The Flagship announcement described an open industry standard for digital imaging, with a new image file format as its centerpiece that uses Microsoft's OLE structured storage. Kodak today published information about the new format on-line on its home page, and announced those final specifications; developer toolkits and interoperability test suites will be available in the fall for WINDOWS and MACINTOSH platforms.

The Easy share Z650 Digital Camera takes really clear pictures. The shutter delay is a little longer than I would like but for the most part I don't miss my shot. The batteries that come with the camera last about a month at a time before having to recharge them. It travels well and also with stands being used by my 7 year old. Really happy with purchase!...

this camera is like the best i have ever owned.. i travel alot to las vegas and oregon and the pictures have turned out fabulously .

the features are very easy to use.. i just keep mine on auto all the time and it works perfect.

i would recommend this to anyone.

Very nice camera, lots of great features, VERY user friendly. It's a little bulky, so if you are a woman with a small purse, this probably isn't for you. It's a great camera for the price. Nice pictures, but the shutter time is a little too slow for my liking. I'm an avid scrapbooker, and I've always had great resolution, even when I cropped them down, or sized them up. Would recommend to a friend....

This camera the Kodak Z650 is awesome it is 6 megapixels and 10X optical zoom.....it takes amazing pictures and video with sound too...it so mtotally amazing. You can hook it up to your computer...and download the pics and view them or use the docking station and printer. It is the BEST camera I have ever used!!!! Not to mention the easiest one too!!! It has different settings for kids and action shots too....

I've had this camera for about a year now. It has a great optical zoom (10x) and produces great pictures with it. It has many different settings for different situations that work great. My only complaint is that it turns on a little slow - a problem when you see something you need to take a picture of NOW - and it produces slightly blurrly pictures in low light settings unless you use a VERY steady hand. It does easily go into manual mode where all the settings can be changed and adjusted for the blurriness but you have to know what you are doing once you get there. It doesn't fit in your pocket if that is what you are looking for but I've found the small camera bag I use great for storing other little things while traveling. It has 6.1 megapixels which is absolutely fine - the zoom is more important and setting the photos to best quality in getting high resolution pics. Overall, I think it's a great camera - I traveled all around Europe with the camera and was very satisfied with the......

I take family pictures constantly - most often outdoors at my kids sporting events. A good zoom is important to me, since I am far from the playing field. This camera is easy enough for my kids to operate, has a great zoom, stays charged a long time. After some experimenting, I can get good pictures in low light, and good indoor pictures with the many settings available. It also takes video and records sound....

I made this purchase for mainly capturing soccer game pictures of my son, was not dissappointed by the reach of this zoom at all. Compared to most cameras this is a good one for the price for making sure you reach that end of the field shot. Night shots didn't do as well however. Being able to remove pictures easily from the camera to the computer for sharing and storing is very easy, anyone can do that, even an amature. Cost was good compared to alot of cameras with this amount of zoom. The only down side is camera isn't as small as alot of others on the market but for older people would be a good choice to have dials large enough to see....

I like using this camera for my son's soccer pictures. It takes great action photos without blurring. It has a sports mode for my sports/action pictures. It's great! The one thing I don't like about the camera is I wish it had more megapixels and the lens cap pops off real easy....

I love this camera but I am not in-love with this camera. It's great for all around useage, parties, outdoor, indoor, nighttime. The manual feature is great for low-light and artistic shots and takes great pictures just for the sake of taking pictures at events. As far as quality the video is a great feature. the sound and video quality is good however you can't zoom in and out while in video mode. I was also disappointed by the lens cap not staying on from the get-go and friends who have this have had the same problem. It is defintly a major flaw. For artistic purposes as well the low-light options are not so great. The flash tends to wash out everything but using an opaque trash bag to cover it is a nice hack the soften the flash without spending the money on a nicer camera. I love the night shot as well because it brings out beautiful colors except you have to hold nice and still until the second flash. I guess the flash is one of my major concerns, however it works......

The Kodak EasyShare Z650 is a great camera. I have had three digital cameras over the past five years, and I finally got it right with this one. I am not one that likes to read owners manuals, and I can say that this camera did not require me to spend an entire evening reading an instruction guide. Great camera for the money!...

I love this camera. It is small enough to stick in your purse, but not too small to where you would lose it in your purse. :-) I love all the features on it except the night feature. You have to be totally still for it to take a good picture on the night mode. Otherwise it is all blurry and the picture doesn't come out at all. I do love this camera though. I received it for a gift several years ago and love it! The optical zoom is perfect. Last year I was at a college football game and I took a picture of my husband's parents sitting in their seats on the other side of the stadium. And you could tell it was them!!! It is awesome! ...

This is my first digital camera. I spent a lot of time researching what I wanted. The camera had what I was looking for. A large optical zoom at a price I could accept. The images are great. I love that I can attend school concerts and actually get close-up shots of my kids. The best photos are in the daytime outside. Very crisp and colorful. The indoor shots can be a little dark. But with a little tweaking on the computer it is easy.

Downloading the imagage is easy, as is the software for organizing and ordering prints. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a zoom!!

Been very pleased - have taken over 2k pictures since purchasing last May, and have been happy with the quality and value of the Easy Share Z650. With the rechargeable batteries you don't have to worry about purchasing expensive batteries all the time - one charge lasts quite a while. I hiked the Grand Canyon this spring with 2 batteries - and took over 400 pictures, and still had charge on the battery when we got out....
