I use this phone for work and like having the option of a wired headset (Bluetooth is available, but not practical for my particular line of work). I have emailed myself ringtones and have set up different ring tones for different types of callers. I don't need internet access on my phone, but you CAN access the internet on this phone.

I had the LG VX8300 phone for about 2 years and really enjoyed having it as my cell phone. It's not a bulky cell phone like a lot of the newer types of phones and was very durable. I probably dropped my phone at like 2 or 3 times a day and after two years it still was working and that is even after it fell in the sink a couple of times.

I has a pretty good camera that also takes video and in my opinion is a very underestimated phone. Texting is pretty basic, but I found the keys on the keypad a lot easier to type with than with my past phones. Calls are pretty standard, but the VX8300 had much better call quality than the previous phones that I have had.

If you're a person who beats up your phones pretty bad, then this may be the phone for you. It took a lot of drops, spills, and all of the above from me, but still kept working even to the time of my next upgrade. I recommend this phone and still have it just in case I want to switch back.

The item I am writing about is the VX8300 from LG for Verizon Wireless. This camera phone has 1.3 mega pixels and a flash. It shows what you are taking a picture of on both the external and internal screen. The VX8300 has a speakerphone, and one touch dialing. It is a flip style phone. The battery life lasts about 9-10 hours, with heavy usage. Light usage may make the battery last a day or two. This phone has video and a camcorder. You can record and save videos at varieties of legnths, depending on how much memory you have on the phone. You can buy memory cards and have alot more memory to save ringtones, sounds, videos and pictures. You can buy games for this phone to. It has music ID, which happens to be very convieniant to many people. You can download games and many other items to this mobile phone.It has mp3 capability and you can work it from the external or internal screen! You don't have to have your phone flipped open to listen to your music! Overall I think this phone is great...

this has beem my favorite phone that i've eveer owned. the LG vx8300 is quick to type on with the predictive text and loads quickly. it also has a sound "save" feature so you can download your own ringtones and save them (without paying!)

I have had this phone for almost 2 years and have dropped it in mud puddles while playing with my 2 dogs, have dropped it onto hardwood floors a few times and the phone still gives me little or no trouble. I do have problems with getting signal in any metal shell building and the charger had to be replaced after 1 year. Other than that, I am reasonably satisfied with my LG VX8300 for the way I use it. BTW, if you are used to a good quality digital camera, don't bother with pictures from this phone....

Even though it is not as fancy as many of the other cell phones that are out. This phone is durable, great sound, and no matter where I am I always have a signal....

i've had this phone for about a year and a half already. it seems like all of my friends are always complaining saying something is wrong with their phone and they end up getting it replaced. this phone is good though. i have never had to get it replaced and it has never given me any problems...

Got it for the right price, right plan, right reception for my area. It works for me, and plays music, so I don't have to succumb to an IPOD yet....

I've had this phone for 2 years and I love it. It's got some problems because I've dropped it way too many times and it sat in a pool of apple juice, but it still works like a charm. I'm planning on getting a new phone but I find it hard to give it up....
