kimmiebrooks says "my dogs absolutely love it!" about Kong Rubber Ball

These balls are excellent!! I have a two-year old rottweiler/sheppard mix who tears up most of her toys within minutes but this is one ball she can't tear up and we love it! Even better, she loves it. We tell her to go get red ball and off she runs. She is always wanting us to play ball with her but when we don't have time to play, she'll lay down and just chew on it but it stays in one piece. We got it for her with the toy coupon we received from Petsmart in the birthday card they sent her and it's the best present for both of us!

for a dog who destroys tennis balls in 5 minutes...the Kong ball is excellent!! After having it for a week, there are not even any teeth marks or scratches! it may be more expensive than a tennis ball,...
...

AshMartin says "Kong Ball is amazingly tough" about Kong Rubber Ball

Our puppy George is a seventy pound great pyranees who has recently been teething very very very badly on any and everything that he can get his little (ok big) grubby(not really, he loves baths) paws on. Anything includes: shoes, chair legs or arms, the kitchen table, even the refrigerator is not safe from the horror that is a huge puppy teething. We had tried many many puppy toys that said they were rough and tough and would stand up to the toughest and roughest of chewers. Well after going through many dog toys most chewed through within milliseconds of him being given the "rough and tough" toys. After discovering the kong ball my great big pyranees puppy now has a toy both he and i can play with and there is no being disappointed when he chews through or breaks the toy some other interesting way. We have a very, very happy puppy that is very much enjoying his brand new kong ball dog toy!
...

My puppy gets anxiety when we leave the house. She started chewing EVERYTHING. I bought a kong at a local pet store and I couldn't be happier! You can buy treats to put inside or you can put peanut butter inside. I chose to buy the treats. This kong kept my puppy busy forever. Should use supervision first before leaving it alone with the puppy first....

Nothing would hold up to my rottie, everything he got he destroyed in minutes, even a few soda cans, concrete steps and my stair railing. Once we found the Kong Ball, its all he ever plays with and chews. They last months, one for almost a year. This is the best thing since sliced bread..... for dogs....

I have three rescued pit mixes and we would go through tennis balls like Kleenex. If you have dogs that are driven to play fetch and whose purpose in life is to destroy the ball before your time at the park is done, then this is the ball for you! Not only will it survive the jaws of determined pit bulls, it bounces like nothing you have ever seen.

It is well worth the investment.
...

What can I say? The Kong is a vertually indestructable top of the line high quality dog toy. My lab tears up every toy I buy him, no matter how expensive it is. The Kong is the ONLY toy he hasn't been able to destroy! He has met his match and he loves it. It is fun to chew on, fun to use as a bounce toy, you can play fetch with it or fill it with treats such as cheese or peanut butter for snack time. It can be used inside or outside and is easily cleaned with mild soap and water. The Kong comes in different sizes depending on the size of your dog, they also sell different types of treat fillers for the Kong or you can easily use people food from home. I often fill my dogs Kong with peanut butter and then put it in the freezer until it's good and frozen, this makes for even longer treat times!! He loves those special occassions. Purchase the Kong for your dog, you won't be disappointed, and neither will your best friend....

My rhodesian lab loves his Kong ball and we love it b/c he can't chew it up. We have had it for a year. The longest we have had any ball. I would totally recommend this to any friends with large dogs. It doesn't fit into the thrower as well as a tennis ball but it still fits....

I will never again purchase another brand of ball for my dog. My puggle destroys every toy we have ever gotten him within minutes. This ball can take a beating. We have not had to replace it yet (except for when my brother hit it about a mile into the woods with a baseball bat.) This is totally worth every penny as they are a bit expensive. They are also my dogs favorite ball. You can give him a choice of a dozen or so and he always goes for the Kong. They are the best balls out there and I have not one bad thing to say about them. They keep both me and my dog happy....

the-holding-tank says "Durable but not good for teething puppies" about Kong Rubber Ball

We were looking for a ball that our energetic chew-happy puppy couldn't shred or destroy. The Kong ball hasn't gotten torn apart, but it also hasn't gotten much use. It was too tough for her to do anything ther than play fetch, and she quickly lost interest because of that. She won't even bother to chase it anymore. This would be great if you had a dog that already loved to play fetch, but doesn't make a good training toy....

My 3 dogs can each tear through a tennis ball with in a minute, leaving little bits all over the room they are in. After searching the pet store I invested the money on the Kong Large Rubber Ball. I gave it to Miss Lilly, my French Bulldog / Cocker Spaniel mix. Within 2 minutes she had punctured the ball SEVERAL times with her teeth. By the end of day 2, I started to find red bits all over the house. At the end of day 3 the Kong Rubber Ball was in a hundred little pieces!

I spend quite a bit of money on a product that bit the dust in 3 days. NOT WORTH the expense. You are better off going to the dollar store and buying the same amount in Tennis Balls.

...

The Verdict: Forget tennis balls and invest in a Kong Rubber Ball. The upfront cost will make you gasp but it will pay itself off in days.

About the Kong ball: Most anyone who has a dog has heard of Kong products. They are really high quality balls and toys for dogs of all sizes. They are made of solid, natural rubber that is puncture resistant and made to withstand the roughest play.

My experience: To be quite honest I'm a little afraid of and freaked out by dogs and it takes me a long time to warm up to each one that I meet and I don't have a dog of my own. In addition to the dog phobia which makes me reluctant to reach into a dog's mouth to retrieve a ball, I'm also a germophobe. So when I dogsit for family members I really dislike playing ball. Most people give their dogs tennis balls that get all wet, dirty, and slimy and I really abhor picking them up to throw to the dog.

My husband's sister was away on an extended trip and we doggie sat Misty for a few days and ended...
...
