Antosha says "LG is not reliable for their refrigerators." about LG Refrigerator - French Door Refrigerator - LFC25770ST

As much as I liked a similar GE Profle model with LED lights, I couldn't justify spending $800 to buy LED lights (the primary if not the only distinction between this model and the GE). I specifically wanted this model because it does not have the door ice/water dispenser, which seems to be especially prone to freezing and other issues across all brands of French Door/Bottom Freezer fridges on the market.

This fridge is huge, as others have stated, both inside and outside. I bought it knowing it would never fit where the old fridge was--eventually, we will build a kitchen around this fridge. For now, it is great to have digital temperature controls, a very large freezer space, and, as someone who is very tall, it is great to be able to see inside the fridge without bending over.

The door pockets are very deep--enough so to hold a gallon of milk in either the left or the right door. The shelves slide out. There's 4 vegetable drawers and the fridge came with a "bonus plastic shoe box" as...
...

jwkfromrit says "LG 23 cubic feet stainless steel French Door Refrigerator" about LG Refrigerator - French Door Refrigerator - LFC25770ST

After eight months of browsing for a new replacement, we found a right size of LG 23 cubic feet French door refrigerator (LFC23760S) this month, that can fit the 33 inch space. We really like the look of the stainless steel French door type with the bottom freezer. I notice that my old Amana with its top freezer seemed more spacious than the new one, when they both have the same cubic feet. That French Door refrigerator provides easy access to the foods you reach for the most by placing them at eye level. Its LED light display panel looks so cool. It is pretty energy-saver, too.

The minor complaint is that there were some fingerprints on the stainless steel doors when it was delivered, but after cleaning the whole refrigerator, we don't have that problem as long as we use the door handles. Since there is no water hookup to the icemaker, we just can use old fashioned ice trays if needed (we rarely use ices).

We just have it for less than a month now, and hope that it...
...

We purchased the LG Refrigerator, with the freezer drawer on the bottom about a month ago. It is very appealing in the kitchen. The doors have a lot of useful bins and the shelves are all adjustable. The freezer has an icemaker and one, flat wire tray that pulls out over the freezer drawer. The freezer drawer is limited on space, and when you pull the bottom drawer out, the top rack comes out with it. I am always pulling out things from the freezer in order to reach deeper to get what I want. A nice thing is that if the freezer door is left open a faint buzz goes off until it is closed. It runs quiet and keeps food very cold in both the refrigerator and freezer. We looked at a lot before purchasing and I think with this model you get the best bang for your buck.
...

LG Refrigerator- French Door Refrigerator- LFC25770ST, I own this Refrigerator, so far so good, it makes ice, easy to clean, and not bad for every day use, it really will be better if they add a better water filter to it, and help us to easy clean the Refrigerator.
...

OK, but I regret not getting one with ice and water in the door. Also, it beeps after the door is open for a while, which would usually be a good thing, but not great when you are trying to load it.

Plenty of shelf space, although they are not easily adjusted.
...

My new condominium came with a shiny LG French Door Refrigerator, Model LFD22860 - very much the same as the above model. Although it runs well I had the following problems:

The tracks to the freezer door broke.

The brackets for the refrigerator and freezer handles cracked and broke twice.

The top of the refrigerator door cracked in seven places.

The face plate to the water dispenser cracked.

After several service calls and twenty hours of my time waiting for Dalton Service in Albuqueque, nothing was resolved. After I got in touch with an LG customer "resolution specialist", and eighteen months time, they sent a new refrigerator. Of course it was the same model and now four months later the top of the freezer door has two cracks. I will never buy any LG product. By the way, I was informed that my "new refrigerator" did not come with a warranty because it was a replacement. So, I can just hope that it will continue to operate or I will have to buy a new refrigerator. I am not going...
...

I'm the cook in the family, so I need much room to store the food that I buy for the family I feed everyday. I never imagine storing a month worth of food in this amazing appliance. The French doors give me more than enogh room to store all my comdiments. My family are ice cream lovers, so when the little ones want ice cream they can get it their self, because of the huge bottom freezer. The overall look compliments my kitchen for the best. Now I want to redo my whole kitchen around it.
...

bchuong says "Unreliable refrigerator, LG customer service on warranty suck!" about LG Refrigerator - French Door Refrigerator - LFC25770ST

The LG refrigerator was delievered and in service for less than 30 days, one of the light bulbs inside the top section of the refrigerator burned out, I called the LG customer service for the repair by giving LG a chance to fix it's defective product, LG's customer service told me that it is my responsibility to purchase the light bulb and fix it myself, the light bulb is not a warranty item, according to LG's customer service warranty definition the light bulb inside the LG's own product is not a part of LG refrigerator, go figure, therefore it is not LG's problem. Thanks LG! My expectation is at least to ship me a good light bulb and give me some good advices. I don't really appreciate the general denial practice of LG customer service. I won't buy LG products, it makes my blood pressure goes up....
