAILER LLP, on behalf of consumers who purchased LG front loading washing machines, filed a class action lawsuit against LG Electronics USA, Inc. ("LG") alleging that LG's front loading washing machines contain serious design defects. These design defects cause, among other things, to (a) accumulate mold and mildew and/or residue or growth within these washing machines, (b) produce a moldy odor that permeates consumers' homes, (c) produce a mold or mildew odor on washed clothes, (d) fail to clean these machines and remove moisture, residue and growth that lead to the formation of mold, mildew or/or associated odors; and (e) be unusable in the manner, to the extent to, and for the purpose for which, these LG washing machines were advertised, marketed, and sold.

CASE UPDATE: On February 3, 2009, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey denied LG's motion to dismiss the claims asserted...

LG WM2277H Stainless Steel Front Load Washer : Well, ours is not stainless, but its a Midnight Blue. Nevertheless, it was one of the best investements we made. It saves on water, is good for your clothes, and spins better than the ride at the fair!! HA! The spinning action gets so much water out of your clothes, it cuts down on drying time. The matching dryer is great too. This washer.....................is WONDERFUL!! Even having to use the HE detergent (which you dont need much) one bottle lasts us over a month. And I wash at least twice a week for three people....

Great capacity, easy to work with and best of all.... looks great!!!!! I'm a busy mom and was looking for a BIG capacity washer and wanted a stainless steel one so it will match my home's decoration. This washer is amazing, you can load a lot of stuff, is really easy to program, has several cycle combinations so you can always be sure you are protecting your clothes. Love the front load option because it allows "my little helpers" to help me....

I love this washer. I have a 4 year old who gets into messy situations every day. This washer cleans even the most set in stains. My clothes look wonderful!!

It is a front loading High Efficiency washer. That means it should only be used with HE detergents, and will use far less water than traditional washers.

This model has 7 different cycles, including a sanitary cycle which I understand can take up to two hours (for extremely soiled clothing). I have yet to use the sanitary cycle.

I have mainly used the Cotton/Normal, Permanent Press, and Delicates cycles. Some have claimed that the wash cycles are considerably longer than on traditional washers. I haven't found these cycles to be too much longer.

The LG Washer does come with extra options, such as extra water, extra rinse, spin speed, and (for select cycles) the ability to adjust water temperature. So far I have not needed these options, as the default settings seem to work just fine.
