Wow, this is a great phone. I have to say though that I have not used all the features available. I believe a phone should be used as a phone and not a laptop - however - recently I have begun to change my views when it comes to these devices. I started texting. And true, a qwerty keyboard would be better - but the user friendly keys made the transition pretty painless.

Sound quality is great - both on my side and from what friends have told me, on their side also. Connectivity is good. Camera takes good pictures, as does the video recorder. All the standard tools, calculator, stop watch, calendar, Bluetooth, voice dial, etc. Very good battery life.

Music player rocks. Many times I've turned shuffle on and let it play for hours while I worked around the job site. The speakers are on the back and are loud enough that I hear it from different rooms I'm working in. I do wish the headphone jack gave stereo output - as I'd like to use it for my mp3 player hooked to my car stereo.

The (Verizon carrier) LG VX8350 cell phone is a standard camera flip-phone with alpha-numeric keys. It is slightly smaller and lighter than the Samsung A950, and for its price, it is a better phone. The camera is 1.3 megapixels, and pictures can be brightened or darkened before taking them, and cropped and enlargened (with its zoom feature) after taking them.

It can carry a 2 GB micro SD card, which help expands its memory for text messages (to over 100 messages in the inbox) and pictures. It also carries more default pictures (for wallpaper background and foreground) and ringtones than the Samsung. Battery life depends on how active you use the phone, just like other cell phones, but generally lasts about 2-3 days before needing to be recharged; and similar to comparable phones, its camera can be activated while the phone is in folded-position.

All in all, it's an above-average phone for its style and make.

Although its not a techincal phone, for a beginner or someone just needing the basics. This LG phone is a great chose. Offering a well built phone thats not to bulky. As with most LG phones, its a year and a half old. The battery still charges and holds a charge like new. I've had no techincal or warranty issues with this phone or the last LG phone I owned. No lost calls over this phones lifetime including long distance. Roughly ten hours a week this phone is used as a hand held gaming device, the device is comfortable enough to be used like this for several hours. Once again with great battery life. The event saving option in the calender file is also great. Although this phone doesn't claim to be an organizer using this option makes it one to me. Being able to store an extensive contact list to a card is also a great help for people who use it as a business phone, well at the same time being able to send pix, flix, and txt.

The LG VX8350 Red cellphone is a great cell phone for someone who will be using it daily, causing a lot of wear and tear to the phone. It includes great features such as bluetooth compatibility, text messaging, mobile web browser, VCast Music, and so much more. I've had this phone for over two years and i've only had to replace it once. A common place that I store my phone is my back pocket and I often sit on it without even thinking. After about a year and a half of this, the hinge on the phone broke. However, the phone still worked with a broken hinge for two entire months! When I finally got to the store to replace the phone, I only had to pay fifty dollars for it and I didn't even have a warrenty. This phone is definitely a great value and it can withstand damaging daily use for quite a long time. Although it is just your basic flip phone, it still comes with many of the high tech features you need. I hope to hold onto this phone until I break the hinge again =)

I don't know if it Verizon or my phone but my roommate gets good reception here but I seem to have trouble and we are both Verizon. I love flip phones and the color is cool....

We did a little research before we bought our new cellphones. For the last 5 or so years we have been avid Nokia fans, but our phone company wasn't offering any Nokia phones at the time that we needed to upgrade. After speaking with several reps and reading customer reviews online, we decided that LG was the best brand after Nokia, and that the LG VX8350 would be our phone of choice. We liked it's nice small size, and it seemed to be well-made, seemed durable. It also had several features that we like, including internet access, a calendar, voice-dialing, a pretty good camera, and a music player. We've had these phones for almost two years now, and I've dropped mine several times and have yet to have any problems with it. For the price, the LG VX8350 was a GREAT buy!...

This phone is very good. It takes good messages. It does not freeze up. I would recommend getting this as your starter phone for teenagers. . . . .its cute and easy to use....

This is a cool phone because you can save sounds as ringtones. I love the picture quality, and memory expansion capabilities that the phone has. I bought a mini sd card, and AWAy i went!!! i have tons of music i can listen to while i am in the tanning bed. great phone....

LG VX-8350 is a great phone especially if you are a Verizon user. This is one of the few phones on their betwork where yu can download free ringtones.

The phone has a great battery life, an easy to navigate menu, and makes texting easy with the word function
