Lg does not stand behind their products. I paid over $4500 for all matching stainless applianes and have only had problems. I have been in contact with LG over 40 times and the repair tech has been over 8 times. The ice maker is poorly designed. There is a major bend in the shoot and the ice constantly jams. LG keeps making up excuses!! This started within 2 weeks of delivery and it has been 10 months and still doesn't work. Today I received an a letter stating my warranty will be up in 2 months and to purchase an extended warranty. What a JOKE! NEVER BUY LG PRODUCTS!!

We purchased our LG refrigerator in April 2009. it is the side by side with water and ice in door. We compared several brands before deciding on this one. It has great room and is easy to set temps. It worked great for about 1 month. then the ice maker froze up. I called LG and they told me to stick my hand up in to the ice maker and clear out ice obstruction.I felt somewhat unsure about this so I took out the ice holder and cleared the frozen obstruction. It again worked for a while then the water dispenser stopped working .I called LG again and had service come out. He managed to break the ice holder. I called LG again and they sent service and they said they had it working fine. Three days later the water stops and the light stopped working. Called LG again. service came out and replaced the ice maker and control panel. Two weeks later the ice maker stops working. I called LG and service said I need a new door and ice maker. One week later I get a call and the door is in but is dented....

My lg lsc27931st side by side is great,very quiet, easy to operate,my kids like the large ice/water dispenser, lighting is good,easy to see back of shelves,very energy efficient,solid performer..

The Lg LSC27931ST stainless steel sid-by-side refrigerator is the best one out there. It is a beautiful looking appliance with an easy to use dgital display on the outside of the door.

The ice maker is in the door which saves spaces and gives more shelf room in the freezer.

The side-by-side unit is very well lit. It's also extremely quiet.

We bought our fridge in 2004...and I have absolutely no complaints about it...it is very easy to clean...and has pleanty of space for a small family....
