This game just shows how far video games go when they truly are being developed by some one like Kiojima . The game on its own its full or plots that keep you wanting more, action, romance, honor , fear and death. They show every aspect of human life in a single interactive master pice. I never thought i would enjoy a game so much like this, you always hear people talking about the gameplay and graphics but really a game is no game without a story behind it. MGS4 delivers a great story that will keep you wanting more from Snake, the gameplay will make you enjoy the great story line and the great visuals well thats for your eyes to decide.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the latest installment of the Metal Gear series and does not fail to deliver to both long time fans as well as new comers to the series. The graphis are top notch with the processing power of the next generation platform of the Playstation 3 and takes Solid Snake to a whole new level. The game is everything I loved about Metal Gear Solid from the original Playstation without the weird side notes and murky story of Metal Gear Solid 2 on Playstation 2. You play as fan favorite Solid Snake and continue on where the past games left off with Snake delving deeper into his past and his relationship with Big Boss. The character controls are smooth and not clumsy and a great new feature is the customization process of both weapons and camoflauge. Not to mention the added bonus of Metal Gear online that is included with the game! You get all this plus a complex, challenging and engaging game story arch which will leave gamers enthralled for hours.

From the 1st Metal Gear Solid game until this latest release I have been hooked. I have played anything that says metal Gear on it. This title absolutely is the best one. Mr. Kojima never fails with his deep love for cinema & creative thinking.

This installment does not fail. I will not ruin anything but, if your a MGS fan you will get everything you need. Super graphics, cool weapons, blasts from the past & a ending that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

The replay value is high. I would say play it through the first time just for fun. Kill who want, do what you want. But the real skill comes when you try yo beat it without killing anyone, setting off alarms, using any health items & finishing it as fast as you can.

All in all the best MGS game to date. The only drawback is it ends. Even though this is SUPPOSED to be the last one, I would like a new one but in a way i hope they don't. I would rather it ends in triumph then to fizzle out with a weak sequel.

The gameplay and story would, perhaps, not be as effective if Metal Gear Solid 4 did not look and sound so impressive, but truth be told, it's an amazing piece of technology. From the gritty textures of concrete walls to the effective lighting and shadowing, there are few aspects you could reasonably fault. In the biggest battles, billows of smoke fill the screen and blood splatters against the camera--all while meticulously designed helicopters fly overhead and ad-hoc team members take potshots from behind grungy dilapidated vehicles. Yet in the midst of the visual drama, it's the little things that are likely to provoke awe. Small details, such as how Snake rubs his sore back when his stress levels get high or the authentic manner in which he ascends staircases, create as much atmosphere as cluttered underground tunnels and war-torn Middle Eastern cities. This is an amazing game and seems almost as if you are controlling a character in a movie. This is definitely a must have game for PS3 and should be compared to as the Halo of Xbox. If you own a Playstation 3, you must own this game, especially if you are into shooters or tactical games that require some thinking. The cutscenes can be hours long and I feel that there is not enough gameplay, but overall, the game is amazing....

I am reviewing Metal Gear Solid 4

First off some of the most amazing graphics I have ever seen. Second, game play is amazing with the controls being spot on. I love the addition of the chameleon suit, it adds a very cool aspect of game play. At some points you feel like you are playing a movie.

The Metal Gear Solid series has always been highly cinematic, but Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots takes the series to an entirely new level of quality and production values. From the very moment the game starts you will be drawn in by the top notch storytelling. However, if you're not the type to enjoy watching a game rather than playing, then Metal Gear Solid 4 isn't for you. It requires a good attention span to really get the most out of the game.

But if you do pay attention you'll be greatly rewarded. All of your favorite characters from the previous games will return, including some faces you never thought you'd see again. The story is a roller coaster thrill ride, and will leave you never knowing what to expect next, and it does an amazing job of resolving many unanswered conflicts in the series while leaving enough open ends to keep things interesting.

The gameplay is mostly the same as the old games, but with some nice additions. You'll still find yourself crawling around......

MGS4 is the most recent chapter in the long running Metal Gear series. Everything you've come to expect from this series is here in spades.
The story is full of twists and turns, tying up most of the loose ends from the previous games, and giving the player a new view on events. It is way too long and detailed to go into here, and I wouldn't want to spoil the story.
Graphics are top notch, except for a few minor glitches. The cutscenes are absolutely beautiful and look better than most pre-rendered movies. Its not just the graphic quality, the directing and acting that goes into all of the cutscenes (about 10 hours) is unmatched in the videogame industry.
The sound design is detailed and realalistic, every gun has its own sound, and every step you take sounds slightly different from the one before. The music is also top notch, with hollywood song writer Harry Gregson Williams once again being the game's main composer.

This game is bad to the bones, it has the best graphics in a game I have ever played. The length of the game is very good also. The story line is good but some of the stuff is really weird. The controls are good also and there is not a ton of buttons you have to remember what they do.

Metal Gear Solid is a must have for everyone even if you havent tried any of the earlier Metal Gear Solid series. Graphics are just completely stunning and realistic whi make you go wow, and the story is so interesting that you want to play the game till the very end.

The graphic in this game are the best I have seen. The storyline is very long which some people will like but I think they made them too long even though some of them are entertaining. The gameplay is just perfect. Its like you are really there in the game. There are something like 70 or so different weapons. Its pretty easy to play this game and it helped me get through a boring week....

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the final piece of Snake's story of the Metal Gear Series.

You play as "Old Snake", a highly-skilled operative who is now stricken with an aging disorder. As Snake, you have one last mission. Find and kill your brother, stopping him from taking over the world. You will sneak past enemies or go guns blazing to your goal as traverse through five different locales.

Graphics and sound is amazing, this game is the reason why to buy a PS3. This game allows you to play however you want. You can be secretive and sneak past your enemies, or fight face to face, and even play either first or third person.

There are minimal load times, the only noticeably long load times are between acts (which are not that bothersome). Cinematics are a bit long and you will probably be overloaded with information the game gives you, this game requires some patience, if you do not have any, now's the time to learn.

With the single-player experience you can also go online with Metal Gear Online....

perhaps the best game i've ever played, I've been a fan of the medal gear solid series for awhile now. And this being the last, was simply the best...

Outstanding cut scenes, lengthy gameplay, plenty of action, and covert sneaking around...

I loved it, and it was the title to push the Ps3 above the xbox 360
