Fizzbit says "Like most kids, some dogs get bored after awhile" about Kong Puppy Kong bone

I have two Pembroke Welsh Corgis. And for both of them I got Kongs. The youngest took to the Kong the fastest, with the oldest using his on occasion.

Now I do love the Kong, don't get me wrong. For dogs that do have high attention spans, it's a perfect toy. And for dogs that love to think, props to them.

I gave it a 4-star rating because while my dogs did love it when they first got it, they bored of it quickly. Like within a week or two. They're more rawhide-lovers and squeaky-toy lovers than rubber lovers. They'll go back to their Kongs on occassion, but for the most part they fight over squeaky toys.

Also, I highly recommend any Kong product to any pet owner who has destructive pets that can't keep a toy for more than a week. These products are HIGHLY durable and my oldest hasn't ever been able to so much puncture the rubber.
...

I bought a Kong puppy bone (they come in pink or blue) for my new puppy and he loves it. There is a hole at each end of the bone shaped plastic where you can place either the Kong treat stuff or regular doggy treats. I use the regular treats that I have been using for training and give it to the puppy and he will work at getting those treats out as long as it takes. He even took it to bed with him the other night - how cute is that! Its a definite must for a new puppy owner- really gives them something positive to chew on instead of your shoes, tables - or whatever else they can get their paws on.
...
