Love the stores....shop for mostly clothes, large selection! I recently got on-line to "try" and pay my bill with my bank card. I went around and around before finally calling customer service for help. Only to find out.....you can't....soo really this is only for shopping for new items to put on your Kohl"s card. Frustrated, to say the least! Sad that you have to have checks to pay your bill. *Warning* to the next customer, don't go w/o checks. If you need to pay-over-the-phone, there will be a $5 charge added to your bill. Nice, huh?! I thought so.

I have similar experience as earlier reviewer with credit report. Only one payment late 2 years back, which was my first and only payment due to Kohls. Called Customer service and explained situation, and also that Kohl's is the only derogatory item on my credit report, but they would not change status. I have closed my account with Kohl's, and regret opening one with them in first place. I intend keeping minimum number of credit cards open, and intend to pass by store offers of credit.

I do not like to carry store cards, but the Kohl's card is clearly a good one to have because of the 15% discount days coupled with their excellent sales. They also carry clothing that my entire family likes to wear. My problem is with the financial end of the card service. I will admit that I let the card lapse for 30 days one time a few years ago, but then I paid it off in full as usual. I was traveling like crazy for work in that period and just lost track of a few things. I just checked my credit report recently and found out that Kohl's/Chase had given me a negative mark for that month and it is going to stay on my report for 7 years. This is going to ultimately cost me more than I am saving with their coupons. Now, I know that I have to take responsibility for my credit, but in my 30 years of credit experience they were more ready to pull the trigger with this negative reporting than any one else. Other lenders give you a grace period. It is the only negative mark......

This card I use mostly when they offer you the bonus coupons. It is just extra money you have to cloth your kids....

Kohl's provides extra discounts multiple times each year when you charge your purchases using your Kohl's credit card. I have received an additional 30% off of my total purchase a number of times. Add that to their sales prices. One can get come great deals....

I never intended to sign up for a Kohl's credit card, but after making a large in-store purchase one day, the opportunity to receive 10% off my entire purchase was too tempting to refuse. Kohl's had me hook, line, and sinker.

While I try to curb my online spending, it can be difficult to do that when Kohls.com has some great clearance sales. Add to that, the coupons that I receive for additional discounts as well as coupon codes for free shipping, then I'm one happy shopper.

PROS:

There is no annual fee.

Kohl's always seems to be having a sale, both in-store and online.

As a Kohl's credit card holder, you will often receive coupons and catalogs.

Easy online account access and bill payment options.

Each billing period is approximately one month in length (I've seen credit cards that are only 23 days).

CONS:

The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of 21.90% is high if you don't pay off your balance in full each month.

A low credit limit of $1500.00 (although, some people may appreciate this)....

The Kohl's MVC card is great. I can save an additional 15% 3 times a year and getting the extra 15, 20 or 30% savings is great too. I have always had the best service and returning things are never a hassle. I use the Kohl's card every time I shop at Kohl's and when they have a special percent off or if you spend $50 you get $10 in Kohl's cash, the card is definitely worth it. I have had my card for about 15 years and have never regretted opening the account.

The Kohl's Credit Card has alot of advantages over other Store Credit Cards. The Kohl's Crad sends out great percent off savings coupons all the time....

I got my Kohl's credit card to get a 15% discount on my first purchase there. I like getting coupons through mail and email. They also give discounts sometimes for using the card. I've gotten some really good deals like that.

I love Kohl's dishes and when they have good sales, they're very good. We got a Presto griddle for $9.99 and it's a big one.

Also, our local Kohl's has senior days where senior citizens get an extra discount on certain days of the week. It's never the same day though so we have to watch for the sale paper in our local newspaper.

I love to shop at Kohl's department store. They always have great sales and clearance items each and every week. When you receive their ads in the mail and they come with one of their discount cards, you know to get on over to one of their stores. Using their Kohl's credit cards with the discount card will save you a lot of money. Even when I don't "need" anything from their store, I still go check out their sales because I always find great deals when I use my Kohl's credit card. If you don't have a Kohl's credit card, you just "have" to get one. It will save you money everytime!...

I love using my kohls card. I get so many savings from them. You receive coupons to use throughout the year, sometimes for 30 % off which is the greatest. The littlest amount is 15% but with the store savings and the extra 15-30 % off, you cant beat this store and its card....
