I did have to buy another battery for this phone but this could have been because I keep it [lugged in even when it doesn't need to charge. With a good battery, this phone will last like 2 days. I didn't buy a case so it did get very scratched up, but when the screen light was on you couldn't really see any of the scratches on the screen. If you get ANYTHING on the wheel it will stop turning. Also the little touch buttons on the front stop working for a bit when you get water on it. Close to a year and a half after I got the phone the touch buttons would be unresponsive, and then start clicking random things that I didn't click on. The camera is pretty good for what it is. Stores a lot of pictures, also. It's really easy to use. Pretty straight forward. Nothing too fancy on it just your average camera phone. Texting on it is really easy even though its not a keyboard. The speaker on it is great and music sounds great on it.

This was the worst phone I ever had. I would not recommendit to anyone. It was always something going wrong with it. When you were talking to someone you would hit the touch buttons. On one of the phone I had the wire from where its slides broke and had to get another one. I went through 4 phones and they still would not give me a different kind of phone. It was terrible. Updates would not always work. Kept dropping calls. Would go to a black screen in the middle of trying to answer it. It would loose my screen saver and go back to original one. The only good thing about that phone was that it did take good pictures.

My suggestion is not to get the chocolate 2.

I love my LG Chocolate 2! It does everything I want from pictures, video, texting, instant messaging, voice command, calculator to calendar with reminders. If I didn't have this phone I would be lost. It even has a tip calculator! I like the music graphics as a background on the screen. It's cool just to look at. I always have a signal and clear sound. Its easy to use. I am still learning that is has more features. Last but not least, I hate to admit it but this phone can take a beating! I have dropped it at least one hundred times and there only flaw are nicks on the protective case. I've knocked the case off at least 10 times when dropping it. I even spilled coffee on it once. It's been perfect. I am eligable for a new phone but do not want to give this one up. If I ever had to get a new one I would get the same phone.

well i have had a chocolate for atleast 3 yrs ,i am accident prone (dont laugh} the very first vear was great the only thing i did was drop it in a century tub while i was at my place of employment.,the vibration of the phone was stuck so i took battery out phone was shot so i got a new one. the company,verizon sent me a new one with a 50 dollar charge which was fine .they sent me the chocolate 2 ,boy was that a mistake it was fine for a few months then it started i could dial out and everything else but no sound .they could hear me but i couldnt hear them,called verizon they sent me another same thing happened a few times .i was hoping the d send me an entirely different phone at this point in time well they did nt so recieved another phone and same thing happened no sound but this time i could hear them but they couldnt hear me i wa s getting pretty angry. called verizon ...

I purchased my chocolate 2 phone about a year and a half ago and it has been in bad shape and broke recently. When I first got the phone it was really nice and I liked it a lot. About a half a year later, it did not work. I went to Verizon Wireless to get it replaced and they gave me a brand new one for free. The electronics work, I could still make phone calls, but the screen went black. The new phone was nice at first as well, but didn't last very long. I am cautious with my phones and did not drop it very often. Every once in a while it would slip out of my hands though. I really liked the keyboard on it. I like to text and it was very usefull for that. If you want to do anything more than that with your phone, I would suggest that you purchase something else. It finally broke for good and I decided to get something else. This is the second LG phone that I have had and as with the old one, they are nice when you purchase but do not last.

The LG Chocolate 2 phone is not a very good phone (in my opinion). The phone itself is not bad, but this phone seems to break a lot, especially the charging port. This is the third time I have had this phone because it broke and was covered under waranty, but unfortunately my provider keeps giving me the same phone whenever this happends. Unless you want to be running in for a new phone thats under waranty every 2 weeks, I recommend you choose a different phone.

This is the first cell phone that I have owned and I love it. It was easy to learn how to use and doesnt have alot of features that I would never use. Unfortunetly, the store only had the ice blue color but I have actually gotten used to it and wouldnt want another color. The menu is easy to use and figure out where you want to go. It takes great pictures for a camera phone since I have seen alot worse with phones that are a higher mega pixel. The only problem that I have with the phone is that no matter how much you turn down the sensativity on the wheel, you still hit it all the time with your cheek and that can cause you hang up, etc. I also had a little bit of trouble finding a set of headphones for it. It comes with the ablility to use bluetooth but I have not used it yet. I have already loaded a bunch music and it still has a lot of room left for more. I ended up purchasing a card for my pictures becuase I had just way to many for the little phone to handle.

This is an awesome phone. Very sturdy too. Unfortunately i'm not the best with my phone, and put it through a lot, but my phone has helf up and survived a lot...

The sensitive keys make accidently hitting the mute button all too easy. Turning the speaker phone on is a pain in the butt, the volume control doesn't really work well, I can go on and on and on.......
