This is extremely noisy. Dealing with LG customer service is terrible. I have called service 4 times and they still can't figure out what is wrong. It dries the clothes extremely uneven. I would never buy another LG product!

LG Dryer makes a loud thumping noise. When serviced, it was found that the drum was cracked. I was told this is VERY COMMON with this unit. $1000 unit lasting two years is ridiculous!! Repair $250 to last another two years!

To make things worse, LG washer has mold issues in their doors and rubber seals. Clothes and laundry room stink!! No amount of washing, bleach, or leaving door open helps.

NEVER recomend or purchase these units again!!!!!

I have had the LG TROMM dryer for over a year now and think it is excellent. I highly recommend it! I love the capacity and the quick trying time. Plus it looks really cool. We have stacked our washer/dryer, but I'm getting ready to put them side by side (which means purchasing the pedestals - ugh, probably my only complaint b/c more $$ to spend). I think it's so cool that you can just swap the control panel to the top or bottom of the dryer. Because I'm short, we have the dryer control panel on the bottom when stacked. I don't have anything bad to say about this dryer!

I love clean clothes when they are warn, fresh from the the dryer on a cool autumn evening, so one of my friend suggested that I hang my clothes outside that way I can be an energy saver, I do put my foot down. I do consider myself as a dedicated environmentalist's, the dry was a luxury I wasn't planning on giving that up. I thought how much energy could my once - a- week drying sessions consumer anyway? I decided to do some research. Whenever I stumbled across a ubiquitous figure that's reported all over the internet, that's including the U.S. Department of energy's website, I knew that I had electric dryer. If the Americans people or even just New England, would use the clothesline or a wooden dryer racks, where I'm from we hand clothes out after washing them. The savings would be enough to close several power plants," than reporting these project laundry list, would be a pro-line drying website. I realize that such a significant part of my electricity bill went to drying clothes...

This LG Front Loader Gas Dryer dries my clothes so fast it is incredible. It actually beats the washer!

I wish I could say more great things about our LG Tromm Dryer. We purchased it 2 years ago with the matching washer. The Washer has been good as far a cleaning, quietness, ease of use and great looking, but we have had the infamous odor problem. However, this is the least of my problems. The Dryer also started out great, but we recently experienced a major problem with the dryer drum. We started to hear a loud thumping noice from the dryer, and discovered that the dryer drum was cracking at the inside seam. The dryer is 2 years old, so LG will not cover this repair under warranty. I tried to explain that a $1000.00 dryer drum should not crack only after 2 years of use, but they still will not consider covering any repairs. I have found that this problem is not that uncommon, as there are more blogs found on the internet with the same problem. I am upset with LG and will never recommend another LG appliance to anyone.

Love the look, love the sound. It dries very quick and is fairly quiet - almost no sound when my door is closed!!!! Worth it!!!

The only way this dryer could be ANY better is if it folded the laundry too! It has cut my laundry time almost in half! The features are excellent and fit my needs perfectly...however, make certain you buy the pedestals too. I'd prefer it if the perfect dryer was just a l-i-t-t-l-e taller!

I like my dryer very much however its my washer that I am sometimes not happy with. I was never told it needed to sit on a concrete floor. Our laundry room in on the first floor incorperated into one of the bathrooms and if that sucker's legs aren't 100% level the washer door squeaks like mad when the clothes inside get tosses off level.
The dryer does a good job at getting even my bulky comforters dry.

My husband and I bought this dryer Tromm dryer) at Sears and it does a great job drying the clothes in a short period of time. It runs very quietIy. I am very happy with this product and I would recommend it. I see a lot of retailors carry this brand such as Lowes, Home Depot, and Sears.

LG Dryer is the easiest dryer ive ever had, i love the fact that is super quite and the fact that i get to choose the color white, it matches with eveyrhting else i have in my house so i love it i highly recommend this item for people who doesnt like complications
