I always wanted a standing mixer and when I finally got it I was in love. I use this for many things from kneading my breads to whipping cream to making cookies for the kids. While it has it many purposes I am finding myself wishing it was bigger and needing to buy more attachments. It does take up allot of space, whether you keep it in the cabinet or on the cabinet. It is also a spendy purchase if you are only planning on using it on holidays or occasionally batch of cookies. For my family this was well worth the price and it also comes in a variety of colors. It also has attachments you can buy, like a pasta maker or a meat grinder.

I got my Kitchenaide Mixer after years of having a cheap hand held mixer! My Husband bought it for me for christmas 2 years ago. This this mixes everything I throw at it! I'm a busy mom of 4 very active children. I love to bake and this mixer give me an extra hand, so to speak. No more hand held mixers for me! I no longer have to scrape the sides of a bowl with a spoon, nor do I have to worry about the beaters making it to the bottom of the bowl!

I HIGHLY Recommend this kitchenaide mixer!! You will NOT regret it!

The Kitchenaid Classic Plus Mixer is the most powerful stand mixer I have ever used! I bake a lot and this mixer has the power to even knead yeast dough. With the optional cover, you can add ingredients with the mixer on without them slashing on the counter, or worse, you.

The Classic Plus comes with a basic paddle beater, whip beater and dough kneader. You can do almost any kind of mixing with this mixer. I use it alot to make cookies and treats for my grandchildren. They both love "cookies on a stick", cut-out cookies, baby cakes, cupcakes, and any other treat I can dream up for them. The Classic Plus makes light work of all batters and doughs, saving my arms a lot of work!

I love my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. It does everything I need while keeping my hands free to do other things in the kitchen while its mixing and whipping up many delicous things. I wouldn't trade this for the world.

KitchenAid mixers are, by far, the best on the market, and have been for years. My mother just replaced hers, and she's had it since the 1970's at least. They are durable, hard-working, easy to care for, and yes they are bulky and big, but I like that since that provides stability and large capacity.

There are a lot of attachments you can get, beyond the three basic paddles. I love the cheese grater attachment because I hate grating it by hand. I also want to try the ice cream maker attachment!

My biggest recommendation when buying a Kitchenaid mixer is to fork over the extra money to get the biggest. I have the smaller capacity bowl and making a large batch of bread or a double batch of cookies tends to get batter up into the top of the mixing attachment which makes clean up a bit more tedious. Also, the smaller bowl does not have a handle, which I hate, because sometimes its hard to lift and pour something out of it using only the edge to hold on to. I believe the bigger...

I honestly couldn't live without my Kitchen Aid mixer! It is my favorite kitchen tool by far, and I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. It has the strength I need it to have and does a lot of different things I want it to do, such as mixing heavy, sticky doughs that I am completely not interested in doing by hand (and I don't think a regular mixer could handle). Kitchenaid also offers lots of accessories that do so much more than the average stand mixer could. We have recently bought the meat grinder attachment and one of the pasta maker attachments. We have yet to use them but plan to do so in the near future.

The one downside I can say is that it's very heavy and large, so it's not very practical to move around the kitchen or to store inside a cabinet if you need it even fairly infrequently. I can't wait to try out some of our new attachments, especially the ones for making pasta. These are definitely high quality products from a good manufacturer.

I was given the KitchenAid Stand Mixer-Classic Plus as a Christmas gift from my husband five years ago. Since that time I have used the KitchenAid at least three times per week and don't understand how I ever lived life without it!

I am an extremely busy and frugal mother of four. The KitchenAid is an investment, but it will last a lifetime. I have made countless loaves of bread using the bread hook attachment. This has saved our family a lot of money and the bread I make is much healthier than the store brands, and it tastes amazing!

The KitchenAid Stand Mixer came with a spectacular cookbook as well as three different mixing attachments. It is a very sturdy machine that has held up exceedingly well through many birthday cakes, cookies, loaves of bread, cinnamon rolls, and many other delights.

Kitchenaid makes great products. I am a die-hard bargain hunter but this is definitely worth paying extra for. They are durable and long lasting and look gret. They work very well and even come in great colors to match your decor. I highly recommend any item that they make but especially the mixer...it is an absolute dream! I got the shiny red one and wanted to get everythig to match it! It is the center ofmy kitchen and I use it for just about anything and everyting that I can. It has really impressed me with all that I can do with it!

I purchased this mixer about 7 years ago due to heavy cookie creation - I was best known for my Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookie dipped in Chocolate. This is a heavy dough as most chocolate chip cookie based recipes are, and at the time I was burning up the motor regularly on a variety of hand mixers. Still have the same Kitchenaid mixer, and am happy to report that I am still baking my signature cookies!

Good value, heavy duty, accessories are available. Best thing about the accessories is that you can get rid of stand alone small appliances as they break down. Recently my juicer stopped working (I love Orange Crush - a drink that absolutely requires freshly squeezed OJ) so I got the juicer attachment. Easy to store, takes up less space.

KITCHENAID MIXER

I have the kitchenaid mixer, I love it and use it for everything I do. Wether it be for baking, grinding meat, mixing meat for meatloaf, making whipped cream, it is the most handy appliance I have in my kitchen and it is always out on my counter for easy access! It never lets me down when I need it the most, such as making bake sale items for fund - raising or Christmas goodies gift baskets. The best mixer by far!

I really like my kitchen aid classic plus stand mixer. It can add so many attachments. It is very easy to use. Does a good job. Easy to clean up and hands free. I like the splatter guard and how easy it is to add ingredients. On the bad side it is heavy and bulky to store. It is a little pricey. I guess overall it is worth it though....

the stand mixer is truly the best investment for a busy family. i am able to make things so fast and get my baking done for the whole family in minutes. i used to use a hand mixer and with my arthritus it was not working. i was unsure if this would be worth it and now i cannot stop talking about it. they have recipes and more attachments for everyone in the family to help out...

This is a nice heavy duty mixer, that is great for most needs. The only negative is that it is difficult to add flour to some recipes without it flying out of the bowl...

This is a mixer that has not needed any repairs or maintenance in the years that I have owned it..

When I looked at these mixers I really wanted one but wondered if I would use it enough to make the cost effective. I decided that it was and I use it all the time. I love it for holiday baking and candy making. Love it for breads and rolls. Heavy loads are especially nice as I don't have to mix by hand! I am so pleased with my mixer and there is no upkeep on it other than wiping it off after each use. I would highly recommend these machines to any cooks who are considering it....

I had to write about the Kitchen Aide Stand Mixer--I've had mine for several years now, and it is STILL going strong! I have used it for general cookie mixing--it can put together dough in minutes. I also use it to make homemade bread dough--no more kneading bread on the counter!

Pros: Allows you to use your hands while mixing the dough or batter, attachments to use for pasta dough, grinding meat are available, powerful enough to take pretty substaintial abuse and it is easy to clean. Mine has a lever that can adjust the level of the bowl, making it easy to add ingredients.

Cons: It does cost more, but because it is so sturdy and long lasting, it is a worthwhile investment for those who do a lot of baking. It is not practical for the occasional baker, since the unit is quite heavy--it needs a special place on your counter. It's hard to carry around if you keep it in a drawer or cupboard in between uses.
