I was given my Kodak easy-share C913 camera for Mother's Day so I would be able to take pictures of my new grandson. I am not a very tetchy person but this camera was very easy to use and download pictures to share. This camera comes with all the UBS cord and accessory to make downloading pictures to my computer, the instruction were very easy to read and understand. It gives you detailed instructions to make the downloading process really easy for the first time users. My only complaint about this product is that without buying a memory card my camera would only store 10 pictures at a time. This camera is small in size and can easily fits into my purse and have ready in seconds for those once in a lifetime shots ! The cost of the camera is very reasonable compared to some of the others on the market. It also come with the Easy share program so sharing pictures with other family members is very easy to use by following the easy instruction.

JazzSinger says "Outstanding Camera for Everyday Use" about Kodak EasyShare C913 Digital Camera

It's amazing how much the technology in digital cameras has advanced in the last 8-10 years, and it's amazing how much more you can get for your money now. I bought my first digital camera about 8 years ago. It cost $50, it had no external memory and no zoom, it could hold 32 pictures of "normal" quality and 16 pictures of "fine" quality, and I believe the resolution was 1-2 megapixels. The next digital camera I got cost over $200 (I think, it was a gift), it's resolution was 3.6 megapixels, it had a 2x zoom and it used memory sticks. I had external memory in the range of hundreds of megabytes. I bought the Kodak EasyShare C913 on sale for $80. It has a resolution of 9.2 megapixels and a 3x zoom. I bought a 2 gigabyte memory card to go with it for about $12. God, I love technology.

The Kodak EasyShare C913 comes with just about all that you would expect the typical digital camera to come with. It comes with a disk with a photo-managing program (EasyShare). I did...
...

I do a lot of online writing, and a lot of the writing is enhanced by photographs. Many times when we are traveling my husband likes to be the one to take the pictures. So he takes control of the camera and he likes to of course take family photographs, which is a good thing. But I would like to use the photos for my online writing, and I don't want my family in those pictures. I want to take pictures of scenery etc. and leave the family photographing to my husband. So I decided to get my own digital camera, however, things are tight so I did not want to spend a lot of money. So I wanted to get the best camera I could for the lowest possible price.

The Kodak Easyshare C913 9.2 Digital Camera was recommended to me.

I paid a very low price of $79.99 for my Kodak Easyshare camera. It actually takes really good pictures that are comparable to my husbands camera that we paid $300 for.

The camera comes in different colors, I have seen them in white and in red. Mine is silver....
...

The Kodak Easy Share C913 9.2 MP digital camera is great for basic picture taking. It is very user-friendly, and takes high quality pictures. Its size makes it very portable and easy to hold. I recommend it highly for the value conscious buyer.
...

I got my Kodak EasyShare C913 just a few weeks ago and I'm already loving it! It's exactly what I wanted - a small, simple, good quality digital camera that didn't cost a fortune. I got it for under $100 on sale. It's 9.2 mega pixels. The camera comes with the USB cable and software for downloading pictures to your computer. The menus are easy to navigate and it doesn't have a million extra features that I'll never use. It can take video, also. With a 4GB memory card (not included with camera), it can store about 2200 pictures.

There are a couple different picture modes - auto for general picture taking; scene for special condition photos; blur reduction to minimize camera shake and movement; landscape for far-away scenes; and close-up. There's also a flash button which easily controls the flash settings - auto, fill (always), red-eye, and off. There's a certain amount of picture editing that can be done in-camera, though I haven't used those features yet - I prefer......

I love purple. And this camera comes in purple. I also haven't updated my digital in a couple of years so I was happy to see that a higher megapixel wouldn't hurt my budget. Here are some things I like and dislike about the Kodak Easyshare C913.

Pros:

Cute colors

Large LCD Screen

Setting to choose B&W,Sepia, or Color right on the camera itself

Crop and Edit from camera

Price

Video

Cons:

The video doesn't have sound!

There are fewer pre set settings on the top knob. My older kodak had more.

Not great in darker settings. The pictures that I take indoors at night aren't very good at all.

No optional viewfinder. You can only take pictures looking at the LCD. That of course wears on the batteries.

Overall for the price it's a decent carema that I feel comfortable taking along with me anywhere I go.
...
