I have a mixed opinion of this phone. It looks decent enough, but the screen gets scratched very easily. I am forever missing phone calls because even on the highest setting, you can never hear it. I do like the quality of the camera and the screen, but I have an 11 month old and the delay on the camera always causes me to miss good photo opportunities and all I end up with is a blurred photo.

Hello. This phone is not the best LG shine phone out there. It has alot o issues and I do not like it at all but have to put up with it til my next upgrade which is still a year from now. It shuts off on its own constantly, also while talking to someone even when its charged up ever so often it will beep. It is hard to send voice messages fast and just the controls on the phone are not set up easy to get to. The sound doesnt adjust high enough for the speaker phone part and no way while using the voice message part to get the sound up higher. Its just not set up too good at all, The keys are flat and nice and wont split like the keys on some other phones which are raised keys or made of plastic. The button made to get to all the items sucks too just wasnt thought of right in the design, I would never ever purchase this phone again and do not recommend it to anyone, to me it was a waste of my money. Plus no matter how hard I try to get the pictures out of the phone with the data cable...

I have been through so many cells, I have the unfortunate disability of being incredibly clumsy and I drop mine constantly. Unlike all past phones (all plastic), the LG Shine has held up very well. It's all metal, and much heavier than other cells I have had,but I really like that about it. It is a little scratched, but otherwise in great condition.

I don't like how texting is set up. Or I guess the memory for texting rather. My old phone (I don't even remember what it was called) saved hundreds of texts, I never had to delete any of them. However the Shine does not have this capacity. It can only hold about 175 sent/recieved messages before you have to begin deleting old texts.

I do not have the internet browser activated for financial reasons, so I have no idea if the browser is easy to use or not.

Overall, I defintiely reccommend the LG Shine. It's a great phone and I hope to have it for a few years yet.

Ok ok, I know the Iphone is new big deal in cellular phones these days. But consider this: For a person that doesn't need or want the huge phone bill (because you HAVE to get internet service with the Iphone), the LG Shine is a great choice.

I usually get the free phone or the cheapest one when I sign up for a cel phone account. To me, a cel phone is for making calls and don't need much else. But I saw the adds for the Shine and I really liked the style and the fact that the screen is amost a mirror. A silly thing like a mirror is something awsome to have in a cel phone; you wouldn't expect it. For girls it's great to touch up you make up! Besides the obvious chick features, this phone is also durable (it has fallen to the floor more than a few times); it has a 2 mega pixel camera with flash; it comes with an extra memory card so you can store more pics and pass them on to your pc; and other features standard in a cel phone.

The Lg shine is not a great phone if u do alot of texting. U need long nails to type.

I have one of the best cell phones on the market. The LG Shine is comfortable to hold. It is easy to answer. It has some of the best features a cell phone could have. It is a little larger than my last cell phone, however I like the way it handles. The voice quality is great. I boulght my cell phoen through AT&T and the young man that helped me was top notch. He educated me so that I could make the best decision when choosing a new cell phone.

THE LG SHINE IS EASY TO LEARN TO WORK AND USE. BUILT WELL AND STURDY.

THE MIDDLE JOYSTICK IS A LITTLE TOUCHY, AND THE RINGER DOESN'T GO AS LOUD AS I WOULD LIKE BUT THOSE ARE THE ONLY COMPLAINTS I HAVE. I LOVE MINE.

I HAVE USED MORE FEATURES ON THIS PHONE THAN ANY OTHER BECAUSE IT IS SO EASY TO WORK

The LG Shine phone was an okay buy. If I had the option I would not buy this phone again. When I first bought this phone I reaslly liked the phone. However after trying several times to increase the volume it wouldn't go pass a certain level. This level was way to low. They need to upgrade the volume so that it can get a little lower. Also to manever on this phone can be diffcult. My children enjoy the fact that they can watch pre-recorded snip-it of programs. However when the saleman was selling the phone he stated that we would be able to watch tv. He didn't say it would cost an additional fee. The pictures are not very clear. The one feature that I really wanted to use on the phone was the mp3 player. I want to use this while I was exercising however they don't sell a headset that you can plug into the phone. the only way to do this is with the bluetooth headset and I don't know about anyone else but when listen to music I would like to have the music in both ears. I have owned my LG Shine cell phone from AT&T since October of 2008. This has been by far my best cell phone to date. It looks cool and slick and small enough to carry in purse, pocket, backpack. When the phone is not in use it has mirror look to it. This is a plus if your a young girl or women. There's so many things you can do on this phone. You can take pictures, it's bluetooth capable, play/download games, text message, IM messaging, many tools like calculator, calendar etc.. The only thing that I think would've made this phone the best ever is that the camera does not have zoom. So you can only take closeup pictures.

Great little phone. Camera works well. Sound is clear. AT&T Service has some issues to work out, but I don't blame the phone.
