This product is well worth the price. It definitely stands up to the high reputation of Kitchen Aid. This product deserves more than five stars. I absolutely love it, and I have no idea why I waited so long to get one of my own. It is definitely worth the price, even more so now that the price has decreased. Just in time for Christmas!!

I love to cook and bake. This mixer makes both of these hobbies of mine, ten times easier. I am able to throw things into the mixer, and then I am free to start cleaning my kitchen, while my stuff is mixing. I love that is frees up my hands. It is very versitile with both attachments, as well as extremely easy to use and clean. The clean up is my favorite part. The attachments are easy to detach and easy to clean. I also enjoy that the mixer is very multi-functional, in that you can use it to make bread, grind meat, and process vegetables. What other machine can do all that?

My kitchenAid and I have had a love affair from day one.

I decided to put it to the test first thing. I made bread. If you've ever made bread by hand you know you need to workout to do so. This mixer never hesitated, it didn';t bog down, not once. The bread came out just great.

At Christmas time I make dozens and dozens of cookies to give away. You just can't believe how much time my KitchenAid mixer saved me. Blending sugar and butter takes no time at all and no matter what ingrediants you add, or how much you add, it doesn't change speed.

Making frosting especially cooked frosting where you have to add hot sugar water is so easy with this machine. With it being free standing you have no trouble handling the hot pot. And it mixes it to perfection.

As much as I love this for making bread, I think my altime favorite energy saver is when I make fudge. It beats it to a glossy finish in just no time at all.

I hope it never quits, I have had it for twenty years and...

My Kitchenaid was a bridal shower gift from my mother-in-law. I dont think she knew just how much she would be getting her money's worth! I use my kitchenaid almost everyday. It is sturdy, and I dont have to worry about it tipping over, its incredably easy to clean, and use. Even when I have it on its highest speed, it doesn't shake, or wobble, or anything. One of the great things about the kitchenaid, is its not only for mixing. There are a number of different types of attachments, and it comes with a cookbook with GREAT recipes in it! You can have it match your decore in your kitchen with the multiple colors it is available in. This product is something that I will pass on to my children and so on. Its extremely durable, and it will last that long, im almost sure of it. I can set the speed and walk away and finish watching a show, or go about prepping the rest of my food. All you have to do is set a timer, and you get to take a breath, and also save your arm muscle from aching from using...

The kitchenAid Stand mixer was on my Christmas wish list for years but I kept telling everyone, not to spend so much while hoping they would. When I first tried it out I was so thrilled about all that it would do. I made better cookies than ever and my favorite gingerbread houses were a snap with this sturdy helper. I loved using all the attachments and even bought additional pieces. I used this mixer for five years while I catered all my freinds parties, birthday and wedding cakes were so easy, making perfect bread was so much fun I even tried ingredients I had never used before. I became so at ease with this mixer I persuaded a local bakery to part with their famous recipe for Hummingbird Cake with all the fruits and nuts that my old hand mixers would not manage. I think the quality of this mixer is so superior to the old ones had made do with for years that I became a better cook and since I have small one woman catering business being a better cook was an asset. I would hihgly recommend......

I love to bake, but probably wouldn't bake 1/2 as much without my kitchen aid mixer. I used my mom's while I was growing up and learning to cook. I received mine as a wedding gift 6 years ago and it still works as well as the day I received it! I use it on average 5 times/week. Works great for cakes, cookies, doughs, ANYTHING! I have used it hundreds of time to knead bread dough and it works much better than by hand! (and much easier!)

I am not one to spend more for the better quality item unless it is absolutely necessary... and for this... SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY, YOU'LL BE VERY VERY GLAD YOU DID!

oh wow, my husband bought this for my several years ago and i really did not want it, could not think of a good reason to get it, besides it was very expensive!! i am so happy with the kitchen aid!! this has become one of my favorite kitchen appliances, i use it all the time, i do not even have a regular hand mixer in my house anymore. i have some of the attachments for the kitchen aid, i have the meat grinder which has come in handy when processing my husband venisonand when making home made egg rolls, i also have the pasta attachment,works well but i do not use often. it handles great on cookie dough and gentle on other foods. it came with a bread hook, wisk and mixing paddle. it has a few different speeds. it's bowl is fairly big and i can usually double a cookie dough recipe in it.

this product is well worth it a great quality product and great investment, it is available in just about any color now so keep that in mind when you decide to buy your own kitchen aid!

My kitchenaid mixer was a gift more than ten years ago and I have used it almost every single week since receiving it. This mixer is a real work horse as it quickly and efficiently mixes and blends all doughs and mixes. Prior to receiving my Kitchenaid I woudl shy away from recipes where things like chocolate chips, nuts and dried fruit had to mixed in. Now I freely bake these and many other recipes as my mixer does all of the work. In addition this mixer is easy to clean. The bowl detaches form the base with a slight turn. It is stanless steel and cleans up like a dream. The body of the mixer is is metal and also cleans up quickley and easily. A wipe with a dampened cloth usually does the trick but sometimes a small bit of soap is required. I would without hesitation reccomend the Kitchenaid mixer to anyone. As a matter of fact I often give this mixer as a bridal shower gift and it always gets rave reviews.

This product is easy to use, easy to clean, kneads bread for you! does all the work for you and has half the clean up as a regular hand mixer! I can just set it, and let it do the work while i do something else. Absolutely would buy this again!

All my life I've used a hand mixer. I finally just got this standing mixer a couple of months ago. I'm having trouble weaning myself off the hand mixer. I've used it a couple of times on big projects but for little ones I'm still reaching for the hand mixer. I understand that being intimidated by an appliance is my problem so I guess the problem I have with the standing mixer is that it is a little cumbersome to get set up and pulled apart again when I'm done. I do like having my hands free to do other things do other things though. I am hopeful that the more I use it, the more I'll find I want to use it.

I do a lot of baking! Nothing too fancy, but all homemade! I can not tell you how many hand mixers I have burnt up! Cookie dough is thick...my Kitchen-aid Classic Stand Mixer has made my life somuch easier! I can let it run while continuing to add ingredients. It has numerous speed settings. The different attachments are also great! I have the juicer which I use during citrus season to make fresh juice my family loves!

For many years I have admired the Kitchen Aide Mixer, but it was just out of my price range. I also figured it was just "pretty looking", why waste that kind of money. So for years I used a cheap stand mixer which would not mix very well or I would use a hand mixer which would burn out after heavy use. Most were cheap flimsly machines. One day while out shopping I found this mixer on sale and using a gift certificate I had received paid about $100 out my pocket. Considering regular price was around $250 I figured I got a bargain. I was so excited with my purchase. I couldn't wait to get home and bake something. I must say it is very heavy, so place it in a spot where it will call home. It is the best investment I have made. It can handle anything. The attachments are not flimsy either. They are solid. They can handle heavy dough or whip up something light and fluffy. And now the colors they have are gorgeous too. You will not be dissapointed by this purchase....

If you've never used a Kitchen Aid mixer, you're really missing an opportunity to own the best in the business. I was lucky enough to acquire mine as a bridal shower gift from my mother, she knew I'd always wanted my own and surprised me with it on that day.

She had owned one for years and years and always had excellent results with whatever she was creating at the time. That particular mixer was handed down to my older sister and is still in excellent working order and in great shape. Obviously Kitchen Aid uses excellent quality motors on these machines allowing for years of use.

I often make homemade cookies, some consist of heavy, chunky batters but my Kitchen Aid does a great job of mixing all ingredients perfectly. Mine is a 5 quart size which comes with a spiral "Power Knead" dough hook and large mixing paddle. It features a bowl-lift handle that raises the bowl into mixing position. I was given the Kitchen Aid mixer as a gift from my husband 5 years ago and I absolutely love it. I use it at least twice a week and use it to make all differnt kinds of foods. It is very efficient, cleans up well, and fits nicely in my kitchen. It also limits my prep time when I am cooking because it works so fast. This is one of the best products I have ever used and I highly reccomend it to anyone.
