I bought a Kodak Easy Share 5500, All In One printer from HSN,it was a "Today's Special Value", it has turned out to be some of the best money I have ever spent! It copies photos, its a fax, its a printer and I luv it!! I've owned it for over a year now, and would purchase another one if I ever need to. I can take family phots, and enlarge them up to an 8 x 10 !! It's wonderful for holiday pictures!!

I got the Kodak 5500 last year during tax season and was prepared to be amazed. I was mearly dissapointed. I have already had to send my printer back to the company and was without it for over a month.

I have had several issues with it. First of all, kodak states that you will be using less ink and I find that hard to believe. I rarely use the thing and have not even printed 20 pictures and it was out of ink. The picture quality is fantastic, but I was out of ink before my project was finished.

Sometimes it will say that it is out of ink and then I go and buy the stuff, only to see my husband using it when I get home and then he shows me the screen that says 75% remaing ink?!?!

That is the other issue. Sometimes it will give you faulty iformation of the status of the machine.

Kodak HAS however, been very helpful and cooperative when there is an issue. Everytime that I have called them they have taken the time to walk me through problem solving and most issues have been resolved. They...

EASYSHARE 5500 All-in-One Printer-print, copy, scan, and fax. Two-sided printing with optional duplexer. I love the two sided printing. It saves a lot of paper. Automatic document feeder that makes copying, scanning, and faxing easy to use. I've faxed a couple times now and haven't had any problems. I do a LOT of scanning and it works great.

I just had to have this printer after seeing it on "Celebrity Apprentice". It was supposed to save ink and I guess it does, altho' it seems like I'm buying more ink, I'm also doing more printing and it costs less to buy.

BLUETOOTH® Wireless Technology enabled. I have never been able to get this feature to work. I got the advice of the store "geeks" where I bought this, and they didn't really know anything about it either. Sooo, I bought the bluetooth extra, for nothing. I like the printer, but I also had some problems starting it up. The online support wasn't all that great and most times, I had to pretty much figure it out...

We have owned the Kodak 5500 printer for 6 months. I have replaced the ink maybe 3 times for black and 2 times for the color. The price of the ink is really reasonable. We replaced the black and color this past weekend, it printed for a day and now nothing. My husband figured it to be the printhead. I was unable to locate a printhead to purchase at any of the big office supply stores. So I went to the Kodak site. They told me I had to contact tech support to get a printhead.

I then did some research, many people have complained about the quality of the printhead and how many times they have had to replace it in a short period of time. I can only hope I can get this problem solved before my son's English project is due!

Ordered the Kodak Easy Share 5500 from Amazon.com and haven't regretted it. I've already made my money back on the money I've saved not sending out to get pictures.

It's easy to set up, easy to use, the ink cartridges are cheap, you can get the photo paper for a relatively good price.

I had a Lexmark and would shell out 50.00 everytime for ink and then more for paper etc.

I've yet to use the inks I bought, but they were 20.00 and I got 60 sheets of photo paper for 7.00!!

I bought a camera gear magazine that helped a lot in mapping out what was available as far as cameras. I hadn't even planned on buying a printer. As I read, I learned that the printers available were relatively reasonable in price by design.where the manufactureres soaked you was on ink .Kodak was the exception. I appreciated Kodak's integrity.I bought the Kodak All ln One 5500. I am tickled pink at what a great decision I made. The black ink is only $9.99 and the color is only $14.99. I've found that you can get it even cheaper by buying in bulk online. I got 8 cartridges (3 color and 5 black for only $37.00). I have restored and enlarged old family photos and recovered my supply costs by doing the same for friends.Setting up was a breeze.....and no I didn't read the instructions first. I read them later. The scanner and fax work great. This is a great buy!

I purchased the printer thinking it would me save $ for ink! Wrong, it run out of ink quickly compared to the HP I had previously. It was slow printing, the quality of prints just got worse over a 10 month period, it was still under warranty but I canned it for another HP. Hated it!!!!...

After reading reviews on a retailer's web site, I had mixed reservations about the Kodak 5500 printer. I go through a printer on the average of one every 18 to 24 months. The cost of printer cartridges is outrageous. So, I checked out reviews, read everyone of them, but still went ahead and purchased the 5500. Most of the reviews made reference to how difficult it was to set up, it was noisy, it was slow, and some didn't keep the printer after a few days.

I've been an HP printer user for many years, but then I upgraded my computer to a Vista system. My current (now old) HP Printer was not Vista compatible. I checked all the HP printers that had basic features (scan, copy, print, and some with fax capability), and in the price range of $99-$199, and none of them were/are Vista compatible! None!
