I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of pictures that this little camera takes. I have had several other digital camers and this is by far my favorite. It is small, about the size of a cell phone--not bulky and hard to handle. It is easy to travel with and doesn't use up valuable luggage space. It has a lot of functions that are easy to work with as well as an expandable memory (SD) slot so that its storage is virtually endless. I love this b/c I simply buy a new SD card and keep on taking photos and when I get home, download them to my laptop, but they are always on the SD cards. It takes video as well, and I have used this function for work and it can be saved to the SD card and transferred to a computer as well. Mine came with the cables to sync to my laptop, I don't remember if that is standard. You can reduce the number of megapixels of the photos you are taking as well. The Kodak V1253 held out a strong appeal with it's large screen, big buttoned, 12 mega pixel reputation. None of it is exaggerated. I love this camera and it makes beautiful pictures even if your not a good picture taker. I will never fall in love with another camera! I definitely would give this camera a two thumbs up! It takes pretty good videos too. The pictures are easy to transfer to the computer. You need to get a memory card for it right from the beginning because the internal memory does not hold that many pictures since it has such a high amount of mega pixels. Enjoy!

I have the Kodak Easyshare V1253. It takes great pictures and is really easy to use. Even my family was impressed at how clear and nice the pictures turned out. Even in places that don't have a lot of light the pictures still come out great. The software is great for removing red eye on the computer....

I recieved this camera for christmas and so far its perfect. The picture qualiy is outstanding! It is so easy to use and has so many different options. A whopping 12 mega pixels gives you great pictures even when they are large....

I bought this camera after much searching for the best camera for the money. It is by far the best I have seen or used. This is probably about the 6th digital camera I have owned. The HD quality is amazing. The colors are true to life. The print quality is exceptional. I highly recommend this camera. The only negative is that you cannot get the full screen while using the 12 mp setting....

This is an excellent camera for beginners. The screen is large for easy review of your photos, the software is great for downloading and uploading to Kodak's website. Very easy to use staight out of the box, self-explainatory even for people with limited tech skills. Great all around, a must have....

this camera is so easy to use and takes great pictures! i prefer cameras that charge to ones with regular batteries because the charge seems to last longer. i upgraded from an older Kodak camera and i think i will stick with the Kodak brand! I also love the dock....

I bought this camera as an upgrade from a 4MP Kodak camera I had. This camera is awesome. It is smaller than what I had so it is easier to carry with me. The LCD screen is larger than most cameras I have seen. It is great that I can take videos with it or add sound tags to pictures as a reminder of what was going on. The option to crop or enhance the picture right from the camera is also a plus. This camera is very easy to use and the pictures come out clean. I bought the Printer/Dock for this camera and the pictures look professional when they come out. This is the best present I have bought myself in a long time!!!...
