The Kodak Easyshare all in one printer is a good quality printer. I bought this Kodak printer to replace a hp all in one model because the ink was way too expensive. The Kodak printer costs a little more at first but with cheaper ink that prints double the pictures with great quality you save money in the long run. I use this printer for business statements and scrapbooking with great success.

I have only had one problem with this printer and I was very pleased with the help I received online at the Kodak site. They asked a few simple questions and instantly figured out the problem. The company sent me a replacement piece within three days and I had my printer back and running easily without spending a cent. They even sent me free replacement ink and photo printing paper for my troubles. This was very nice to have such great help without taking the printer anywhere or paying any extra money. No more problems have occured and I haved owned this printer for almost two years....
...

turnersmom79 says "A great printer for the family or small office" about Kodak Easyshare 5100

I'm a PC. We'll I'm also a Kodak. Kodak EasyShare AIO, that is. I purchased the lower end model (5100) almost as soon as they came out because of the promise of better ink cost and management. Boy am I satisfied.

The Kodak EasyShare 5100 offers some great features like scanning, copying and a dedicated 4x6 print tray, but it also works great as just a desktop printer. It's a little large, but not more than you might expect from an all-in-one machine.

I like how easy it is to buy ink (crazy, I know) and install the cartridges. I can run to Staples, or Target, or Wal-mart, or ... you get the idea, and pick up both color and black cartridges for less than $25. My old HP practically drank ink and the cartridges were easily $25 a piece.

I also like the quality of the prints. Everything looks sharp and vivid. And, though this may be an operator error, every time I need a new cartridge, my printer will stop and requires new ink before it will continue. That may sound like a pain, but would...
...

cristinamurdock says "the kodak easyshare 5100 is the best al in one printer every" about Kodak Easyshare 5100

I chose the Kodak Easyshare 5100 all in one printer because the ink was cheap. It works great with off brand ink so it doesn't have to use Kodak ink. When you make copies no matter how many you make they all look a like. Also when you scan either black and white or color it does wonderful. The desk that you get with the printer lets you edit your pictures and you can even write on your pictures. You can share your pictures on line, though email and/or though Kodak gallery. All my pictures are very bright colored and the paper that the pictures are printed on is water proof and finger proof. My kids get the pictures right off of the printer and it doesn't mess up the pictures. As soon as the print they are dry.Even when you use the off brand ink, the pictures still look good, It cost about .10 to print a picture. That is with Kodak ink and Kodak paper. In about 1min. you can print about 4 pictures.I love it. It has saved me alot of money on pictures.
...

babeed0l says "With the Kodak Easyshare 5100 you wont spend high prices for ink" about Kodak Easyshare 5100

The Kodak Easyshare 5100 is by far one of the best printers we have ever owned. This printer does it all. It's a printer, copier and scanner all in one. When shopping around for a new printer we chose this printer mainly because it was the best printer that had all the features we were looking for and was affordable, but when it came to buying the replacement ink, that is what sold us. You can buy both the color and black ink cartridges for one low price. We paid more for the black ink cartridge for our previous printer.

Something that I loved the most about the Kodak Easyshare 5100 printer was the pull out tray feature to make individual 4X6 pictures . With this easy to use feature you can not only make single 4X6 pictures but it has the capability to crop and make color adjustments to your pictures.

As with most things, there is a downside to this printer. The trade-off for the low ink price is that the printhead becomes clogged and must be replaced every sixty to ninety days....
...
