OK it doesn't soak up a swimming pool but it does soak up a lot. These paper towels are so absorbsent and soft, I use them for everything. They are really tough too, when using them for cleaning window and such. The price is awesome when you can get 1 roll for a dollar or less, depending on the store. They are so thick, they don't tear easily. I used to buy them at Wal-Mart but for some reason I have to go out of my way to find them, not sure why. I figured they are just that popular now. Still I will go to other stores just to look for Viva paper towels since I can't get them at my everyday shopping source. Whenever I can't get them my kids definitely notice and comment on how bad the quality of the current paper towels are. By now they know and just say, oh they must have been out again, huh? I have used Viva paper towels for everything from cleaning dirty faces to window cleaning to drying pots and pans. When I do dry things like pots and pans I only need 1 paper...

I love, love, love Kleenex Viva Paper Towels! To me, this paper towel feels more like cloth than paper. It is my household indulgence. For most household items I find the cheapest alternative. However, I love these towels so much that I splurge for them. It sounds funny, but it makes me feel a little elegant and rich when I use them.

I love to use Viva towels for every day cleaning. On thing I do is drizzle a little olive oil on my wood furniture and shine it up with the Viva paper towels. I've tried this with other towels, and it is not the same. The Viva towels work really good for cleaning mirrors and windows, too. They don't shred, even when I use them to wipe up spills on my tile floor.

Even though they are a little more costly than other paper towels, I find that they last a lot longer because you don't need to use as much. To me it's worth the extra cost to be highly satisfied!

I love Kleenexs Viva Paper Towels.I got a sample of them in the mail awhile back and I loved the way that they absorbed large and small amounts of liquid.At first I must admit I was not to sure about them because there so many brands to choose from and hoiw much could a paper towel actually absorb.So I put my Viva to the test.I spilled purposely of course some water onto my kitchen table a moderate amount and i was expecting to use more than one paper towel but I onkly had to use one Viva and it was great.they come in designs or just in plain whote form and they are really soft and thick so your really getting your moneies worth and they dont cost anymore or less than others but the job they do is amazing and in the end you will be actually saving some money because you have to only use a one per mess instead of the average two so when you count the paper towels you dont have to use then you can begin to see where you save your money.

I love Kleenex Viva paper towels. They are the best!! They might cost a little more and I don't use paper towels everyday, but they are good for the money spent. Thick, absorbent and won't fall apart like other paper towels. I use them in the house, in the car, even in bathroom at times to towel dry hands. Better than all the other brands that have thinness and using more. Actually saving trees!! My trust in a paper towel is definitely Viva and one other thing, if you're out of napkins they'll double for that too, especially if you're having hot wings!!

Kleenex Viva paper towels are by far the most absorbent and thickest paper towels I have ever used. One paper towel does the trick every time. I can even rinse it off and continue using it for bigger messes! It has a soft texture as well. I highly recommend this product. It's much more effective than going through 3 or 4 paper towels of other brands. The only drawback is it's not good fore the environment. It is a little more expensive than some other brands, but you also have to consider how many sheets of the other brand you will use to do the job of one Viva paper towel. I think it's well worth the cost.

Great paper towel- thicker than most others in the price range. However, there are other paper towels that are definately softer as this one is not that soft.

Viva paper towel sometimes costs a little more but they actually save you money. One roll of Viva goes a long way! Any other brand name paper towel gets used up quicky but because Viva is so strong it seems to last forever! I am using one roll a week compared to three of any other brand. It actually costs less than some of the generic brands that fall apart as soon as you try to take a sheet off the roll. I find coupons for Viva in my local newspaper on a regular basis and they have a great website that sometimes makes coupons available. I did see another review where they mentioned the quality has gone down over time but I have not found that to be the case. I have used Viva for only about a year and have been perfectly happy with them. I brought my elderly mother a roll to try and she it thrilled with them! Being on a fixed income she was buying the least expensive brand she could and after trying them agrees with me that they are saving her money.

Viva paper towels are definately worth the extra money. They are almost like having a cloth. Soft and strong, we were happy that we only needed to use one paper towel instead of 2-3 sheets of other brands. After using them I can't find another brand that is comparable.

My Viewpoint: I admit Kleenex Viva Paper Towel Choose a Size Towels are expensive as far as paper towels go. But these paper towels are more absorbent as one ply sheets than many others I have used that are two ply. Viva Paper Towels

Ok, I know it is against all green rules to use paper towels in the first place, however, I had to buy paper towels for a recipe I was going to make. I bought Viva because I used them years ago before I stopped using paper towels.

I remembered instantly why I bought them before. They are incredible paper towels. I used an entire paper towel to clean all the counters in my kitchen and the stove too. This is because Viva paper towels are able to be rinsed out and reused several times. I was cooking a turkey and didn't want to get turkey juice on a dish rag so again I used a Viva towel and it worked great when cleaning up the mess. Best of all, I was able to throw the hazardous turkey juice away. I'm also paranoid about poultry germs.

The roll is fairly large. They seem to go a long way. I even used one with my Swiffer and vinegar and water when I was cleaning the kitchen floor just to see if it would work. Worked great, however, it doesn't slide the same as the Swiffer pads......

Kleenex took one of the best products on the market and lowered the quality to just average. For nearly a decade I have insisted on nothing but Viva paper towels, but now that they have appreciably lowered the quality I buy whatever is on sale. Why pay a premium price for just average?

They seem to have hardened and thinned them so they can sell longer rolls at higher prices and still have them fit standard dispensers. Kleenex should lower the price if they want their reduced quality product to compete with products like Bounty that are now comparable.

I love, love, love these paper towels so much that if I go to the store and they are out of Viva I will go without paper towels before I bought another brand. I have very few products that I am this loyal to (really just Viva and Charmin) and believe me it is saying alot for me to go with out paper towels. I even clean my toilets with them. I love this product!...

Kleenex uses ancient virgin forest for it's products, therefore I do not recommend purchasing. Not only do they use clear-cut pratices in places such as the Boreal Forest of Canada, they claim to be an enviromentally friendly company. I would purchase any recycled product before considering Kleenex Viva Paper Towels.
